The political and civil unrest during the last years of the First World War had a profound impact on the political life in many European countries. Academic research on the Swedish Social Democratic Party and the development of the parliamentary system during these years, often focus on the civil unrest and the mobilization of the labour movement during the spring of 1917, and the impact on Swedish politics of the Russian and German revolutions.This study is an examination of the relation between the Swedish labour movement and the Finnish Civil War of 1918. The general aim of the study is to examine how different levels and organisations of the labour movement acted in regards to the situation in Finland, and how these different levels and organisations interacted with one another. A second aim of this examination is to better understand during what kind of processes of the Swedish labour movement?s history that the Finnish Civil War occurred, and how it affected them.The conclusion of the study is that the there was a disparity between the leadership of the Social Democratic Party (SAP), which at the time was part of the Swedish government together with the liberal party, and the grassroots of the labour movement, organized in trade unions, and in the local organizations of the SAP and the Social Democratic Left Party (SSV).

There are still some problems in School such as bullying, insulting, insecurity and lack of peaceful and harmoni-ous school environment.

Inom stödverksamhet för vuxna med utvecklingsstörning, som regleras enligt LSS (Lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade, 1993:387 ) har personalens bemötande en avgörande betydelse för kvaliteten och möjligheten till delaktighet. Syftet med detta arbete är att belysa, tolka och förstå hur personal i denna stödverksamhet ser på sin kompetens, och hur de upplever att de kan tillägna sig och utveckla denna. Med en narrativ ansats, där människans behov av att berätta ses som en existentiell förutsättning, har svaren sökts med intervjun som metod. Med fokus på dialog har de teoretiska utgångspunkterna centrerats till begreppen kompetens, kunskap, berättelse och en kommunikationsteori som sätter dialogen i centrum, Michael Bachtins teori om dialogicitet. Intervjupersonerna ser både yrkesmässiga och personliga händelser som avgörande för hur deras syn på yrkesrollen förändrats över tid.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka två förskollärares tankar angående verbal språkutveckling och hur dessa visade sig i verksamheten. Vi ville ta reda på vad pedagogerna hade för tankar som de använde sig av i det språkutvecklande arbetet på avdelningen och huruvida de rent praktiskt använde sig av dessa tankar i verksamheten I vår undersökning använde vi oss av kvalitativ intervju och öppen observation. Vi intervjuade och observerade två pedagoger på en avdelning på en privatägd förskola i en stor stad i södra Sverige där alla barnen på avdelningen hade svenska som modersmål. Vi använde oss av kvalitativ intervju för att få så uttömmande svar som möjligt och minska riken att missa intressant stoff. Öppen observation valde vi för att på ett naturligt sätt kunna följa pedagogernas språkutvecklande arbete samt för att se hur deras tankar införlivades i den praktiska verksamheten. De slutsatser vi har dragit är att det verbala språkutvecklande arbetet på avdelningen präglades av ett medvetet förhållningsätt till det språkutvecklande arbetet av båda pedagogerna.

Young people?s political influence has been surveyed, studied and discussed several times in Sweden during the last decade. There is a fear among the politicians that the young people are not interested in politics, especially not in party politics. On the other hand there is, among the youngsters a feeling of invisibility, not being seen or heard or for that sake respected. There are a lot of formal possibilities for young people?s political influence, but there are not as many real possibilities or situations to actually practice these possibilities.

According to the national curriculum guidelines for elementary school, preschool and after-school 2011, (i.e. Lgr11), the Swedish school is based on a democratic foundation. Schools should prepare students to develop an understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity not only in the society as a whole but also how this should be reflected in the morals and ethics between us. The purpose of this study was to describe how teachers in multicultural schools perceptions and experiences on teaching pupils with diverse immigrant origin, and how they apply these cultural expression in practice.In particular, I focus on four teachers in multicultural schools and how they reason about applying cultural expressions that are transmitted at these schools and by them. Explicitly, I review how from policy documents and their own personal pedagogic are reflected in the actual teaching.

Dagens samhälle kräver att organisationer anpassar sig efter nya lagar, ny teknik och förändrade ekonomiska förhållanden för att överleva och vara konkurrenskraftiga, vilket i sin tur kräver att verksamheter ständigt arbetar med kompetensutveckling. Tillvägagångssättet kan skilja sig åt mellan verksamheter, beroende på deras mål och struktur. Syftet med vår undersökning är därför att jämföra kompetensutvecklingsprocessen hos fyra olika organisationer, varav en kommunal-, en statlig- och två privata verksamheter. De frågeställningar som ligger till grund för studien är om, och i så fall hur, kartläggningen av kompetens ser ut? Hur planeras och genomförs kompetensutvecklingen samt huruvida kompetensutvecklingen utvärderas och följs upp? Det empiriska materialet samlades in genom fyra intervjuer, en i vardera verksamhet.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka på vilka sätt som pedagogen kommunicerar med yngre barn i förskolan. I litteraturen kan man läsa om den sociokulturella teorin, vad kommunikation är och vad pedagogen har för roll. För att ta reda på vilka sätt pedagogen kommunicera med yngre barn i förskolan gjordes observationer i tamburen vid utgång. Här får pedagogen möjlighet att kommunicera om matematik, kroppsuppfattning, höger, vänster m.m. När observationerna utfördes var det snö och kallt ute.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how administrative officers at the Swedish social insurance agency experience and deal with the goal conflicts they may experience. Furthermore, the purpose is to gain a greater understanding on how they perceive their role in the implementation process, and their position as the link between the citizens and the state. Two potential conflicts are examined; between quantitative goals and performance measures and those more qualitative and hard to measure; between economic values such as cost efficiency and productivity and democratic values such as the rule of law. The other conflict examined is that between implementing and following the laws set forth, take into account the individual needs and interests of the citizen. The theoretical framework consists of Lundquist?s theory on public officers as the guardians of democracy, which means that they should not only implement laws and rules according to political intentions, but also make sure that the democratic values and principles are followed in the relationship between state and citizen.

This essay examines a presupposed correlation between the way one look upon values and the way one look upon the will of the people in a theoretical democratic context. The more specific purpose is to test the following hypothesis: There is a reversed connection between the way one look upon values and the way one look upon the will of the people in a theoretical democratic context, that is; a strong claim of values give reason to a limited conception of the will of the people and a weak claim of values gives reason for a more unlimited conception of the will of the people.In order to test the hypothesis I examine three different conceptions of democracy, these are: pluralist democracy, deliberative democracy and constitutional democracy. I analyze the way they look upon values, there view of the will of the people and finally if there is a connection between the way they look upon values and the will of the people. Values should be understood in a metaethical context. In other words it is not values in the ?common? meaning, instead its how val-ues in them selves should be understood, and even more relevant, what we mean when we ex-press values.My conclusions are, first and foremost, that there is a correlation between the will of the people and values, according to the formulation of the hypothesis.

Instead of realising freedom, the consciousness gets entangled in self debasing activities in its attempts to master the unrelenting principles of the abstract freedom. We get ?the unhappy consciousness?.

The aim of this thesis is to better understand branding work in government agencies. What can systematic branding work result in, in a government agency, besides a strong brand in itself? Can it contribute to the democratic mission that government agencies have?Based on background information on government agencies, their mission in terms of communication, their particular characteristics in relation to the private sector; brands and how they are developed; as well as theories in organizational communication, and research on the possibilities and risks of branding work in the public sector, a qualitative case study on the Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV) was carried out.The case study consists of a study of PRV?s brand platform, their website as well as an interview with the person responsible for developing the platform. The information gathered during the case study indicates that PRV?s brand work seems to have resulted in a number of positive outcomes.

Genom människors minnen beroende på när de gick i skolan kan man ge en bild över hur skolan förändrats i elevers ögon. Det svenska språket lärs ut i skriftform men hur har man använt sig av det verbala verktyg språket faktiskt är. Eleverna som intervjuats har gått i skolan under 40-60 och 90 talet. Elever minns mycket från sin skoltid.

The use of coaching is fairly up to date in the business world although it?s relatively new.Despite this, there?s a lack of clarity about what coaching is and what it signifies. Our point ishowever not to define coaching. Based on the normative coaching literature, the purpose is,from a critical discourse analysis to explore the power relations that affect the coach andcoached in their relation to each other, so as to be able to criticize managerial coachingrelationship as presented in the literature. This will contribute to enabling for a more opendiscourse.The theoretical image of managerial coaching described by the literature as a democraticexercised leadership by a certain type of behavior and attitudes, will lead to improvedorganizational performance.
