Syftet med detta arbete var att jämföra den officiella bilden av demokrati i Kuwait, såsom den beskrivs i konstitutionen från 1962, med den bild som externa oberoendeaktörer ger vad gäller demokrati i landet. Den externa bilden hämtades från olika FNrapporter, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International och The Bureau ofDemocracy, Human Rights and Labour. Dessa kompletterades sedan med en analysav det politiska systemet i Kuwait. Arbetet grundade sig på en demokratiskanalysmetod som utarbetats av International IDEA (Institute for Democracy andElectoral Assistance).Det visade sig att konstitutionen innehöll många demokratiska och individuellarättigheter och garantier ofta i linje med IDEA:s principer. Konstitutionen beskrevinte en fullvärdig demokrati, men många av dess komponenter fanns ändå där.

Denna uppsats handlar om marknadsföringen inom hotellbranschen i synnerhet olika hotell som finns i Kalmar stad. Vår utgångspunkt är Armstrong och Kotlers (2007) fyra P:n, det vill säga produkt, pris, plats, promotion och vad dessa har för betydelse när hotellen ska marknadsföra sig för att överleva på en konkurrensfylld marknad. Vi har inriktat oss på hur marknadsföringen kan se ut inom hotellbranschen och använts oss av frågeställningen vilka marknadsföringsstrategier betonar hotell i sina utvecklingsarbeten för att se hur marknadsföringen kan utvecklas i framtiden. Abstract In the following text we analyse different perspectives in a meeting between a theatre and a visiting school class from grade six in the Swedish Primary School, in order to investigate the conditions for children?s participation and for making children?s own voices heard in professional theatres. Though it is common for Swedish theatre artists to try to understand and interpret children?s perspectives, it is rare for children to be given the opportunity to show their own perspectives in professional theatres in Sweden (Davet 2011 p. 18).

Den psykosociala hälsan bland Sveriges befolkning blir allt sämre. Undersökningar visar att mellan femton och fyrtio procent av befolkningen lider av oro, nedstämdhet, sömnbesvär och trötthet. Den största ökningen har skett i yngre åldrar med i stort sett fördubblade andelar. Då skolan utgör en central plats i barns och ungdomars liv är det viktigt att den är välfungerande och arbetar för att främja elevernas hälsa. Syftet med studien var undersöka hur eleverna på en skola i Helsingborgs stad upplevde sin skolmiljö i relation till sin psykosociala hälsa samt om skolans hälsofrämjande arbete påverkade elevernas upplevelse av hälsa i positiv riktning.Datainsamling har skett genom enkäter till alla elever i årskurs 4 ? 9.

Sammanfattning Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva kommunala chefers uppfattningar om vilka faktorer som främjar systematiskt arbetsmiljöarbete (SAM). SAM är lagstadgat i Arbetsmiljölagen och är ett viktigt redskap för att skapa en god arbetsmiljö, ökad effektivitet och minskade kostnader. Stödet till chefer och organisationer i deras arbete med SAM är en viktig uppgift för företagssköterskor i företagshälsovården. Antonovskys (1987/1991) teori, känsla av sammanhang (KASAM) och i huvudsak det salutogena, hälsofrämjande synsättet ligger till grund för studien.Studien har en kvalitativt beskrivande design. Datainsamlingen har skett genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex enhetschefer från två svenska kommuner.

Barns inflytande i förskolan - Children?s influence at the preschool This essay concentrates around teachers work with children´s influence at the preschool and how that affects the days there for the children and the teachers. The purpose of the essay is to present how four educationalists placed at two different preschools work with childrens influence at the preschool and their point of wiev of the matter. With that I also wanted to expose how the educationalists work with childrens rights at the preschool and to that I added how democracy is used at the preschool. The investigation´s starting point was the questions: What does childrens influence at the preschool mean for the educationalists? How do the educationalists think regarding childrens rights? When can the children be included in dessisionmaking at the preschool? When is it not possible for the children to be included in the dessisionmaking? The four educationalists were intervjued seperately to get the most honest answers.

The purpose of this study was to determine if wellness benefits led to any changes in exercise habits among employed postmen. The study was a cross-sectional study carried out by a quantitative method. The collection of data took the form of a questionnaire. The sample consisted of 30 postmen employed at a post office in northern Sweden. The results show that of the postman who use health care benefits, there has been a relatively small change in exercise habits.

Syfte Syftet med studien var att undersöka olika professioners synpunkter, erfarenheter och upplevelser av det samverkansarbete som pågår mellan förskola och barnhälsovård i Karlskrona kommun och vilken betydelse samverkansarbetet har haft för det lokala samarbetet, för deras professionella utveckling och kompetens samt på vilket sätt samverkansarbetet har påverkat arbetsformer och arbetets innehåll.Metod Studien hade en kvalitativ ansats med fokusgruppintervjuer som metod. Fyra fokusgruppintervjuer genomfördes med 21 respondenter från barnavårdcentraler och förskolor i Karlskrona kommun. Respondenterna representerades av sex olika professioner; distriktssköterskor, förskollärare, specialpedagoger, barnskötare, avdelningschefer och rektorer. Kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes som analysmetod.Resultat Analysen resulterade i ett tema och 13 kategorier med fokus på samverkan, samarbete och samsyn. Temat fångade respondenternas positiva inställning och vilja att samarbeta, samtidigt som de önskade bättre förutsättningar i form av tillräckligt med tid och struktur samt att arbetsledningen visar att de stödjer och prioriterar samarbete.

Discussions about the democratic deficit of the European Union have gotten more intense and the criticism usually points towards a great gap between the citizens and the EU politics. In this study the political communication policy is being put under the scope to investigate to what extent the policy is designed to counter the democratic deficit, supported by the theory of deliberative democracy. The analysis examines three aspects of the deficit ? decentralization, participation and the distribution of information ? and makes research into the communicative measures that have been implemented. The importance for EU to make deliberation possible is stressed throughout the essay and in the conclusion I argue that improvements still need to be made.  .

The purpose of this study is to determine if and how municipal consultative entities through influence may affect the legitimacy of the Swedish democratic model. The study aims to do this through analysing the opportunities for influence present with the Youth Council and the Council of the Retired in Karlstads municipality, to determine how the councils may affect political participation and the role of elected representatives. To do so, the study asks the following primary research question:"What requisites for influence are present for participants of municipal consultative entities, as found for the representatives of the youth and the retired within the framework of their participation in the Youth Council and the Council of the Retired in Karlstads municipality?"The study answers this research question by dividing it into one question of policy and one question of democratic perspective, and investigating these matters through nine snowballing interviews with the decision makers, organisational actors and participants of the councils. The information from the interviews is then analysed per council through a framework of democracy theory, policy process theory and organisation theory.

My research interest in the upcoming paper is the increased need for promotion of schools. I. e. the individual school´s needs to be able to show its existence, in the huge flow and availability of information; schools and universities, study circles, streamed lectures on the Internet, public schools and private schools, different educational directions, et cetera. The schools? needs to market itself, make good PR and sell their pedagogical idea, and that has become increasingly important. My purpose is to clarify how music teachers, in the Swedish primary and secondary school, skills and competences are used in outreach activities within but also outside, the school premises.

The aim for this essay is to investigate students attitudes to a local schoolboard with student majority to determin the level of functionality, relevancy and interest for this schoolboard among the students in a Swedish gymnasium in Örebro. This is done by distibution of a questionnaire form to a third of the students in the third grade . The results show that the attitudes overall amongst the students are positive, although the level of interest is low. One explanation for this low level of interest could be the lack of information from the school board to the students..

Denna uppsats är en fallstudie som går ut på att beskriva företaget Icehotel AB och hur de gått tillväga för att bli ett attraktivt turistmål och framgångsrikt företag.Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning där vi intervjuat företagets VD Yngve Bergqvist samt kunder som besökt Icehotel. I resultatet redovisas svaret från dessa intervjuer.Vi har valt att lägga tyngdpunkten på marknadsföringen av Icehotel och hur de lyckats nå ut till människor från hela världen. I teoridelen tar vi upp Turistmarknadsföringens 8 P och Attraktionsutveckling. I analysen tillämpar vi sedan dessa på företaget.I slutsatsen diskuterar vi kring hur Icehotel gått tillväga för att bli ett framgångsrikt företag. Due to a globalised world business travel is flourishing. This paper examines how middle level executives, travelling a lot in their work at a multi-national company, feel about their travel. It looks for links between business travel and work satisfaction among them. A short presentation of the patterns of business travel and relevant motivational and stress theories is given. Data for the paper is collected using a survey (78 participants) and interviews.

This paper is about teachers ?attitudes towards their pupils, both today and in the past. It describes various events with Adam, Elsa and Kajsa which I have observed at my preschool. Via a retrospective analysis I have attempted to understand how teachers ?views of their pupils has changed from the beginning of the century to the present day.
