De återstående två tredjedelar av tunnlarna igenom Hallandsåsen kommer att slutföras med hjälp av fullortsborrningsteknik. Tunnelborrmaskinen (TBM) är en sköldad maskin som har möjlighet att gå i öppet så väl som slutet läge. Slutet läge innebär att utrymmet framför borrhuvudet trycksätts av en slurryblandning med åtta bars mottryck som begränsar vatteninläckaget samt stabiliserar fronten. Även förbehandling av bergmassan genom skölden eller genom borrhuvudet är möjlig för att begränsa vatteninläckaget och stabilisera bergmassan framför fronten. TBM:en är utrustad med borriggar från Atlas Copco som har möjlighet att använda sig av MWD-teknik (measure while drilling).

Högtempererat borrhålslager för fjärrvärme
The district heating load is seasonally dependent, with a low load during periods of high ambient temperature. Thermal energy storage (TES) has the potential to shift heating loads from winter to summer, thus reducing cost and environmental impact of District Heat production. In this study, a concept of high temperature borehole thermal energy storage (HT-BTES) together with a pellet heating plant for temperature boost, is presented and evaluated by its technical limitations, its ability to supply heat, its function within the district heating system, as well as its environmental impact and economic viability in Gothenburg, Sweden, a city with access to high quantities of waste heat.The concept has proven potentially environmentally friendly and potentially profitable if its design is balanced to achieve a good enough supply temperature from the HT-BTES. The size of the heat storage, the distance between boreholes and low borehole thermal resistance are key parameters to achieve high temperature. Profitability increases if a location with lower temperature demand, as well as risk of future shortage of supply, can be met.

Över och under pelarna svetsas plåtar fast för att öka den belastade arean och hindra brott i betongen.I detta examensarbete har därför en datormodell i programmet Excel framtagits. Modellen dimensionerar kantpelare i stål enligt Eurokoderna.

Husqvarna AB operates two warehouses located in the area of Jönköping. The most important task is to manage the large volume fluctuations during the peak season. DHL Exel Supply Chain (DESC) run the warehouses and the domestic transportations is outsourced to DHL Express. A number of forwarder agents are responsible for distributing the export gods. In the present situation a bottleneck occurs at the warehouse loading section, and the consequence is fulfill the time of delivery for all customer orders.

In this project, we are studying the material flow and the information flow of sample materials and the appurtenant report of deviation for the purpose to be able to suggest better solutions. The sample material, which is to be analysed, is to be continuously taken from the production flow. The purpose is to navigate the process by the results found by the analysis. Because of this, it's very important that both methods of analysis are ensured and that the sample material is representative for the production flow. However, even more importantly, is that activities and transportations, combined with both flows, must perform in a quick and correct way in order to maintain or improve Höganäs AB's competitive strength.According to reports are about 20 products per day not available, for loading, at the time of delivery.

Vid Masugn 3, SSAB Tunnplåt AB i Luleå, pågår arbete för att vidareförbättra råjärnets kvalitet genom minskad variation av Si och för att ytterligare minska förbrukningen av reduktionsmedel. För att få en ökad kunskap om tillståndet i den nedre delen av Masugn 3 utfördes i april 2004 en koksborrning ur tre av masugnens 32 formor. Försöken ingår i ett forskningsprojekt inom Jernkontorets forskningsprogram. Syftet med examensarbetet var att karaktärisera raceway och den döde mannen genom att studera borrkärnorna, processdata, koks från forma provtagen genom koksrakning, manuell mätning av racewaydjup och racewaydjupsmätning med radiometrisk utrustning. Till sist undersöktes bottentemperaturen tillsammans med andra parametrar, såsom råjärns- och slagganalyser och råjärnstemperatur, för att fastslå om den döde mannen var aktiv eller inaktiv.

Regional and Political Geography are explained as the relation between state and territory, power over the territory and the variables that affect the relations on different levels such as; economy, culture, technology, demography and communication.The author decided to use the quantitative method in the process of research, the essay underwent an overall analyzes of the media settings, articles, written literature and documentaries. The author has been very critical to the material and data that was presented by the American authorities, media and non governmental organisations.New Orleans City?s topography is unique in the matter that the city is constructed on a delta area, the Mississippi River, Missouri and Ohio River systems are all connected in New Orleans.
