The purpose of this essay is to look at how museums design their activities as tourist destinations through the dissemination of history. In order to research this problem we have posed the following questions: How do museums act in order to animate and interpret history? What does the future hold for the museums? In order to find the answers to these questions we have made a deep-going analysis of the activities of four museums, Nordiska Museet, Etnografiska Museet, Historiska Museet and Naturhistoriska Museet. These museums have been analyzed by means of interviews, observations and the study of documents. Our theoretical perspective is informed by a hermeneutic perspective as well as Foucault´s Definition of museums as institutions, and the concept of storytelling.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka det specialpedagogiska stödet för elever i matematiksvårigheter i en kommun i södra Sverige. Vi ville undersöka vilket synsätt som råder på skolorna när det gäller elever i matematiksvårigheter. Vi ville även leta efter goda exempel i arbetet med elever i matematiksvårigheter. I arbetet beskrivs olika forskning kring specialpedagogens roll och uppdrag samt olika sätt att se på matematiksvårigheter. Vi genomförde en enkätundersökning med öppna frågor där informanterna själv fick formulera sina svar.

Kreativitet i pedagogernas värld är en C-uppsats skriven av Katarina Svensson och Jesper Greve. De är båda fritidspedagogstuderande vid Malmöhögskola och är intresserade av hur kreativiteten används i skolan. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur några yrkesverksamma pedagoger ser på kreativitet och vilken betydelse kreativiteten har för pedagogerna och lärandet. Undersökningen utgår från tio kvalitativa intervjuer. Genom litteratur och styrdokument jämförs svaren med de analyserade intervjuerna.

Genom kriminalisering fastslår staten att ett visst beteende är önskvärt eller icke önskvärt.Syftet med detta är repressivt, att förhindra oönskat beteende; att försöka styra medborgarna till att undvika de kriminaliserade, oönskade, handlingarna. Vilket beteende somkriminaliseras är ett kriminalpolitiskt övervägande.Arbetet handlar om det subjektiva inslaget i straffrätten. Utvecklingen av personligt ansvar inom straffrätten har pågått under en längre tid, under inflytande av bland annat etiska diskussioner och den kristna kyrkans läror om skuld. Ett antal större straffrättsliga utredningar tillsattes för att modernisera först straffrätten i 1734 års lag och senare också 1864 års Strafflag. Någon Definition av uppsåt (dolus) och oaktsamhet (culpa) infördes dock inte i lagtext, inte heller i Brottsbalken.

AbstractThe purpose for writing this essay is to study the culture of kindness in the Church of Sweden, as the church constitutes as an idealistic organization (non-profit or voluntary organization).The focal point is on how such a culture affects the employees, and if any new componentsthat can amplify the concept can be distinguished.To do this a case study-design has been employed. The primary sources are qualitativeinterviews with six employees in a congregation in the Church of Sweden, and participantobservations on two different occasions at the same congregation.Theories of organizational sociology has been applied to the material, more specific Edgar HSchein?s Definition of organizational culture and the concept of a culture of kindness (derivingfrom a report by the Swedish Work Environment Authority) as a specific part of the church?sorganizational culture.The conclusions we can make from our study is that a culture of kindness affect employees inboth a positive and a negative way. There are many expectations that come with working inthe Church of Sweden, and these do have an effect on the work performed. There is alsoevidence pointing to the fact that leadership can counteract the fear of conflicts that otherwiseis associated with the culture of kindness.

The role-playing game attracts a growing number of practisers. The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine role-playing literature as phenomenon in libraries through librarians´ attitudes. The paper is based on qualitative interviews with eight librarians: one personal interview with two librarians and six e-mail interviews with six librarians at different libraries. The paper starts with a Definition of the term ?role-playing game?, its different categories and genres and a description of its background.

Den svenska hälso- och sjukvården har förändrats i takt med att välfärdssamhället har byggts ut sedan andra världskriget. Trender och modeller har påverkat styrning och organisering vilket har fått konsekvenser för arbetets utformning för dem som är verksamma inom området. Denna studie har, med hälso- och sjukvårdens förändring som bakgrund, undersökt hur personalfunktionens uppdrag förändrats i organisationen Landstinget i Uppsala län under drygt trettio år. Metoden har varit empirisk studie i form av intervjuer av individer som varit verksamma inom personalfunktionen i organisationen under en lång tid. Studien har lett fram till följande slutsatser:Personalfunktionen inom Landstinget i Uppsala län har under drygt trettio år gått från att vara administrativ till att vara en typ av expertfunktion.

Sweden is described as one of the most forward-thinking countries in the world when it comes to equal opportunities, yet still management is being dominated by men. Looking at entrepreneurship and gender, the author has written four herstories about female entrepreneurs working, through enterprise, to bring about change to the male domination of top level management. The primary purpose of this master's thesis has been to look at theories on entrepreneurship/ management and gender to analyse how the entrepreneurs relate to their roles as [i] entrepreneurs, [ii] agents of change, and [iii] women. The findings show that they attach particular emphasis to their roles as entrepreneurs. As regards the work for change, being female is described as both advantageous and irrelevant, or insufficient.

In Jan Jagers and Stefaan Walgrave theory about populism as a political communication-style they claim that one can find this in the rhetoric of political parties. In their study of Belgian politics they found that the extreme-right party Vlaams Block has embraced this populism to a larger extent than other parties. Based on this theory this thesis aims at finding populism as a communication-style in three different Swedish political parties with the purpose to see if the extreme-right party ?The Sweden Democrats? will show populism to a larger extent than other parties, as was the case in the Belgian study.Based on Jagers and Walgraves operational Definition of populism as a political communication-style this thesis applies it to the rhetoric of three different parties being ?The Social Democratic Party?, ?The Moderate Party? and ?The Sweden Democrats?. This is done in order to be able to clarify on the one hand if their theory is applicable to the Swedish case and on the other hand to what extent populism as a communication-style exists in Swedish political rhetoric.The method for this thesis has been a qualitative text analysis since and leads to the result that Jagers and Walgraves theory of populism as a communication-style is applicable to the Swedish case and that ?The Sweden Democrats? to a larger extent uses this political communication style, than the two other parties..

Det humanitärrättsliga skyddet för civila i konflikter har sedan dess tillkomst främst reglerat internationella konflikter, något som inte förändrats i takt med att konfliktbilden skiftat från att ha dominerats av internationella konflikter till att istället präglas av mer svårdefinierade, interna sådana. Först 1993 togs ett avgörande steg mot en breddning av skyddet då säkerhetsrådet instiftade International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, ICTY. Tribunalen vilken inte var avsedd att fungera lagstiftande kom detta till trots att skapa prejudikat i form av domen mot Tadic´, ett prejudikat, vilket kom att få två viktiga konsekvenser. Det gav upphov till en ny Definition av begreppet ?väpnad konflikt? och det ledde till att sedvanerätten tillskrevs större vikt.

The concept of domestic violence pertains to different Definitions of violence, one of which is the concept of honour related violence and oppression. This paper looks at honour related violence and oppression, as defined in policy documents at a central political level, and how various discourses stand in relation to social categories and power relations. Consequently, the theoretical and methodological premise of the paper has been based on discourse analysis and an intersectional perspective has been applied to gain further depth and breadth in the analysis of the material. The intersectional perspective houses various approaches to the understanding of specific phenomena based on factors of gender, ethnicity, sexuality and class. The analysis concludes that the concept of honour related violence and oppression is a concept without a single scientific Definition. There is, however, a general consensus in the political context that honour related violence and oppression is a collective force that can be directed at both sexes.

The purpose of this study is to, based on qualitative interviews with managers and group interviews with care providers, understand their interpretation of integrity and also their scope for action to satisfy disable people?s integrity at sheltered housing for adults. The questions of this study are: How do the managers and the care providers interpret the concept of integrity? Which scope for action do they have to satisfy the integrity of disabled people? Method: Individual ? and group interviews have been used as methods to gather empirical data. Theory: The theories of scope for action and integrity as a theoretical conception have been used to analyze the empirical material.

Participation is central to the concept of democracy. The role of the civic participation varies with different types of democracy, but a fundamental requirement is that the participation is free and equal. In spite of this, there are significant differences between possibilities to democratic participation in Sweden today.This essay seeks to understand how disability, historically and still today, is constructed as a social deviation from normality, and is constructed to Otherness.One way to regard freedom and equality is to examine the personal autonomy, the legth to wich a person decides her/his roles and activities in abcence of external limitations. Personal autonomy is theoretically central in deliberative and strong democracy, but should reasonobly be a demand for the fundamental Definition of democracy.The explanation to why the lack of personal autonomy is accepted, is that the construction of Otherness results in that the persons are categorized and are given simplified characteristics, and are thereby not accepted as equivalent people.In the inteviews conducted, seven politicians contribute both whiteness, pathological discourses regarding disability and ideas of normality through discussing democracy, participation and disability. Simultaniously, they express interest and an awareness on the majority's power and symbolic violence on the minority..

Den föreliggande studien syftar till att undersöka lärares förhållningssätt till individualisering i matematikundervisning. Utifrån detta syfte formulerades frågeställningar berörande lärares Definition av begreppet individualisering, individualiseringsätt i undervisning, vilka faktorer som styr detta samt möjligheter och begräsningar med individualisering. Vår insamlade data grundar sig på intervjuer med verksamma lärare i grundskolans tidigare år. Materialet tematiserades och analyserades utifrån våra teoretiska utgångspunkter; ramfaktorteorin samt Bernsteins begrepp klassifikation, inramning och kod. Resultatet påvisar en variation i Definitionen av begreppet individualisering, men generellt kopplar lärarna samman begreppet med att möta elevers olika kunskapsnivå och inlärningssätt i undervisningen.

The aim of the study was to describe lone mothers? experience of the contact with the Child Health Centre (CHC). The Definition of CHC in the study was the Child Health Centre?s daily activities, the child health nurse and the parent groups. The study had a descriptive design and eleven lone mothers from parent forums on the internet participated.
