The competition policy in the EU should guarantee that the competition is not distorted in the way that would prevent or create difficulties for the free mobility of goods and services between Member states. It is prohibited for companies to abuse their dominant position according to Article 82, if it affects trade. The essence of Article 82 is control of market power. The perfect competition results when supply and demand appoint the price and quantity of a product. Firms are encouraged to compete then it results in efficiency, quality products and lower prices.

One of the most commonly used methods for analysis of polyphenols is the Folin-Ciocalteu (FC) method, where the FC reagent has been reported to interfere with some substances in fruit juices. The interfering substance that is present in the highest amount in most fruit juices is ascorbic acid. In this study, the total phenolic content (TPC) of three fruit juices was analysed by the FC method as well as with an enzymatic method with hydrogen peroxide oxidoreductase type II (HRP) for comparison. To investigate how the interfering ascorbic acid affects the TPC, juice samples were analysed after removal and addition, respectively, of ascorbic acid. The samples were analysed with HPLC both before and after the extraction phase of the FC method.

The aim of this undergraduate thesis was to explore how the welfare officers at palliative units in Stockholm respond to the patients? thoughts and experiences during the last phase of life, as well as exploring their picture of the patients experiences. The research questions of the study were:? How do the welfare officers relate to the patients? experience of their death? ? In what way do the welfare officers respond to the dying patient and his or her experiences?? What knowledge/experience do the welfare officers have and what knowledge/experience do they consider is needed in their profession?To answer the research questions a qualitative method was used where five welfare officers in three different palliative units were interviewed. The empirical material was analysed through meaning concentration and are presented using exact quotations.

I detta examensarbete tar vi upp hur vi gått till väga i genomförandet av Alive Festival -09. Vi har jobbat genom den ideella föreningen KF LIVE (Se definition) som fungerar som arrangörsgrupp i Skövde. Vi tar upp frågor som rör ekonomi, marknadsföring samt det egentliga arbete som krävs under festivaldagen. Under arbetets gång har vi hunnit införskaffa information, reflekterat över den och till sist använt oss av den när vi faktiskt genomfört festivalen. Festivalen som hölls under nio timmar innefattar tre scener med femton lokala som internationella band.

Bakgrund och problem: IASB och FASB misstänker att det kan finnas incitament blandföretag som gör det svårt för dem att göra en neutral klassificering av operationell ochfinansiell leasingavtal enligt IAS 17. Eftersom förslaget i utkastet till leasingredovisning kan ledatill att de ekonomiska flöden som redovisas påverkas, kan det finnas incitament blandintressenter att försöka påverka utformningen av förslaget till standarden genom att utvecklaväl definierade argument i sina remissvar som är till fördel för denne.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilken åsikt remissinstanser har i sina remissvartill IASBs utkast om leasing, ED/2010/9, och vilka stödjande argument som framförs iremissinstansernas remissvar till utkastet.Metod: För att kunna kartlägga åsikter och stödjande argument som framförs avremissinstanser via sina remissvar till utkastets ska författarna utgå ifrån en kvantitativinnehållsanalys samt en kvalitativ textanalys.

The European Water Framework Directive (WFD; 2000/60/EC) was incorporated into the Swedish legislation in 2004 through the ordinance Förordningen om förvaltningenav kvaliteten på vattenmiljön (SFS 2004:660). The objective is that all water bodies shall reach a good status by the year 2015. In Sweden the comprehensive plans of the municipalities can play a large role in reaching these goals. A comprehensive plan deals with the long term water and land use of the municipality, which can facilitate an early consideration of water management in the planning process of the municipality. In Sweden five river basin districts have been established in accordance with the Water Framework Directive.

Syftet med vår studie har varit att undersöka hur personalen på BUP beskriver självskadeproblematik och om det finns skillnader kopplade till kön. Våra frågeställningar har fokuserat på hur de professionella definierar begreppet självskadebeteende och vilka de beskriver skadar sig själva samt anledningarna till detta. Vi har även varit intresserade av att undersöka hur eventuella skillnader mellan könen beskrivs och hur personalen bemöter patienter med en självskadeproblematik utifrån kön. Vi har använt en kvalitativ forskningsansats, där vi sammanlagt har intervjuat åtta professionella verksamma inom BUP i Göteborg med omnejd. Vid analysförfarandet har vi använt en diskursanalytisk metodansats med socialkonstruktionism som teoretisk referensram som hjälp vid analysarbetet.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien var att undersöka hur elever i grundskolans senare år upplever friluftslivsundervisningen i ämnet idrott och hälsa och huruvida upplevelsen skiljer sig för elever i stad respektive på landsbygd. Följande frågeställningar har använts: Hur tolkar och förklarar eleverna begreppet friluftsliv? Vad upplever eleverna att de gör under friluftslivsundervisningen och vad får de lära sig? Vad gör eleverna på friluftsdagarna och vilka aktiviteter ingår? Finns det någon skillnad i upplevelsen av friluftsliv och friluftslivsundervisningen mellan elever från en landsbygdsskola och i en storstad? Hur ser de lokala styrdokumenten ut för ämnet idrott och hälsa på respektive skola?MetodTvå intervjuer, så kallade fokusgruppsintervjuer, med tre elever från en landsbygdsskola respektive tre elever från en innerstadsskola har genomförts. Samtliga elever går i år nio på kommunala grundskolor. Även de båda skolornas arbetsplan för ämnet idrott och hälsa har granskats.

In 1999 the childbearing increased, which in combination with the closure of a number ofpreschools led to the shortage and reduced capacity in available places for youngchildren. The lack of places in preschools has led us to try to find a solution to theproblem and in order to solve the problem we have interviewed personnel of preschoolsin Halmstad. The persons we met were asked to list advantages and disadvantages oftheir preschool and also to come up with innovative solutions and new ideas of how todevelop a satisfactory preschool. This was the basis for us when we drew our drawingsand our main objective was to find a new template for the development of pre-fabricatedpreschools.When drawing a new and modern preschool a number of considerations have to be made,first of all the main objective for the children is play and playtime, a second objective issound reduction and laws about sound reduction. Another consideration is how toconstruct the building and which method to be used, for instance should industrialtechniques be considered and pros and cons be listed.The main disappointment amongst the preschool personnel was that they had noinfluence in the planning stage of the new development of the preschool.

The purpose of this paper is to try to get an understanding of the underlying causes and reasons that students starting in seventh grade junior high school seek out a particular group, and the extent to which they do so.The work is based on the questions: How do students perceive the meeting with their prospective bench-companion in a new composite class? What should a teacher consider when it comes to bench placement in a new composite class? Do the students change, and if so to what extent, friends when they start high school? What are the factors that affect/have affected the students' choice of friends? How large a role does the school play for pupils relationships? What thoughts and feelings do the students have regarding new encounters?I have conducted in-depth interviews with six adolescents in grade seven as the basis for the understanding of how students relate to group selection and group affiliation, and I have then compared this material with previous research on the subject. Furthermore I have availed myself of literature in social- and group psychology.The conclusion which has emerged is that the most important component of a group-process is the sense of solidarity and security, and the results show that students largely retain their old relationships rather than adding new, when they start high school. Hence the teacher plays an important role in ensuring that any imbalance in the group is offset and make sure that nobody is excluded, but also to help make room for new groups and be aware of the sensitive and responsive phase of life that the young people are in..

Den här litteraturstudien fördjupar sig i hur forskningen beskriver samarbete inom gymnasieskolans teaterämne. Genom att undersöka hur aktuell forskning diskuterar samarbete inom teaterundervisningen vill studien erbjuda en utökad förståelse för olika aspekter av samarbete i skolans teaterämne. Studien visar att forskningen huvudsakligen ser samarbete i teaterämnet som viktigt och användbart, och olika aspekter av samarbete utkristalliserar sig. Styrdokumenten nämner frekvent samarbete, men en utvecklad definition saknas. En fördjupad förståelse för samarbetets olika aspekter skulle ge teaterlärare både verktyg i det praktiska arbete och underlätta betygsättning..

Modern missiles must meet higher and higher demands. They should be autonomous, have long range and still have a big effect on the target. To maximize effect on target some missiles not only minimize miss distance, but also try to hit with a certain angle; often perpendicular to the surface of the target. In this thesis a method to guide the missile in the terminal phase of its mission where both point of impact as angle of impact are specified. The method consist of two parts.

The Private Equity industry has over the past years been booming and major external environmental changes have made the industry transform rapidly. Increased competition between Private Equity firms is one of the reasons why the industry has been and is being forced to focus more on addition of value through increased operational management. Consequently, the focus of value addition is by some said to be transferred away from deal making and financial skills, and into active operative management. This case study investigates how the portfolio management, and more specifically the measuring and management of performance, is carried out in a number of leading Swedish Private Equity funds with investments in the biotech sector. The biotech sector is characterized by extensive research and development, and many biotech companies often lack income and other measurable financial parameters in the initial phase.
