Research and Development-costs constitutes an important part in contemporary companies. R&D are treated differently depending on their definition and how the historic value is decided. The main goal for this essay is to bring clarity to how the definiton of the term R&D is decided in accounting as well as in tax law. Another goal is to decide how the historic value is calculated. It is also interesting to examine under which circumstances the costs can be activated in the balance sheet, and under which circumstances deduction for the R&D-costs may be allowed.

The concept of function represents a major part of mathematics and becomes more significant in school during high school. Throughout history, it has been a difficult concept to define and may create challenges for contemporary students. This literature study aims to identify students' difficulties with the concept of function, as well as to account for how the definition of a function has evolved historically. The literature study has been conducted through database searches in ERIC, Education Research Complete and MathSciNet via EBSCOhost, as well as through chain searching. The study results in identifying that students' difficulties with the concept of function primarily include the graphical and algebraic forms of representation.

SammanfattningHemsedal är en turistdestination mellan Bergen och Oslo, Norge. Deras vision är att vara Skandinaviens mest attraktiva resmål för fjällsport och unika kulturupplevelser. Att söka skapa en hållbar turismutveckling, genom en enhetlig definition av begreppet samt genom lämpliga verktyg, anser författarna är av betydelse för Hemsedal. Detta för att vara konkurrenskraftiga nog till att göra anspråk på titeln Skandinaviens mest attraktiva resmål, samt för en fortlevnad av destinationen. Hemsedal bör vara ekonomisk, ekologisk samt sociokulturellt långsiktigt hållbar.

The aim of this study is to learn about the nineteenth century poor relief system, how itoperated in the rural parish Kristdala during the period 1881-1890, and not least, who was thesupported person? The poor are defined as the individuals that received public poor relief, but in onechapter this definition of poverty is contrasted with a definition based upon tax exemption:inability to pay taxes. Two villages have been selected for intensive study, namely Kroxhult and Calerum, and Calerum is the smaller one. The connection between age and the poverty ratio is clear, and tobe a lodger was especially disadvantageous with respect to poverty. Further the position ofwidow was the most unfavourable among the female poor people.

Objective: The aim of the study is to describe pupils' understanding of the mathematical concept of function. How do pupils define the concept of function? What images of the concept of function evoke when they solve tasks, which involve identifying and constructing functions?Theory: A student's thinking about a mathematical concept depends on more than just the formal definition of the concept; therefore Tall and Vinner introduce the term concept image to describe the role cognitive structures play when students learn about concepts. The cognitive structure includes all mental images, associated properties and processes that an individual associates with a given concept. According to Sfard, an individual's understanding of mathematical concepts may have different character: an operational conception, where a concept is conceived as a process and a structural conception, where the given concept is conceived as an object, that is, as a whole.Method: 16 pupils at the Science Program at two different upper secondary schools inSweden answered a questionnaire on the mathematical concept of function.

SammanfattningBegreppet slöseri, av engelskans waste, är en term som i dagsläget saknar en klar och entydig definition inom mjukvaruutveckling. Denna rapport har skrivits vid Kungliga Teniska Högskolan i Stockholm och syftar att klargöra termen slöseri och vad den innebär men hjälp av olika projektledningsverktyg från IT-branchen. Det har framkommit att förtag sällan jobbar med en och endast en projektledningsmetod inom mjukvaruutveckling utan det blandas verktyg från olika metoder. Det är ofta brist på kunskap om valda verktyg och hur de ska användas samt vilka olika verktyg som kompletterar varandra eller ej är kompatibla med varandra. En ökad medvetenhet kring valda modeller och verktyg skulle leda till ökad effektivitet och minskat slöseri.

Objektivitet i journalistiken är viktigt för demokratin, men i rapporteringen om Sverigedemokraterna finns det mycket osäkerhet. Detta påverkar bilden väljarna får av SD. Syftet med denna studie är att granska objektiviteten i Dagens Nyheter och Hallandspostens konstruktion av Sverigedemokraterna kring valet 2014. Här används Westerståhls definition av objektivitetsbegreppet för att svara på om rapporteringen var sann, relevant, balanserad och neutral. Det diskuteras även om nyhetsrapportering kan sägas vara objektiv utan att uppfylla alla fyra kategorier.

The aim of this Master's thesis is to examine the contemporary educational tasks of the Swedish public library as they manifest in Swedish library journals. Our main question at issue is: Which educational discourses are there? And in relation to our main question: how do the concepts of information literacy, lifelong learning and adult education relate to each other? Is there an antagonism between the public library's duty to supply fiction as opposed to non-fiction? and: What are the consequences of these discourses in the service provided by the library?Our theoretical starting-point is the discourse theory as proposed by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. We analyse 39 texts from four Swedish library journals: Ikoner, bis, DIK-forum and Biblioteksbladet. The analysis is done in two phases.

Sammanfattning Bristen på omvårdnadsforskning gällande anorexia nervosa är stor, det är därför viktigt att denna sjukdom uppmärksammas mer. Studiens syfte har varit att belysa hur kvinnor med anorexia nervosa beskriver livskvalitet under sjukdomstiden. Studien har genomförts som en litteraturstudie där resultatet bygger på tre skönlitterära böcker som kvinnorna själva skrivit. Som teoretisk referensram har Lawtons definition på livskvalitet används då denna definition stämmer överens med författarnas syn på begreppet livskvalitet. Resultatet uppmärksammade följande kategorier som viktiga för kvinnornas livskvalitet; längtan efter närhet, den dyrbara fritiden, störd autonomi och brist på empati, kamp om renhet, omgivningens brist på förståelse, flykt från verkligheten, trygghet genom sjukdomen, samt sjukdomsinsikt.

Metso Paper offers a front-running range of solutions and services for the pulp and paper industry. At the baling unit, design solutions are developed for manufacturing and handling of pulp bales. The machines are continuously developed to satisfy customer needs. One big step in the development of the baling line was to remove hydraulics from the machines and replace it with electrical motors and pneumatics. This was not done on the folding machine which is still driven by mainly hydraulics.

Wooded pastures are common in the agricultural landscape in Sweden, often rich in naturaland cultural values. It is not a well confined biotope but consist of a semi-open landscapewith a complex pattern and wide variation of tree and shrub coverage. The values in thewooded pastures have been created through a long history of management.One major threat to wooded pastures is ceasing management. Yearly and intensive grazinghas been demanded for several years in order to receive economical support. At the sametime trees and bushes have often been regarded as vegetal invasion.

During the past 10 years Sweden has updated its penal code for sexual crimes twice. Despite this few are convicted for the crime of rape in Sweden. As the majority of perpetrators being male, this is a problem concerning women?s rights to respect for their bodies and personal integrity. A possible explanation, and this study?s point of departure is a potential discrepancy between the intention of the law and the interpretation of the same as the Swedish legal system rests on a foundation of legal positivism.

Denna studie ämnade studera sambandet mellan självinsikt, attributioner och relationskvalité. Tidigare studier har visat att det finns ett tydligt samband mellan attributioner och relationskvalité. Vårt syfte var att expandera och replikera detta fynd och placera in det i ett större sammanhang, kultur-relationskedjan, där även självinsikt och kultur ingår. Femtiosex personer (28 par), majoriteten studenter, deltog i studien som utfördes individuellt i enkätform. Resultatet visade på en replikering av tidigare fynd i sambandet mellan attributioner och relationskvalité (r(56)=-0,320, p < 0,05).

This study examines whether or not there are inherit flaws in Swedish legislation concerning psychiatric institutional care, or in the application of the act, which might lead to the failure of rule of law for the private citizen. Law (1991:1128) concerning psychiatric institutional care in certain instances (LPIC) aims to establish rules which will ensure rule of law for the mentally ill in case of psychiatric institutional care. Despite this, there are legal cases which indicate that these rules, and their implications, are not always considered at the psychiatric wards.The questions at issues which this study aims to answer are thus: Are there any deficiencies concerning rule of law in LPIC 2?3 §§, 4?6 §§, 7?10 §§,15?25 §§ and 32?33 §§ ? This section focuses on LPIC and its design. Whether or not the act adheres to rule of law is examined through a definition which has evolved through discussions of concept based in Peczeniks definition of rule of law.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur enkäter riktade till patienter och anhöriga i palliativ hemsjukvård uppmärksammar sociala aspekter ? i enlighet med WHO:s definition av en värdig vård. Mot bakgrund av statens utredning om värdig vård vid livets slut, som påpekar att utvärderingen av palliativ vård är eftersatt och att bemötandet utgör en viktig social aspekt för vårdkvaliteten, ställdes tre frågor: Vad menar WHO med ?sociala aspekter??, Vilka frågor ställs i enkäter inom palliativ hemsjukvård?, Hur följer enkätfrågorna upp bemötandet? För att besvara syftet genomfördes litteraturstudier, telefonsamtal samt en kvantitativ och kvalitativ undersökning, där 345 enkätfrågor som används i palliativ hemsjukvård inom Stockholms läns landsting bearbetades. Två teoretiska utgångspunkter prövades för att identifiera sociala aspekter: WHO:s definition av värdig vård och KUPP-modellens värdefaktorer.
