Mobbning är ett problem som framför allt finns i skolans miljö och som kan leda till allvarliga konsekvenser för alla inblandade. Då begreppet har olika definitioner, kan det dessutom vara svårt att upptäcka. Den svenska skolan är obligatorisk och det förebyggande arbetet mot mobbning som där bedrivs är därför viktigt. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur en skola definierar begreppet mobbning och om det påverkar det arbetssätt som används för att motverka mobbning. Undersökningen ägde rum på en grundskola med årskurserna F-6, där individuella intervjuer genomfördes med rektorn och två av skolans pedagoger.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the design and function of an engine production management?s control system and its intended function, and to contrast it with the present management control systems in use on an operational level. Interviews conducted with employees from all levels of the engine production are the main source of this study?s empirical foundation. Information has also been gathered from relevant written material such as annual reports, internal documents etc.

The term Temporary places could be used to describe a wide range of shapes, functions and not least different time sets . In this thesis, however, the intention of temporality should be seen as the main definition regarding this subject. This thesis is based on a literature study and the aim is to explore temporary places, their values and their functions. Furthermore, the purpose is also to highlight temporary places as a method to be used by urban planners, in order to create more flexibility in the city planning of today. The thesis describes the underlying factors and conditions creating an increased interest in flexible planning. Furthermore, a number of tactics and applications are presented, all drawn from current research on the topic.

Upplevd likhet med målpersonen har ansetts vara viktig för empati och viss forskning har visat att empatin ökar med upplevd etnisk sam-hörighet. Denna studies primära syfte var att experimentellt undersöka om svenska och icke-svenska deltagare kände olika mycket empati beroende på målpersonens etnicitet samt upplevd likhet med mål-personen. Majoriteten av de 160 deltagarna rekryterades från Mälar-dalens högskola, varav 102 var svenska och 84 var kvinnliga. Resultatet visade två signifikanta disordinala interaktioner där svenska deltagare kände signifikant mer empati och upplevd likhet med en svensk än icke-svensk målperson, medan icke-svenska inte visade signifikant mer empati eller upplevd likhet med en icke-svensk än svensk målperson. Ingen signifikant skillnad i empati fanns mellan äldre och yngre deltagare.

The subject of this study is conflict management. The purpose of this paper is to examine how teachers deal with conflicts between pupils in primary education. The purpose is also to get more insight on what a conflict is and show different strategies to manage conflicts. To learn about how teachers deal with conflicts between pupils in primary school, I chose to do interviews. I interviewed four teachers. In the interviews we talked about: their definition of what a conflict is, what kind of conflict that are most common, and how common it is with conflicts in the school which they work at, how they handle conflicts between students, how they believe that they manage conflicts, if they have received any training or education in conflict management and if the school they work at have any special guidelines for handling conflicts. My questions are: How do the teachers think about their own involvement in students' conflict management? How do the teachers think about which types of conflicts that can be difficult to manage? The result of the study is that the teachers often let students handle conflicts themselves and they think it is good for them to do it because it is a knowledge that we humans need have.

Ett fenomen som blivit allt vanligare på senare år är instiftandet av ?bounties?. Med ?bounties? menas att en belöning utfästs i form av ekonomisk kompensation till den person eller de personer som utför utvecklingsarbete inom fri och öppen programvara (F/OSS). Syftet med undersökningen är att studera upplevelser och känslor kringanvändningen av ?bounties? från ett utvecklarperspektiv.

Lund who has over 90 systems in 12 departments and now wants to streamline the management of these IT systems. Governance of IT systems is something that Lund would treat as it carried a large amount of changes in their practices, where the control is something missed in trying to standardize their systems. What's missing for Lund Municipality is routine to fall back on in order to streamline the management when they get into these complex situations.Given that Lund treat so many systems make it so that the situation quickly becomes very complex due of the organization's structure. The municipality is divided into twelve departments that have their own goals, it is an organization that is organized, which makes creating standards become complicated when all departments have different needs. Our study was based on a framework that deals with complex environments that lack a clear definition.An analysis was conducted where we started from the theory associated with the interviews conducted in which we aimed to understand their decision and understand the processes that affect system development.

De symboler som en gång upplevdes som autentiska har blivit globaliserade och den traditionella souvenirens autenticitet ifrågasätts därför i dagens samhälle. Det finns således skäl till att diskutera hur giltiga de existerande definitionerna av souveniren verkligen är bland dagens och morgondagens resenärer ? åttiotalisterna.Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka souvenirens mening och innebörd bland åttiotalister.Med en kvalitativ metod genomfördes, med hjälp av snöbollstekniken, tio enskilda djupintervjuer med personer födda mellan 1982 och 1985. Dessa intervjuer tolkades från en hermeneutisk ansats. Åttiotalisters syn på souveniren överrensstämmer inte med de existerande definitionerna. Istället för att se en souvenir som ett föremål med uppenbar och synlig koppling till platsen har den emotionella aspekten blivit viktigare.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine which role public libraries play or could play within bibliotherapy. The study is based on qualitative interviews with five librarians who, in one way or another have experienced bibliotherapy activities. Further, we have interviewed two treatment assistants and one counsellor, who have cooperated with the librarians, to get their view. We have used the following research questions: Which bibliotherapeutic activities, if any, are pursued in public libraries in Sweden, and how do they look upon bibliotherapy? What role do public libraries play/could play within bibliotherapy? Ever since the term bibliotherapy was coined in the beginning of the twentieth century, the definition has been under debate. We have identified four main subjects of discussion.

The aim of this master's thesis is a comparative study on units for civic information in Göteborg. The study is based on a project currently in progress at the main public library in Göteborg. It is observed that according to the library's mission statement the library aims to become the most competent intermediary of civic information in Göteborg. This statement suggests a competitive strategy towards other intermediaries of civic information. The mission statement does, however, also state that their goal is to be obtained in cooperation with other intermediaries.

Purpose: The study aims to increase knowledge of dealers' purchasing behavior of impulse goods in wholesale trade.Methodology: An exploratory survey method has been selected in order to investigate the relatively unexplored topic; buyer behavior of impulse goods in the wholesale. Data has been collected through interview of 27 dealers that conduct business with bulk confectionery sales across Sweden. A semi-structured interview technique has been selected, with a predetermined interview schedule but with space for follow-up questions and discussion.Conclusion: The background to this work argued that there is not much research on how retailers reasons when buying convenience products, or also called as impulse items. It is usually the sale of goods such as several of the informants believe is critical to their business existence. Impulse goods which do not require any effort, has little search time and usually are cheap and suits many customers pockets.

Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka hur lärare för olika åldersgrupper arbetar för att främja ett lustfyllt lärande som barnen/eleverna är motiverade att delta i, som ett led i att förstå varför barnen/elevernas lustfyllda lärande och motivation minskar efterhand som de blir äldre. Vad är det lärarna upplever påverkar barnen/elevernas lustfyllda lärande och motivation? För att svara på de frågorna har en undersökning gjorts av lärarnas definition av lustfyllt lärande och motivation, lärarnas arbetssätt i förhållande till ett sociokulturellt perspektiv (lek, läroböcker, barn-/elevantal i gruppen, tid, föräldrasamverkan) respektive ett biologiskt perspektiv (inträdet i puberteten) samt lärarnas erfarenheter av vad deras barn/elever upplever lustfyllt och motiverande. Fyra lärare har intervjuats, en lärare på en småbarnsavdelning, en lärare i en förskoleklass, en lärare i skolår tre samt en lärare verksam i både skolår ett, två och sex. Undersökningen visar att flera faktorer påverkar barnen/elevernas minskade lustfyllda lärande och motivation i takt med att de blir äldre men att användandet av läroböcker samt i vilken utsträckning och på vilket sätt leken används som ett redskap för lärandet är de faktorer som har tydligast påverkan..

The purpose of this article is to explore the technologies of government that are created within gender disorder assessments as an institution. I have done so by utilizing Norman Faircloughs discourse analysing instrument ?communicative action?, which focus on the social institution as relational.The material is strategically chosen by gathering texts from the Swedish state, the psychiatric clinics, NGO:s and by performing interviews with transsexual patients.When analysing the communication of the main agents, I have concluded that practices highly are a result of repeating text and speech inside the institution. The psychiatric assessments can also be seen as an illustration in changes in how citizens are governed in advanced liberal societies, where the role of the state has been gradually reduced in favour of other agents.I consider that the change illustrates an ?acting at a distance?-mentality where the patient is introduced to participate in the definition of the care in what I call ?negotiation as a technology?.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att hitta en innovativ definition av begreppet interna kunder samt föreslå en implementeringsstrategi för en av den svenska matvarugrossisten ICAs lagerenheter. Vi har nått våra slutsatser genom kreativa studiebesök, interaktiva intervjuer, en innovativ workshop och litteraturstudier. Vi har utgått från leanfilosofin och teorier om kulturer, förtroende och kommunikation i organisationer. Inom samtliga områden har vi stött på kopplingar till inre och yttre effektivitet. Under intervjuerna upptäckte vi att ICA står inför vissa utmaningar när det gäller de anställdas förtroende, kommunikation och individualistiska tankesätt.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och beskriva både gymnasieungdomars och skolpersonalens attityder till användningen av svärord i skolmiljön. För att besvara syfte och frågeställningar har jag valt utföra en enkätundersökning som skickats till elever och skolpersonal på en västsvensk gymnasieskola.Det är inte oproblematiskt att hitta en definition av begreppet svordom som skulle accepteras av alla. Svordomar kan beskrivas som tabubelagda kraftuttryck av religiöst ursprung, eller som uttryck som kan innehålla könsord och andra hädelser.Resultaten av enkätundersökningen visar att det finns skillnader i attityder till svordomar i respektive grupper. Majoriteten av personalen och majoriteten av manliga elever hyser inte positiva känslor till svordomar. Fler kvinnor än män upplever att det svärs för mycket i skolan.
