The purpose of our study is to see how an organization, and also a administrative authority, communicates by using social media. The organization in this case is the Swedish Police, because of their paradoxical problem with confidentiality versus openness and transparency. The Police has over a hundred Facebook-accounts, where they try to have a open dialogue with their publics without breaking the law of secrecy. Our general purpose of the study is also to see what the pros and cons are of having a own media channel, instead of the traditional media and their often anticipation twists.The result of the study showed that the three different police precincts, which we investigated in our essay, are working in three different ways. The gap may affect their overall reputation and trust gained by their publics.

Uppsaten handlar om hur mössor används i ungdomars identitetsskapande, både i tal och agerande. Genom att studera bruket av mössor framgår hur ungdomar både formar persnoliga och kollektiva identiteter. I anslutning till Erwing Goffmans rollteori diskuteras också vikten av att både elever och lärare delar uppfattning om vilken region man befinner sig i för att kinflikter om exempelvis ytterkläder ska kunna undvikas. We where asked to write a webapplication, with similar functionalityas an existing desktop application. The application can todayrecord sounds from a person, mix it together at the optimal place withanother, similar sound and play back the result.The application used mathematical calculation that the developerswhere not familiar with, therefore it was decided to focus on the partsthat involved recording and playing sound, to pave the way for anyfuture implementation.The follwing prototypes where implemneted:1. Read a sound clip from a file.2. Splicing of two sound clips at different points in the clips.3. Generate the sound of a guitar.The result of this evaluation is that web browsers today are notready for this type of application, but that there is potetial as soonas W3C have standardised the use of a microphone as a source to theexisting DSP functions..

Detta arbete beskriver en examensuppsats i datateknik på Linnéuniversitetet.Röntgenavdelningen på SUS, Skånes Universitetssjukhus i Lund, använder en lättviktig flyttbar röntgenmaskin som väger endast cirka 90 kg, för röntgenundersökningar ute på äldreboenden.Bilderna överförs till sjukhusets PACS när maskinen är tillbaka på sjukhuset, genom att man kopplar in Dragon via kabel till sjukhusets nätverk.Målsättningen är att förbättra den trådlösa kommunikationen som för närvarande är för långsam och opålitlig, så att bilderna kan överföras till sjukhusets PACS direkt efter undersökningen.I detta arbete beskrivs vilka alternativ som kan användas.Samt om de mobila bredbandstjänster som finns tillgängliga i Region Skåne är bra nog för att kunna användas för uppgiften.Slutsatsen är att ett 3G HSDPA/HSUPA abonnemang kan vara tillförlitligt nog.Framför allt om extra redundans tillförs med dubbla SIM-kort som använder separata nät och att signalen förstärks med antenn placerad utomhus på transportfordonet.Transportfordonet används som brygga mellan Wifi och mobilt nätverk.Röntgenmaskinen kommunicerar med transportfordonet via Wifi.För de fall Wifi inte fungerar på grund av byggnader och omgivande miljö arbetades ett reservalternativ fram.Jag har också undersökt och jämfört DICOM protokollet mot FTP.Detta för att se om DICOM har en overhead som skulle motivera användet av FTP istället för sändning av bilder. Resultatet av jämförelsen visade att DICOM har 5-10 % overhead jämfört med FTP..

AbstractWe are with this paper trying to identify some factors that have an influence on youths mental health. Our theoretical starting points are about how school, family, work, individualization, media and lifestyle effect youths mental health. This paper is based on three deep interviews and former reports. The result show how individualization in the community cause insecurity and the family band are breaking up more than before. Youth?s health effects negative by the ability to not get a job.

Detta examensarbete har bedrivits som en kapacitetsundersökning inom Skanska Sverige AB, Region Väg och Anläggning Örebro och Södermanlands län. Genom intervjuer har ett underlag skapats som sedan har legat till grund för den analys som har syftat till att försöka lyfta fram eventuella skillnader i uppfattning mellan olika yrkeskategorier beträffande kapaciteten.Analysen av underlaget visar att det finns skillnader i uppfattningen, vad avser den aktuella frågeställningen, inom och mellan företagets yrkesgrupper. En av de tydligare tendenserna är att kalkylatorerna sätter lägre kapaciteter än vad yrkesarbetare och produktionschefer anser vara normalt..

Since a few years back television has been on a verge of an enormous digital change. Web-TV is now growing at an incredible rate and is said to completely change the way we consume TV. The purpose of this essay is to determine and gain an understanding of how representatives of the broadcast industry looks at the phenomenon of web-TV and especially the different kinds of online video services and how they believe this will affect the television. Methods used are qualitative interviews which we compared with previous studies on the subject and acknowledged communication theories. The respondents were people with good insight and understanding of the media and TV industry.

Internet and digital technology has changed the way we live our lives. As individuals we've found new ways to communicate, educate and experience. But what's the effect on B2B marketing? Previous research presents transactional benefits such as lower costs and easier access to information, but there is limited research done on more complex and long term relationships as well as on modern digital tools. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether a deeper long term B2B relationship can be created and nurtured using digital tools for communication, and if so, how these tools and processes can be described and understood.

De flesta samhällen i världen är idag påverkade av nyliberala strömningar vilka består av en önskan om en fri marknad utan ingripande från staten. I detta ingår att människan bör frigöras från alla reglerande faktorer i samhället, vilket tar sig uttryck på flera sätt. Ett av dem är ökat fokus på tillväxt och marknadsföring vilket inte bara påverkar företag utan också kommuner och regioner vilka allt mer måste konkurrera mot varandra om befolkning, företag och turister. I denna uppsats undersöks hur en region, i detta fall regionen Jämtland, använder sig av mat som ett regionalt utvecklingsverktyg. Jag har valt att undersöka ett projekt där offentliga och privata aktörer samarbetar för att utveckla Jämtland som en matregion. Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur aktörerna jobbar, vilka föreställningar de har om mat samt vad de vill uppnå med detta projekt.

This composition is an qualitative study about unemployment and working life. The point of the study has been to make a larger understanding how unemployment can perceive by the individual and how this person can see and plan for future working life. This has been study with help from 8 intervirws. The paticipants has been umeployed between  6 months and 5 years, and they have workt arleast 5 year before the unemployment.The study has show that it is many different components who contribute to how the individual perceive the time in unemployment and how the planning for the future looks like. The persons who has been intervirws perceive their psycal health as god,, even but unemployment.  The study has even show that all the persons in the study want to come out from the unemployment.

Survey's purpose is to illustrate why and how the process happened when Piteå relocated its commercial port away from Skuthamn to the new construction on Haraholmen 1950-1973. How decision-makers worked to achieve their goals, how the work changed and what incentives motivated them to act. The results showed that the decision was taken not to retain the existing commercial port in large part due to Skuthamns physics attributes, which made it impossible to ship large deep vessels from there. The reason that the decision about the port took such a long time was due to a local political conflict which was based on interest in the ownership of Haraholmen. The reason for the location of the trading port became Haraholmen had political backgrounds.

This study aims to find out what happens with the roles that are seemingly left behind. Are there roles that are harder or easier to exercise? Available roles with us through life and affect our future decisions or we switched completely away from them and create new roles based on the situations we find ourselves in at the moment? The aim is also to see how the relationship looks like between closed roles and new roles in life. To try to find this out, I have used the narrative method. The study is based largely on Goffman's theories of roles, behind and above the front- and back stage.

The purpose with this study was to investigate the client?s experience of Marte meo treatment and the procedure in the treatment from a responses and relational perspective, since the treatment occur within the social service frame. The theoretical framework consists of some central concepts. The concepts are experience of treatment, responses and relational perspective. The analysis of the empirical material has been carried out with the help of the concepts and earlier research.The method consisted of qualitative, semi-structured interviews with six informants.
