The main purpose with this essay is to evaluate how the characters of the sexually deviated was discussed during the sexual political Debate in the 1960s, and if those apprehensions were reflected in SOU 1976:9 concerning sexual abuse. Furthermore, my prime intention will be to compare the reconstructed historical context, alias the sexual political Debate, with the analyzed document, with the purpose to explicate why the anticipated political action weren?t sanctioned and implemented by the parliament. The analysis is carried out through a methodology that retrieves its primal premises from Quentin Skinners theories regarding the history of ideas. My most essential conclusions would be that there in fact existed an equivalence regarding the ideological framework between the radical axioms that was conceived during the sexual political Debate and the stipulations that was formulated in the document.

Surrogatmödraskap: Arbete, gudagåva eller exploatering? : En analys av den svenska debatten kring surrogatmödraskap

Surrogacy is an arrangement in which a woman carries, delivers, and then relinquishes a baby to commissioning parents. The arrangement challenges traditional norms and definitions of reproduction, pregnancy and motherhood, and at the same time raises difficult ethical, philosophical and social questions. There is currently an ongoing Debate in Sweden, where all forms of surrogacy is illegal. The Debate is polemical and harsh, with advocates arguing that surrogacy is defensible on the basis of individual rights and women's right to choose over their own bodies, and those in opposition are convinced on an intersectional basis that women are being used and exposed on the market of surrogacy. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Debate on surrogacy in the Swedish context. Using qualitative text analysis, the study aims to increase understanding about the Debate over surrogacy by analyzing texts published in Swedish press during 2010-2013.

Neutralitet med förhinder : En undersökning i hur bilden av Sveriges neutralitetspolitik under andra världskriget har förändrats i läroböcker i historia

Sweden?s role during the Second World War has been a matter that has been under much Debate since the war?s end in 1945. The Debate has however ebbed and flowed and established a discourse that Sweden was forced to give in to German demands and did so to avoid conflict that would have severely damaged Sweden. However, in 1991 a Swedish journalist Maria-Pia Boëthius published a book known as Heder och Samvete in which she explained that the Swedish concessions to Germany during the war were made out of profit rather than giving in to German demands. This sparked a Debate that ended with the establishment that Sweden compromised and even broke its neutrality in favor to gain profit from the war.
