Könet som en omöjlighet: en studie av etiska kvaliteter i feministiska mäns berättande
How do men who define themselves as feminists create and maintain an identity as men? In this qualitative study four men involved in feminist organizations were interviewed about their views on women, men, sex and feminism. Theories of language, psychoanalysis and ethics were utilized to further our understanding of the material these men produce in their effort to define themselves. Our object of study is the text, which we believe holds the key to understanding how an individual shapes his world and himself. The result is our interpretation of the text and its underlying mechanics.
Har muren fallit? En studie av policynätverk inom infrastrukturprocessen i Skåne
The creation of Region Skåne, and the transfer of the development responsibility from the national administrative country board (Länsstyrelsen) has given the state new challenges. New structures have grown between Region and State, and also between different municipalities. These can be characterized as Policy-networks, and the goal of this study is to analyze the planning process of the regional infrastructure with these theories.This is a qualitative study of the infrastructure process in Skåne, and the actors that acts within this process. It has been studied with the eyes of the theories of Governance and Policy-networks. The main method to collect material has been through interviews with different actors within the process, and very little written material has been used.
?One Direction is not a phase like any other fandom I've been in, they're like my life? : en analys av fandom som källa till helighet
The aim of this paper is to study whether the way directioners (One Direction fans) on Twitter express self-understandings denote fandom as a sacred experience. For this purpose, the data was analyzed in relation to Nicholas Jay Demerath III typology of the varieties of the sacred experience. The method used was discursive psychology. The data was analyzed by how the fans draw the line between ?us? and ?them?, when expressing their self-understandings and their position in relation to others. Five themes were identified: (1) positioning and demarcation for membership, (2) group identity, (3) conflict, (4) the norms for behavior, opinions and language and (5) the group?s role and function.
En studie om studenters användning av vänlistor på Facebook
Friend lists allow Facebook users to group their friends and may be used to share certain information only with those in a specific list. This function has been around for several years, but has never gained any particular popularity among users, most of whom probably did not know it even existed a couple of years ago. In the fall of 2011, however, the function was updated and made more visible on the site.There are several possible uses of friend lists, such as privacy control, filtering of the news feed, self-presentation and targeted information sharing. This paper aims to investigate the extent to which friend lists are used by students today, as well as why students actually use their lists, i.e. for what purposes.Judging from the results of this study in comparison with earlier research, there seems to have been a somewhat recent increase in the awareness of the fact that friend lists actually do exist, but still most users tend not to utilize them.

This thesis is a study of Facebook users? beliefs attitudes and behaviour towards personalised adverts on the site, using Wang & Suns theory about the relationship between beliefs and attitude toward online advertising (ATOA) and the connection between attitude and behaviour. The result, based on qualitative research and interviews, will introduce a deeper understanding and interpretation of users? beliefs, attitudes and behaviour toward personalised adverts. The result showed that people perceive the site?s personal adverts as intrusive and interfering with their personal space and the purpose of the site.
Upplevelser av nedsatt sväljningsförmåga hos personer med dysfagi till följd av stroke
Stroke is one of the most common diseases in Sweden and the third most common
cause of death (National guidelines concerning stroke, 2000). Dysphagia is a
common problem for stroke patients with almost 50 percent of patients suffering
from severe swallowing dysfunction (Axelsson, Asplund, Norberg & Eriksson,
1989). The purpose of this study was to investigate how stroke patients with
dysphagia experience their swallowing disorders. The method used was a
qualitative literature study. An analysis of content was carried out using
ideas and inspiration from Graneheim and Lundman (2003).
Kvinnor från norra Sverige på sociala medier : En studie om hur kvinnor från norra Sverige framställer och använder sig av sociala medier som Stockholmsbor
I den här studien undersöker jag hur självidentitetsprocessen går till med hjälp av sociala medier för kvinnor från norra Sverige som flyttat till Stockholm. Fokus ligger på att undersöka hur sju kvinnor framställer sig själva och hur de använder plattformarna Facebook, Instagram och Twitter. Sju kvinnor i åldrarna 23 till 44 år har intervjuats i början av april 2014. Som komplement till intervjuerna har jag observerat deras konton på sociala medier under en längre period. Resultatet visar att kvinnorna i studien ser sig som norrlänningar efter flytten till Stockholm och de visar sin koppling till norra Sverige på sociala medier på olika sätt.
Varumärket Öresund : med nätverk som kommunikationskanal
I uppsatsen undersöks förutsättningar och möjligheter för att genom Öresund Networks medlemsnätverk kommunicera varumärket Öresund till externa målgrupper. Nätverksmedlemmars uppfattningar och behov analyseras utifrån varumärkes- och nätverksteori. Det empiriska material som legat till grund för analysen har samlats in med kvalitativa intervjuer.Resultaten visar att varumärket har en positiv image hos nätverksmedlemmarna och att det finns goda förutsättningar för att kommunicera varumärket genom nätverket. Nätverket utnyttjas dock inte till sin fulla potential och bör anpassas efter nätverksmedlemmarnas behov. Engagemanget för varumärket måste också höjas för att skapa ett starkt varumärke vilket är en förutsättning för att nätverksmedlemmarna ska kommunicera varumärket.

This is achieved by quantitative content analysis:categorizing messages into the categories Information, Community and Action, and measuring whichof these categories got the most shares, comments and likes.

Social media have become a bigger and bigger aspect of daily life for many ages and especially within the youth culture growing from digital interactions. At the same time libraries seems eager to use this medium to reach out to the youth to inform and to educate. But do we know enough about how these two groups? views each other to be effective at this work? And is it even something that is wanted? What?s the image of social media from their point of view?The goal of this study is to investigate the image of social media from the point of view of two groups, librarians and youth. The study is based on a qualitative approach with a random selection of candidates.
?Vi ger människor kraft och kunskap? : en kvalitativ studie om socionomers socialt förebyggande arbete med barnfamiljer på familjecentralen
Family centres are established to serve families with children and the personnel usually consists of units of social-workers, preschool staff, paediatric nurses and midwives. The purpose of the study was to examine the social-workers preventive work with families at the family centre. To fulfil the purpose, a qualitative interview with five social-workers was conducted. The theoretical framework referred to attachment and empowerment theory. The results of the study showed that the main part of the work consists of giving advice and support to parents.
Nytt processmaterial i överrättsprocessen
I denna uppsats studerar vi delningar av artiklar på det sociala mediet Facebook. Syftet är att undersöka informanternas egna tankar, reflektioner och upplevelser av vad de läser och delar med sig av på Facebook. Det vi vill undersöka är användandet av artiklar som opinionsbildande material - så som krönikor, debattinlägg och nyheter. Fokus ligger på att försöka se hur informanternas förhållande till deras åsikter och värderingar påverkas av vad de läser och delar på Facebook, samt hur och varför de använder sig av delningar.Vi har genomfört sex stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med informanter mellan 25-38 år, både kvinnor och män. De övergripande frågeställningar vi ville besvara var; Varför väljer informanten att läsa artiklar på Facebook? Varför väljer informanten att dela/dela vidare på Facebook? Hur ser relationen ut mellan de delningar informanten gör och informantens åsikter?För analysen har vi främst använt oss av teorierna Uses & Gratifications, som vi hämtat från Lee & Ma (2012), samt Kang et al (2013) för att förklara motivet till delningar och Nyhetsvärdering som baseras på Galtung och Ruge´s kriterier för nyhetsvärdering, för att förklara vad de läser.

In my project I worked with fluorescent color and fear as a theme together. It was based on my question for what happens when you take all the lights out and highlight a fear or phobia. I wanted to experiment and explore the course of event within the surface of a picture by using this kind of paint.I worked with illustration and pattern to bind the two pictures together. The aim was to investigate what is possible with the picture as a medium and work with contrast to make it as effective as possible. My goal was to make one poster of each fear and to make them work together as a series as it?s best.I asked myself many questions such as;? What happens to the surface, image and room when you use this color?? Will a new quality appear?? What happens when you mix two pictures together on a parallel level that only show in different kind of light?.

To be stricken with illness can involve that the individual feels powerlessness and to have no control over the own body. This could lead to both psychical and physical suffering. To strength health is one of the nurses' responsibilities and to touch can be one way. The aim of the study was to describe patients' experience of the effects of touch.

Most of the information online is difficult for people with cognitive disabilities to understand and assimilate. In this project I have had the expectation that this is possible to change. In cooperation with FUB, a Swedish organization working for people with cognitive disabilities, I have studied how to adapt content, pictures and writing to persons with the levels of mild to moderate cognitive disabilities. I have also taken the perspective ?design for all?, which means that you adapt a design for the weakest persons in the society to make it work for everyone.The purpose of my work is to study how to create a web text where content, writing and pictures are incorporated.To examine how to do this I have conducted qualitative interviews in which I have let the informants look at and read four different texts.
