After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 the satellite states of the former Communist bloc immediately departed on a journey towards democracy and market capitalism. Among the many tasks of the newly elected governments, one was to transform the paternalist Communist welfare state into a social system that would decrease the oversized role of the state, at the same time as protecting the citizens from the hardships ensued from the transition.I have studied the evolution of new welfare systems in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary, three countries generally agreed as the most similar and most successfull transition countries of the Eastern bloc. Gøsta Esping-Andersen's prominent typology of welfare regimes, consisting of the liberal, corporatist and social democratic regime-types, has constituted the theoretical basis of the analysis. Simultaneously, applying new cases to the typology implies an element of theory testing.The study shows that 40 years of Communism and partial isolation from the West has not prevented these three countries from developing welfare states fully compatible with those of Western Europe and the Anglo-Saxon nations and that all three of them in fact fall within the scope of the corporatist regime-type..

When a company seeks to enter a new market, the multiple choices of possible new business relationships exist. Further, establishing new relationships is a time-consuming procedure associated with high uncertainty and high costs. Hence, if the firm does not succeed in pinpointing the most suitable business partners to collaborate with, the firm may both forfeit other possible good relationships, as well as resources invested. Based on this notion the aim of this thesis is to explore how a manufacturing company can base the selection of future dealership Business-to-Business partners by evaluating indicators of a possible business relationship?s potential to become successful. The choice of focusing on the Business-to-Business relationship between a manufacturer and a dealership company originates from being influenced by the issues facing the Swedish agricultural machinery manufacturer Väderstad-Verken AB, who is putting attention to explore the US market.

Syftet med förevarande uppsats är att utröna hur elever och lärare uppfattar inflytande och makt i en skolkontext, huruvida dessa uppfattningar de facto återspeglas i undervisningen samt om det är möjligt att gemensamt vidareutveckla utbildningen. Analysen utförs med hjälp av fyra separata kvalitativa enkätundersökningar, vilka inkluderar 32 elever (fördelat på två klasser) och fjorton lärare på två skolor i södra Sverige. Resultatet visar först och främst på att både lärare och elever ser på inflytande som något positivt och essentiellt för elevers utveckling. Dessutom går det, enligt de tillfrågade lärarna och eleverna, dels att konstatera att såväl formellt som informellt inflytande är beståndsdelar i elevinflytandebegreppet, men även att både lärare och elever premierar det informella, undervisningsrelaterade inflytandet. Vidareutveckling förefaller därutöver primärt ske genom utvärderingar samt via en kontinuerlig dialog mellan lärare och elever.

This report describes the process of translating Russian financial information in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards to IFRS, International Financial Reporting Standards. The author describes the two regulatory frameworks and reveals a number of risk factors in the process. These risk factors may affect the reliability of figures from Russian companies. The purpose of our work has been to investigate how gender is viewed by pre-school teachers, as well as taken into account in their everyday work. We have also looked into how gender plays a part in the planning and shaping of the pedagogical environment.Our work is based upon qualitative research method, as we have conducted several qualitative interviews at different pre-schools along the way. One such minority that have been present in many countries and managed to avoid becoming completly assimilated are the jewish people. Their dream of a state of their own eventually lead to the founding of the state of Israel where they themselves are now in majority. The purpose of this report is to study how the jews historic experiances has affected the political parties in Israel, how they choose to meet the ?challenge? of their own minorities och whatever they treat different minorites differently.

In the field of maintenance management there are but a few models an organization can use. The one model that has risen to the status of being the de facto standard in Sweden is pm3(på maintenance management model). The aim of this study is to lay the groundwork for a new method of evaluate the use of pm3within organizations. Today there is no uniform way of performing such an evaluation, which is necessary in order to diagnose the performance of the systems maintenance organizations.In the process of creating our own method for performing this kind of pm3audit, we further developed the ideas from a study by Lagsten & Nordström (2013) that was performed at the county Region Skåne. The authors of that study had developed ideas about using method rationale as a basis of creating a method for pm3auditing.

Syftet med studien är att öka förståelsen för hur K3-företagen valde att göra (de facto) vid värdering av förvaltningsfastigheter under räkenskapsåret 2014. Vidare avser studien att undersöka om det finns faktorer som kan förklara vilka likheter och olikheter som finns för företagen gällande redovisning av informationen kring verkligt värde på förvaltningsfastigheter Studien är genomförd med en kvantitativ metod där en dokumentstudie använts för att studera årsredovisningar från företag som ingår i studien. Resultatet i denna studie visar på ett flertal faktorer som påverkar i vilken utsträckning K3-företagen väljer att lämna ytterligare upplysningar utöver vad som står i K3-regelverket i noten om verkligt värde på förvaltningsfastigheter. Studien visar även på faktorer som påverkar företagens val av värderingsmetod vid fastställandet av verkligt värde på förvaltningsfastigheter. Vidare forskning inom området kan innebära att en undersökning görs för att ta reda på vad redovisare anser om K3-regelverket i allmänhet och upplysningsnoten på verkligt värde i synnerhet. Forskning kan även göras gällande andra faktorer som inte finns med i denna studie, som exempelvis genomsnittligt verkligt värde per kvadratmeter. .

Sweden is a member of the European Union since 1995. The European Union issues directives that cover different areas. Member states must implement these directives into their national legislation. The European council issued in 1993 a directive that took action on the organization of working time, also known as the working time directive. The full name is: Council directive 93/104/EC of 23 November 1993 concerning certain aspects of the organization of working time.

The essay focuses on the blacklisted restriction of passive sales in the block exemption to Article 101 TFEU on vertical agreements. It confirms the authors' thesis that the distinction between active and passive sales do not cause any problems in the theory, but that the reality shows the opposite. The analysis further shows that more detailed guidelines probably would not solve the problem but rather it is the objectives behind the rules and practice that causes confusion.The essay questiones whether the changes in the new guidelines for the block exemption also involves a change in the Commission's approach to the restrictions on passive sales when the same purposes as before lies behind the rules, where the goal of an integrated market is the most important. I meet in my work as art teacher many students of different descent, were they, or their parents, have different school experience than the Swedish. This, in combination with therecent discussion after the Muhammad caricatures about the banning of images in Islamic religion, made me curious to study what art education in a Muslim country looked like. I went to visit the Maramra Egitim Köyü school in Istanbul, Turkey, and especially their art classesfrom grade five to eight, which are the same age of students that I have been working with thelast ten years. This was my first visit to Turkey.The question I ask is: What does the practice of Turkish art education look like, using the Marmara school as an example. Which discourses can I identify in the art teacher practice? What surprised me the most was the frequent visual exposure of the founder of the Turkishstate, Kemal Atatürk.

Therefore, the creation of a single market in insurance will enable consumers to have access to wider choice of insurance products, and insurance companies to gain access to markets in various Member States and compete effectively. The EU legal framework for the insurance industry embraces the Treaty freedoms of services, establishment and capital, the EC Directives and the ECJ case-law.
