It is estimated that 22 000 contaminated areas exist in Sweden today. In order to classify the risk of contaminant migration from these areas and to prioritize which of these contaminated areas should first be treated, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has designed a method, for the investigation of contaminated areas (MIFO). One of these contaminated areas is the landfill Gräsötippen outside Köping. The landfill has been used by both Yara AB and the Köping municipality between the years 1945 and 1975, and both industrial and household waste have been deposited there. The aim of this report is to survey which contaminants that can be found in the soil and water in the landfill Gräsötippen and to evaluate the migration of these contaminants.

This bachelor essay studies families that have migrated from countries in Europe to Sweden,and their experiences of adapting to new conditions of the Swedish welfare state. Theirexperiences are studied firstly from an institutional point of view, which refers to the family?s experience of adapting family life to Swedish family social policy. Secondly it focuses how the families experience new norms and values connected to Swedish family social policy. The main aim is to seek what problems families migrating to Sweden might be confronted with when adapting to new conditions of the welfare state.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att empiriskt testa Browns jämviktsmodell, genom att på regionalnivå i huvudsak undersöka relationen mellan flöden av arbetskraft och arbetslöshet.Uppsatsen testar även för fler variabler för regionala karaktäristika som i tidigare litteraturanvänds för att förklara regional arbetslöshet. Med hjälp av poolad regression och upprepadetvärsnitt erhålls varierande resultat för observationsperioden 2007-2011. Den årsvisavariationen i resultatet är tydlig dels genom signifikansen hos de årsvisa intercepten iregressionen baserad på poolad data, men också på hur koefficienter varierar i de upprepadetvärsnitten. Detta leder oss till slutsatsen att Browns jämviktsmodell varierar i hur väl denfungerar empiriskt över observationsperioden. Denna uppsats syftar till att utreda ifall den interna migrationen i dagens Sverige skett på ett sätt som överensstämmer med de antagande som humankapitalteorin gör om migration, samt att utreda om det finns ett samband mellan individens humankapital och dennes benägenhet att flytta. För att undersöka detta ställdes följande hypoteser: 1. Individer som har ett stort humankapital, d.v.s. är högskoleutbildade, har en större benägenhet att flytta än individer med ett litet humankapital, d.v.s. som saknar högskoleutbildning.

As scholars argue, there has been a rapid diffusion of civic integration policies in Western Europe the last decade. In the light of the debate about the extent of civic integration policies, recent studies have shown that the diffusion is limited to certain countries. Despite a flurry of literature based on civic integration policies, attention drawn to the implication of these policies has been quite inferior. This paper tries to examine what civic integration policies means in relation to immigration. Are civic integration policies used as an informal tool for the purpose of limiting certain groups of immigrants? I argue in this paper that the conditional factor in the civic integration policies creates a barrier for affected immigrants and their possibilities to gain long term residence.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the possibility of replacing data from highspeed filming (Qualisys motion capture) with data from Inertial Measurement Units (X-io technologies), when used to run a model of torso and pelvis in OpenSim. Qualisys motion capture data is used as the golden standard to validate the result visually and with Bland-Altman plots.In order to obtain comparable data experiments are conducted where both methods of collecting data are used simultaneously. Data from the IMU's then need to be processed in Matlab before it can be used to run the OpenSim modell. Several Matlab programs rotate the IMU data to a static reference frame, filter and integrate it, then create viritual markers that correspond to Qualisys' optical markers.The conclusion is that using IMU as a method for collecting data can replace Qualisys in some applications, but not in ones that require high precision. Denna rapport kommer att redogöra för NK-cellers (Naturliga mördarceller) beteende vid odopat tillstånd. Det vi kallar dopning är när NK-celler aktiveras genom interleukin-2, detta är en signalerande molekyl i vårt immunsystem som reglerar aktiviteten hos vita blodkroppar vilka utgör en del av immunförsvaret.Med hjälp av ett par mikroskopfilmer har vi kunnat följa varje enskild NK-cells migration(rörelse) och interaktion med våra målceller i ett prov under en 8-timmars period. De målceller vi använder är en sorts tumörceller, HEK 293T(Human embryonic kidney 293T cells. Vi har valt att spåra cellerna manuellt med ett program kallat ImageJ och automatiskt med ett matlabprogram, Baxter algorithm. Anledningen till att vi dessutom valt att spåra automatiskt är för att kunna avgöra hur väl detta program kan spåra celler.

Syftet med denna studie är att utreda begreppen big data och analytics. Utifrån vetenskapliga teorier om begreppen undersöks hur konsultföretag uppfattar och använder sig av big data och analytics. För att skapa en nyanserad bild har även en organisation inom vården undersökts för att få kunskap om hur de kan dra nytta av big data och analytics. Ett antal viktiga svårigheter och framgångsfaktorer kopplade till båda begreppen presenteras. De svårigheterna kopplas sedan ihop med en framgångsfaktor som anses kunna bidra till att lösa det problemet.

That is not the reality for all. There are laws and regulations on visa requirement which makes it harder for nationals of certain countries to travel on holiday abroad. The main purpose of a Flight Data Recorder (FDR) is to facilitate the investigation of incidents. In order to interpret the data that has been recorded in the FDR the data has to be visualized in some way. This can be done with software on a computer or with hardware that is specific for the model of aircraft that the data originates from.The aim of this project is to visualize data for six parameters from the FDR of Saab 2000 in an avionics rig. The avionics rig resembles the cockpit of Saab 2000 and the displays in it are identical to the ones found in the plane. All six parameters are shown on the same display.Due to safety regulation vital systems in aircraft are doubled, with one system on the left side and one on the right.

Analysmodellen kommer att appliceras på TV-branschen.Metod: Vi har konstruerat en ansats till en generell teoretisk analysmodell som vi har applicerat på TV-branschen för att försöka förklara hur företagens affärsmodeller påverkas av externa faktorer som bidrar till förändringar i branschen. I vår undersökning har vi valt en kvalitativ metod, och vi har huvudsakligen använt oss av teori inom branschutveckling, värdekonstellationer och value migration teori. Vår primärdata utgörs av intervjuer med personer som arbetar inom digital-TV området i någon av de tre distributionsplattformarna. Sekundärdata har vi erhållit från artiklar, remisser samt annat material från olika instanser inom området.Slutsats: Vår ansats till analysmodell utgör en grund för att studera hur affärsmodeller påverkas av branschförändringar.
