Inledning: Stockholm står idag inför en breddning av hotellutbudet, hur förhåller sig hotellen till den ökande konkurrensen? Kommer hotellen att förändra prisstrategierna och kan eventuella prisförändringar leda till ett priskrig?Syfte: Syftet med studien var att titta på hur olika hotell skiljer sig i prissättning och få insikt kring priskrig och om det kommer uppstå då konkurrensen ökar.Metod: Enkätstudie med viss kvalitativ metodundersökning har använts, på grund av flexibel och hanterbar data som svarar på syfte och frågeställning. Teoretisk data har inhämtats från artiklar och publicerade böcker. Det har även använts artiklar för att påvisa ämnets aktualitet. Tio Revenue Managers (RM) har intervjuats.

In the school subject of the natural sciences it is imperative that the students are given opportunities to ?talk science?, since the dialogues that occur in the classroom have a significant importance for the students? abilities to engage in meaning-making in their learning process. Hence, the student and teacher interaction in the classroom and the feedback given there play a significant role in the students? learning process. The aim of this study is to contribute to the development of formative assessment tools that can mediate the students? meaning-making in natural sciences subjects in upper-secondary school.

Vidare var syftet även att undersöka de regler som är tillämpliga och hur dessa regler fungerar i praktiken samt vad en arbetsgivare har att iaktta när denne har som ändamål att säga upp en arbetstagare på grund av samarbetsproblem.

The aim of this study is to investigate how chemistry teachers at secondary school anduniversities work with learning strategies and models of perception. This thesis leans on theworks of Lev Vygotskij and his likes but also on the theory of conceptual metaphors by GeorgeLakoff and Mark Johnson as a tool to analyze the collected data.The Empirical data that this study is based upon have been collected through semi-structuredinterviews with teachers as primary respondents.The study has resulted in a two practical assignments for secondary school which are builtaround the concept of open assignments. Den här studien beskriver kritiska händelser och vad som påverkat läroprocessen i en reflektionsgrupp för ledarstöd, ett samverkansprojekt mellan två olika förvaltningar och landstinget i en medelstor svensk stad. Åtta erfarna chefer från olika arbetsplatser träffades vid sju tillfällen under perioden nov 2004 ? juni 2005 under ledning av en processledare. Det övergripande syftet med studien är att ur deltagarperspektiv belysa och analysera processen i kompetensutvecklingsinsatsen och söka svar på vilka brytpunkter deltagarna upplevt i termer av stödjande och hindrande händelser under läroprocessens gång samt vilka effekter av kompetensutvecklingen deltagarna själv ser i sin profession som ledare i den dagliga praktiken.Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och kritiska-händelse-metoden, CIT (Critical Incident Technique) har använts för att samla in och analysera data. Åtta djupintervjuer med samtliga deltagare och en djupintervju med processledaren har legat till grund för analysen, som resulterade i sju kategorier; Engagemanget och motivationen, Tryggheten, Kommunikationen och interaktionen, Perspektivvidgandet, Samhörighetskänslan, Energitappet och Självkänslan.Följande slutsatser mynnar i studien ut i en diskussion mot bakgrund av teorier om lärande och då i synnerhet vuxnas lärande;? Den strategiska styrningen av kompetensutvecklingsprogrammet har öppnat lärandeporten och lagt grunden för deltagarnas motivation? Det operativa ledarskapet har haft mycket stor betydelse för lärprocessen och skapat förutsättningar för kommunikationen, kunskapsutbytet och därmed kunskapsbildningen.? De respektfulla relationerna i gruppen har gett en känsla av samhörighet, som i sin tur legat till grund för det viktiga erfarenhetsutbytet i kunskapsbildningen? Reflektionsgruppen har bidragit till autonomi.

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze youth community service in the Kalmar municipality. Our focus was on juvenile offenders and predecessor of public authorities. The juvenile offenders in our study have completed youth community service. A qualitative study was undertaken which include seven interviews.
