Världshandeln växer kraftigt och det vanligaste sättet atttransportera gods mellan landsgränser är genom sjöfart. I takt med attvärldshandeln växer, ökar också storleken på fartygen. Detta innebär att enstörre mängd gods anländer samtidigt när ett fartyg förtöjer vid en hamn. Föratt hantera denna ökade mängd gods måste godsnav och hamnar ständigt utvecklaoch effektivisera verksamheten. Detta innebär att långsiktiga prognoser ochplaner måste utvecklas för hur större fartyg skall kunna hanteras.

The purpose of this essay is to analyze how the Trojan prince Paris is described in the Iliad and in the movie Troy in regard to love and bravery. Thereafter an analysis of the similarities and differences between the Iliad and the movie Troy will be made. There will also be a discussion why there are differences between an epic story which was made for over two thousand years ago and a modern movie made in the twenty-first century. The differences will be based on the perspective ancient Greek culture versus filmmaking of the twenty-first century. The method that has been used is narrative analysis where the primary data, the Iliad and the movie Troy, have been interpreted.                        The Trojan prince Paris is described as a young, handsome man driven by his passion for Helen.

The global climate-change means increasing mean-temperature and higher precipitation in Sweden, which leads to shorter periods of frozen ground in the forest. At the same time the harvesting machines are getting bigger and more powerful. The forest industry aim at an even wood flow, and the ground damage has to be as low as possible. The two biggest causes for ground-damage is the bearing capacity of the forest ground and the ground-pressure of the harvesting machines. The aim of this study was to find out some rules for the machine choice considering ground pressure, when harvesting on ground with low bearing capacity.A field study, using a Valmet 890.3 forwarder, was carried out where different ground pressures and their effect on the ground were tested on two different types of ground.Additionally, an inventory of damaged harvesting grounds was made.

Det är en given utgångspunkt vid utmätning att endast sådan egendom som tillhör gäldenären får tas i anspråk för borgenärernas fordringar. Eftersom det ofta är praktiskt omöjligt för kronofogdemyndigheten att göra en fullständig utredning om vilka tillgångar som ägs av gäldenären, får lös egendom också utmätas i de fall då den p.g.a. presumtionsreglerna i 4 kap. 18-19 §§ utsökningsbalken ska anses tillhöra gäldenären. Enligt dessa lagrum presumeras gäldenären vara ägare till gods som han har i sin besittning om det inte "framgår" att egendomen tillhör annan.

This case study attempts to examine how students of Religionswissenschaft at Södertörns University reflect about their philosophy of life and if their studies have some impact on their tendency to reflect. Also what aspects the students tend to reflect over will be investigated. In this study the term ?philosophy of life? includes humans thought and conceptions of the world and their outlook on mankind. To answer these question an interview study with 6 students took place, and the transcriptions produced 5 categories; ?The philosophy of life, to believe or not believe?, ?Development of concepts?, ?Outlook on mankind?, ?The founding of meaning? and ?Understanding and progress?.

The ammonia emissions are an environmental issue since they contribute to eutrophication. By far the largest source of ammonia emissions is manure from agriculture and should therefore be reduced. Loss of ammonia is not only negative for the environment but also to the farmer who loses nitrogen that could have been used by the crop. The focus of this study has been emissions from spreading slurry where the loss can vary widely depending on slurry-, soil-, and weather conditions. There are mainly two different ways to reduce the emissions. One is to inject or mix the slurry into the ground to avoid air contact. The other way is to use acid to reduce the pH in the slurry to a level between 5 and 6 where the equilibrium is so strongly pushed to NH4+ that hardly any NH3 can be lost.

Bakgrund: För företag som transporterar produkter internationellt blir transportkostnaderna en stor kostnadspost. Förkalkyler upprättas som ska jämföras med faktiska kostnader. Det är viktigt för företagen att kunna styra över och veta vad som orsakat avvikelser som uppkommer mellan förkalkyler och faktiska kostnader eftersom förkalkylerna ofta ligger till grund för beslut. Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att utveckla och pröva en analysmetodik för att spåra orsaker till avvikelser mellan förkalkylerade och faktiska transportkostnader. Avgränsningar: Undersökningen berör endast kostnader som uppkommer i samband med transporter.

 This essay has been investigate a Hindu swaminarayantempel in central Sweden, its activities and function from a diaspora perspective. Also to investigate the relationship between Hindu diaspora groups and in relation to South Asia. An ethnographic method was used.The result of this study shows that the key activities temple provides the puja. Pujan is the most frequent activity in the investigated Temple. The temple also provides other activities that often are linked to anniversaries and celebrations of festive calendar, such as Diwali or gods' birthdays.The investigated temple has a similar function as other diaspora groups.

Vässarös rederi bedriver idag transporter av gods och dessutom passagerartrafik, till och från Vässarö, med vanlig diesel som bränsle. I detta arbete undersöks vilka alternativa bränslen som skulle kunna användas i Vässarös fartyg. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur Vässarös rederi kan byta till ett bränsle som har mindre påverkan på miljön. Information har sammanställts om flera bränsletyper och intervjuer har genomförts med motortillverkare, bränsleleverantörer och ett skärgårdsrederi som genomfört tester med syntetisk diesel. Resultatet visar att ett tänkbart alternativt bränsle är syntetisk diesel och det bränslet skulle ej kräva modifieringar av motor eller bränslesystem och ej heller nya förvaringsrutiner.

Ystads hamn har en historisk bakgrund som hamnstad med färjeförbindelser medBornholm och Polen. Trelleborg konkurrerar med Ystad om färjetrafik.Studiens syfte har varit att kartlägga hur olika aktörer ser på utvecklingen avYstads hamn, presentera och analysera de alternativ som finns. Undersökningenhar genomförts genom intervjuer och dokumentstudier.För att öka konkurrenskraften har man i Ystad fört olika diskussioner och förslagom utbyggnad och omstrukturering av hamnen. Ambitionen från styrandepolitiker är att bygga ut hamnen, att anpassa den för större fartyg och för enutökad färjetrafik, både gods- och passagerartrafik.Under planeringsprocessen har det i kommunen bildats en motståndsgrupp"hamnupproret" som motsätter sig kommunens planer och som har en annaninriktning för hamnen än kommunen. Denna inriktning innebär begränsning avgodstrafiken och att hamnområdet skall upplåtas för byggande av bostäder,näringsliv och turistanpassad verksamhet enligt "Waterfront-modell".Hamnen är beroende av goda transportvägar till och från hamnen och av ett brajärnvägsnät.

Hur företag väljer att distribueras sina tjänster eller produkter har en stor påverkan på deras transportkostnader och leveransservice. Hos Draka Kabel Sverige AB finns i nuläget ingen uttalad leveransstrategi gällande uppbokning av inrikestransporter, utan detta sker efter kundönskemål. Detta leder till många små leveranser som resulterar i högre transportkostnader och ostrukturerade arbetsrutiner. I dagsläget samarbetar Draka Kabel Sverige AB med en speditör, Höglands Logistik AB, och all inrikes vägtransport sker med speditören.

The purpose of this study was to see how Luke depicted the Roman Empire and in particularits people through his gospel. Around the time of the gospels? composition, 70-80 A.D., tensions were high between the Jewish people and their Roman occupants. However, it was during this period of high tension that a small group of Jews distinguished themselves not only by claiming that the promised savior, the Messiah, had arrived but also by including non-Jewish members into their ranks. The stated question is how this group of Christians reasoned both among themselves but also with their surroundings.
