Huvudsyftet var att ta reda på vad förskolebarn kan och tänker kring vattnets kretslopp och vattnets betydelse för allt liv på jorden. Samtidigt syftade undersökningen till att ta reda på pedagogernas arbetssätt och tankar kring dem. Undersökningen har genomförts med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med såväl pedagoger som barn. Intervjuerna har spelats in och sedan transkribetats för att därefter analyseras. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att barnen har god kännedom om vattnets kretslopp och vattnets betydelse för livet på jorden.

This master thesis work was done at Saab Underwater Systems AB, a company at the cutting edge of underwater technology. Here torpedoes and other underwater vehicles are developed and manufactured. The major customers are navies of different countries, mostly the Swedish navy. The aim of this master thesis is to develop, construct and evaluate an automatic Trim System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.

This thesis has the overall objective to develop the optimum sealing system between the retarder and transmission. Today, there is a pressure-relief and two radial seals separation between the retarder and transmission. It has been found that carbon residue formation may occur between retarder axle and seal lips with, in some cases, leakage as a result.We have in this thesis tried to explain the phenomenon of carbon residue, how it is formed and why it can be seen just on the seals? A rig test was conducted where we show how friction, speed, transmission temperature and mitigation phases of the retarder affects temperatures in the sealing environment. Factors affecting the coke structure are reported, together with proposals for measures that provide a mitigating seal environment.

The aim of this study is through a policy analysis to illuminate the decisions that the EU has taken to respond to the terrorist attacks in the US, Madrid and London and through this analysis try to explain the problem of each decision and find out if these decisions might risk the individual rights of the European Union?s citizens.In order to reach this purpose the following questions are to be answered: In what way has the EU?s decision-making process, regarding its fight on terrorism, been affected by the terrorist attacks in Madrid and London? What consequences may the EU?s decisions against terrorism have on the individual rights?The method that has been used is qualitative studies of literature and the main material is overarching policy documents from the EU.The conclusions are that the bombings in Madrid and London have increased the speed of the decision-making process and more areas have been included in the union?s fight against terrorism. If individual rights are at risk by the union?s decisions there are reasons to be concerned. But my conclusion is that the European Union has to have strong and effective instruments to answer to the threat of terrorism..

 Nordic Cab AB är ett företag som säljer multifunktionella barnvagnar. Dessa barnvagnar har utbytbara delar vilket gör att man kan omvandla dem till en jogging-, cykel-, skid-, hund- eller vandringsvagn.Syftet med denna uppsats är att prissätta Nordic Cab AB:s multifunktionella barnvagn. För att uppnå detta beskriver vi först hur olika faktorer påverkar Nordic Cab AB:s prissättning. Dessa faktorer är företagets mål, kostnader, efterfrågan och konkurrenter. Utifrån dessa faktorer och intervjuer med återförsäljare av multifunktionella barnvagnar och VD:n för Nordic Cab AB kommer vi fram till att Nordic Cab AB borde använda sig av en prissättningsmetod som baseras på upplevt kundvärde.Genom att låta återförsäljare av multifunktionella barnvagnar betygsätta hur viktiga olika egenskaper hos dessa är för kunden och hur bra de olika företagen på marknaden är på att tillgodose dessa egenskaper kan vi presentera ett kundvärde för Nordic Cab AB och två av deras konkurrenter.

Denna studie replikerar Hutchins studie 1995 ?How a cockpit remember its speed?, för att undersöka skillnader och likheter i dagens cockpits.Syftet med studien är att ta reda på ifall dagens cockpit distribuerar kognitionen på samma sätt som förr det vill säga används till exempel fartbuggar och andra artefakter på liknande sätt. Samt att ta reda på om det har ändrats mycket hur detta då påverkar cockpit kommer ihåg hastighet inför landning.För att få reda på detta så har observationer gjorts i cockpit under landning. Sammanlagt så observerades sex landningar. Under dessa observationer intervjuades också piloterna om hur de hade beskrivit cockpits minne av hastigheter.Resultatet i studien visar att det finns mycket som fortfarande fungerar på liknande sätt som tidigare.

Örebro svets & hydraulik AB tillverkar lastknektar till Suzuki Garphyttan. På lastknektarna transporteras sedan stora rullar av tråd i stål. Knektarna har visat sig kollapsa efter viss tids användning och behöver därför en förbättrad konstruktion. Höga laster, tuff hantering samt ovarsamma lyft kan vara orsaker till att knektarna kollapsar. Örebro svets är väl införstådda var skadorna uppstår i nuvarande konstruktion och vill därför förstärka denna del och konstruktionen i sin helhet.Kraven på den nya konstruktionen, förutom att vara mer hållbar, är att befintligt mått mellan benen ska följas och att knekten ska vara staplingsbar vid transport till galvanisering.Nuvarande knektar har modellerats i CAD-programmet Pro/ENGINEER för att sedan analyseras med Finita Elementmetoden i beräkningsprogrammet ANSYS för att visa var deformation och spänningar uppstår.

Dressage schooling is not a subject that rests on science, it is a matter of dependable experience. So far there hasn?t been so much research about it, but more and more is done. Especially the interaction between rider and horse is a nearly uninvestigated field. Riding skills is much about having the right position, and having the horses head and neck in different positions, but there are no research done that support or deny that this old ?knowledge? is for the best for the horse. This study was performed to evaluate if the head and neck position of the horse, and the velocity, has any influence on the position of the rider.

Studien är utförd på Hammarplast Consumer AB med syftet att skapa djupare förståelse i hur producerande verksamheter arbetar med sina ständiga förbättringar och hur de kan på ett strukturerat sätt utföra förbättringar i den dagliga styrningen för att nå konkurrenskraftig och hållbar utveckling.För att detta skulle uppnås dokumenterades företagets vision och utmaning, som sedan bröts ned till ett detaljrikt måltillstånd med hjälp av att nuläget analyserades i den valda processen. Därefter gjordes små, snabba steg och korrigeringar mot måltillståndet, vilket genomfördes med planering, genomföring, reflektering och uppföljning. Det gav förbättringar som var värdehöjande för företaget och som resulterade i ett steg närmare visionen. Det strukturerade tillvägagångssättet, kata, bidrog till att medarbetarna blev engagerade och involverade.I de avslutande kapitlen fördes en diskussion om hur företaget kan på ett strukturerat sätt utföra deras ständiga förbättringar i den dagliga styrningen som kommer att föra dem emot en konkurrenskraftig och hållbar utveckling..

Academic research concerning how to determine the power situation in a supply chain where an investment product supplier is involved did not exist. Therefore new models has been developed that analyses the power relations and maps out the power situation in a supply chain. In the future these models can be applied on similar cases by modifying the included parameters. The new models show that case company FAS should focus on the big producers of garbage bag which are Trioplast, Rullpack and Miljösäck. By strengthen the brand FAS can make more money in these relations.

Syftet med följande arbete är att undersöka om och hur Learning study som är en metod att granska, analysera och utveckla pedagogiken, kan förbättra undervisningen i teater på gymnasiets teaterestetiska inriktning. Jag vill säkerställa att kommunikationen i undervisningen fungerar och förbättrar deras kunskaper gällande begreppet närvaro inom teaterämnet. Enligt den ryske teaterpedagogen Stanislavskij så innebär närvaro en överensstämmelse mellan skådespelarens övertygelse i karaktären och det uttryck skådespelare och regissör vill förmedla. (Järleby, 2001, s. 174-175.) I detta arbete har jag även reflekterat och redogjort för tidigare forskning genom två studier inom Learning Study och en studie i teater.

Fluids are important to the Visual Effects Industry but extremely hard to control and simulate because of the complexity of the governing equations. Fluid solvers can be divided into two categories, those of the Eulerian point of reference and those of the Lagrangian. Both categories have different advantages and weaknesses and hybrid methods are popular. This thesis examines Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, a Lagrangian method for physically based uid simulations. To allow the artist the exibility given by shorter simulation times and increased number of iterations, the performance of the solver is key.

The work was carried out on Termisk Systemteknisk?s office in Linköping. The aim was to create a computer system with infrared camera technology for quality control and temperature monitoring of manufacturing processes in industry. The system should be configurable such that it can be used on several different issues, including those where the real-time analysis of camera images is required.The developed system is based on an existing framework, Panola, to deal with measurement results and images in a database. The framework is built for the system continually check for new data , and the task was to create a foundation upon which to build systems that use the framework, but fully or partially utilize direct calls .

Projektets syft e har varit att ta fram ett par nya så kallade OTGskidglasögonför Scott Sports. OTG innebär speciellt anpassadeskidglasögon för glasögonanvändare. Konceptet ämnar också att geScott konceptuella lösningar för framtida produkter.Scotts produktportfolio sträcker sig över kategorierna cykel,motorcykel, vintersport och löpning med mottot ?innovation,technology and design?.Projektet har bestått av en analysfas, en kreativ fas och enpresentationsfas.Analysfasen har till stora delar bestått av användarstudier.Referensskidglasögon har testats, testmodeller byggts och testats,enkäter utförts och i den kreativa fasen har designförslag skissatsfram. Resultaten har analyserats och lett fram till en slutresultat.Slutdesignen är genom sin ram och totalvolym anpassad för OTGanvändare.Flera konceptuella funktioner och lösningar har tagitsfram: 1) Vidareutveckling av Scotts patenterade ?Scott fi t-system?.2) Ett nytt strapsystem som ger användaren möjlighet att göra sinaskidglasögon personliga samt passar åkare som har ?strappen?under hjälmen.

Computers together with Internet have been growing enormously, during the last decade and the area of information technology has been growing in the same speed. As long as the surrounding environment evolves, the business models must within the IT-area, keep the same pace. So, how do business corporations handle this change to attract customers? How do the dominant business models look like? In many cases, they are apparently much the same. But what differences can we see and what areas can be improved? We have showed that the IT area isn?t just one, it consist of several segments.
