Arbetsmotivation - en jämförande studie på ett svenskt företag
Känslan av att man alltid ska vara produktiv är medfödd hos oss människor. Att få de anställda att vara motiverade och därmed prestera bra på arbetet är något som blivit en utmaning för arbetsgivarna, eftersom många arbetstagare numera söker arbetstillfredsställelse på andra sätt än bara genom det faktum att man får lön för mödan. För att undersöka huruvida arbetsmotivationen skiljer sig beroende på kön, tjänst och arbetslivserfarenhet genomfördes en enkätundersökning på ett medelstort svenskt företag. Enkäten innehöll fem frågeområden som tillsammans mäter arbetsmotivation. Deltagare var 64 anställda, varav 48 män och 16 kvinnor.

The main goal was to develop a concept that is possible to implement in the Scania CV AB Fleet Management System. Another goal was to develop a security model that will be used as a tool during Scania CV AB?s future development projects of transport security concepts.The work was divided into three main parts: a background study, handling cargo crime, transport security Scania CV AB trucks and market analysis, a stakeholder investigation including a questionnaire and interviews, and a concept development session.

From the customer?s perspective the only reason for a firm to exist is the value it creates. However, a problem within manufacturing companies is that of the total lead time, only a small part can be considered as value adding. It has further been discovered that when working with improvements businesses often sub-optimizes single processes instead of considering what benefits the entire company. Thus, when improving processes and activities it is important to have knowledge about and understand which factors that affect how the flow can be designed.Several studies have been performed with a wide perspective on process flows in order to obtain a more resource-efficient and value added flow.
"Sour Milk" Corporate Branding under Surrogate Boycotts - the case of Arla Foods in the Muhammad Crisis
Surrogate boycotts are highly threatening for corporations in terms of both economical cost and image damage. All corporations are due to our globalized environment and increased stakeholder fragmentation gradually more risking to become victims of surrogate boycotts, which of nature is hard if not impossible to predict and prevent. Corporations are generally recommended to build clear and strong corporate identities, which should be reflected in their most important stakeholders, as this will secure minimum damage on the corporate image.
Even a surrogate boycott situation can have positive effects on corporations, especially in terms of image, as such situation increases the brand involvement and thereby make it possible for corporations to connect with important stakeholders on an emotional level.

Trivsel på arbetet : Trivselns medierande roll mellan psykologiskt klimat och arbetsattityder
Denna studie undersöker den arbetsrelaterade trivselns medierande roll i sambandet mellan det psykologiska arbetsklimatets och arbetsattityderna organisatoriskt åtagande (organizational commitment), arbetsinlevelse (job involvement), arbetsengagemang (work engagement) och avslutsintention. Undersökningen är genomförd på Patent- och registreringsverket och bygger på en enkätstudie bland verkets medarbetare (n = 140). Resultat av hierarkisk regressionsanalys visar att klimatfaktorer i hög grad kunde predicera trivsel, som i sin tur åtminstone partiellt medierade klimatets effekter på tre av de fyra arbetsattityderna, dock inte arbetsinlevelse. Slutsatsen blir att det finns ekonomiska argument för organisationer att främja trivseln på arbetsplatsen. Ett sådant arbete kan dock vara svårt att genomföra i praktiken, främst på grund av trivselns inneboende subjektivitet och mångtydighet..

For many companies, this can appear as a difficult, time- and resource taking process but to advance and develop it is not enough to have a good position on the Swedish market. The company Akzo Nobel Nippon Paint AB, which this composition is about, has taken the risk to leave the home country and explore the unknown. The process was careful and long-termed but also profitable.
Ip-telefoni med Skype som ett alternativ till PSTN för privatanvändare
The project is a practical and theoretical test of IP telephony with Skype in order to form a base for a comparison between IP-Telephony with Skype and the Public Switched Telephony Network (PSTN). PSTN is the common standard that most of us use for telephony today. The objective for the study is to simplify the choice between PSTN and IP-Telephony for the Swedish private customer user group. The project is supposed to answer the following questions. - How easy is it to start using IP-telephony with Skype? - How is the quality of IP-telephony compared to PSTN? - Are all services provided by PSTN available and accessible using the IP-solution? - How are the usability and the availability of support with IP telephony? - Is IP-telephony a cheaper solution and in that case under which circumstances? Within the project a collection of practical and theoretical tests have been performed to be able to form an opinion on the IP-solution in the following areas, installation, function, quality, usability, costs, accessibility and security.

This study has been conducted with the purpose to examine the marketing effects of waiting lines on the customer- and brand experience. Our ambition has been to describe how the waiting line can be used to heighten the positive experiences. The study has had a qualitative, as well as an inductive approach towards the subject. The study is mainly based on nine interviews with a total of ten respondents employed at nine different companies relevant to the subject. This paper aims to discover if the customers meeting with a company?s website can be described through theories derived from both web usability and theories concerning physical meetings between customers and salespersons in a traditional way. The conducted research involves five interviews as well as participating observations witch where analyzed with a hermeneutical approach. Förskollärarens roll i barns lek : En studie om förskollärares syn på sitt deltagande i barns lek
The purpose of this study is to gain knowledge about how teachers in preschool regard their participation in children's play. Through this study you will get an insight into how teachers' involvement affects children's learning. I have chosen to look at the study from a socio-cultural perspective.The study is based on qualitative interviews with four pre-school teachers.The result shows that teachers believe that it is important to attend in children's play to support, challenge and develop their play. One sees that teachers take different roles based on the needs of the children?s group, such as actively participate in the play, being a supportive teacher, serve as inspiration or to be an observer.

The aim of the study was to understand how the family home secretary reasons and thinks and how they express themselves in their actions towards the family home?s biological children. The method used is qualitative semi-structured interviews, involving six family home secretaries from four different municipalities. The results were analyzed with the help of two theories ? the theory of grassroots bureaucracy and the sociology of childhood theory.
Från loj till lojal : En fallstudie avseende företag inom telekombranschen & deras förmåga till värdeskapande processer.
Denna uppsats handlar om att finna de faktorer som är viktiga för att företag inom telekommunikationsbranschen skall kunna behålla sina kunder då kärnprodukten inte längre räcker till som konkurrensmedel.Orsaker som ligger till grund för dagens situation är juridiska förändringar, globala förutsättningar samt den tekniska utvecklingen. Mot bakgrund av detta har det blivit nödvändigt att skapa värden som sträcker sig utöver kärnprodukten och därigenom tillgodoser befintliga kunders behov. De aktörer som inte klarar av detta menar vi kommer att tappa marknadsandelar och tids nog försvinna från marknaden.De fenomen som vi valt att peka på i uppsatsen är konkurrens, globalisering samt vikten av att skapa värden. För att belysa dessa har följande teorier valts; Värdekedja/ Värdestjärna, Målstyrning/ Processtyrning, Värdeskapande genom induktion, Involvement Theory, Affärsidé samt Service Management (Tjänstevision/ Tjänstekoncept). Ur dessa teorier har sedan följande syntes mynnat ut;Företaget bör:? genom interaktion med kunden upptäcka vad denne önskar sig av produkten/tjänsten och vad som får honom/henne involverad.? utforma kunderbjudandet efter de kriterier som framkommit genom interaktion, samt i enighet med företagets struktur? implementera den information som skapat företagets struktur, detta för att kundens önskemål skall formas till konkreta erbjudanden.Empirin är hämtad genom både kvalitativ och kvantitativ datainsamling.
Inträdes- och utträdesbarriärer : småföretagens rörlighet på den gotländska bankmarknaden
The main purpose of this study was to investigate which enter- and exit barriers that exist on the banking market for small enterprises located within the region of Gotland. The reason was to examine and identify which barriers that could affect the mobility among small enterprise bank customers on the bank market. To identify the barriers, the study was carried out partly by a quantitative survey with 33 small business owners respondents located at three different concentrated small enterprise areas within the region of Gotland. And partly by qualitative interviews that were conducted with two employees at Länsförsäkringar Gotland Bank.The result indicated that the enter barrier mostly depended on the aspect that business owners of small enterprises believed that bank switching were complicated. The business owners did also consider bank switching as time demanding.
Adaptive Capacity through Complex Adaptive System
Problem: The corrugated board industry is highly affected by customer uncertainty, various demands and short delivery times. In combination with a complex multi-step production process managers have to be able to identify bottle-necks and gain knowledge and understanding of how different changes in process will affect the production output. <br/><br/>Purpose: The purpose of this master thesis is twofold, (1) to examine applicability of complexity theory through agent-based modelling on a production process (2) to identify improvement areas in order to increase the production output at SKS production site in Eslöv, by modelling and simulating the production process through an agent-based model. <br/><br/>Method: The chosen method of this study is a combination of a case study and a complex system approach. The empirical data was collected through interviews, observation and document studies which were analysed through an agent-based simulation model.
En bostadsrättsförenings påverkan i kommunikation genom en Internetportal
Internet has given possibilities to a whole new world within communication. Nowadays the communication inside organisations and companies takes place through the Internet. The idea of this paper arose when one of the authors discussed the general involvement of the tenant-owner?s association in the committee. Providing a new channel for communication through a homepage could affect the attitude of the tenants. We were curious of what effect on communication introducing a homepage would give.
