Brominated flame retardants (BFRs) has for many years been used in products to reduce their flammability, mainly in electronic products, textiles and construction materials. In 2003, Sweden imported 300 tons of brominated flame retardants. Leakage of these compounds has polluted natural environments. Fishes has shown increased contents of these substances, especially fat fish, since brominated flame retardants tends to accumulate in fatty tissues. They are also regarded as persistent and that gives them the ability to travel long distances. What also is really scary is that increased levels of brominated flame retardants have been detected in human breast milk. The knowledge of the brominated flame retardants is limited and not so much research has been done in this field. There are many reasons though, to keep the research going. Partly their structural resemblance to well-known toxics as PCB, but also their ability to accumulate in biological systems and enrich in food chains. In which way they affect humans we really don?t know yet.

The purpose of this work is to see if the students, on two separate high schools, understand what skills you should achieve after completing the course in physical education and health A 100 points. The entire study is based on a student perspective. In order to best answer the purpose, the questionnaire used in the "available groups" in schools. The questions for the work are: To what extent and how students perceive what they should achieve after completing the course in Sport and Health A?, Which is the goal, based on the curriculum in Physical Education, that students feel are important to achieve? and how do a comparison like between these two schools on the basis of what students perceive that they must achieve in Sport and Health A?The result shows that the main goal that finds support in the course objectives is an assertion; Has knowledge of what to eat to maintain or improve health, which over 90% of students had checked in.

As background for this study stands the debate and discussion in the society around the tablet as a pedagogical tool in preschool. The purpose of this study is to obtain and analyze 69 preschool teachers? opinions about the tablet?s introduction and use in preschool. The study also investigates the preschool teachers? opinions about their mission for multimedia and technology in the preschool curriculum, Lpfö 98, reviderad 2010.

Företag blir allt mer globala och investeringar i utländska företag blir allt vanligare. Att investera över gränserna kan vara komplext då redovisningsreglerna länge skiljt sig åt i olika länder. Behovet av att reducera skillnader som finns i redovisningen har länge varit stort. För att komma till rätta med detta tog Europaparlamentet år 2002 ett beslut om att införa International Accounting Standards/International Financial Reporting Standards (IAS/IFRS) inom EU och en process inleddes som innebar att alla medlemsländer ska redovisa enligt IAS/IFRS. I och med att Sverige är med i EU ska alla noterade företag i landet upprätta sin koncernredovisning enligt IAS/IFRS-standarderna från och med början av år 2005.Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att beskriva hur redovisningen av svenska bankers finansiella instrument har förändrats i och med införandet av IASB:s redovisningsstandarder.

Denna kandidatuppsats är en fallstudie av webblösningar och specifikt kring ekonomiprogram. Studien omfattar en undersökning för att ta reda på orsakerna till att inte fler småföretagare går över till webbaserade lösningar, detta är idag högst aktuellt eftersom det blir allt mer populärt att arbeta i molnet. Molntjänster är ett relativt nytt sätt att arbeta på och det innebär stora förändringar för företagen samtidigt som de erbjuder fler möjligheter än tidigare. I och med den ökade betydelsen av molntjänster och dess arbetssätt har vi även undersökt vad det finns för fördelar med webblösningar med hjälp av befintliga användare. Syftet med uppsatsen är att lyfta fram vilka som är orsakerna till att inte fler använder webblösningar, samt vilka fördelar det finns.

The task in this master thesis was to design and construct a prototype of a satellite antenna driver unit. The unit is to be robust and work in cold weather down to -40°C, so that it can be mounted on the roof of a minibus. A microcontroller controls the H-bridges simultaneous, each connected to an electrical motor. Hardware and software protections were implemented to ensure that the antenna can not turn outside its allowed area and risk breaking. The unit can output voltages at many different levels and communicate at a multitude of signal standards..

Bakgrund och problem: IFRS 8, rörelsesegment, är ett resultat av det samarbetsprojekt som pågår mellan de två dominerande normsättarna på redovisningsområdet, International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) och Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). IASB offentliggjorde i november år 2006 IFRS 8 som ersatte IAS 14, segmentrapportering, för räkenskapsår från och med 1 januari år 2009. IFRS 8, har till skillnad från IAS 14 ledningsperspektiv på sin segmentrapportering i de finansiella rapporterna, vilket kan bidra till lägre jämförbarhet mellan företagen och högre relevans.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att identifiera skillnaderna mellan IAS 14 och IFRS 8 vad gäller antalet segment, mellan årsredovisningen för år 2008 och första kvartalsrapporten för år 2009. Syftet mer konkret, är att undersöka om företagen i studien har förändrat antalet segment samt om det påverkat jämförbarheten.Metod: Urvalet för studien är de 255 företag som var listade Stockholmsbörsens listor Large Cap, Mid Cap och Small Cap den 9e november 2009. Studiens är en jämförelse på företagens förändring i antal rapporterade segment mellan årsredovisningen år 2008 och första kvartalsrapporten för år 2009.Resultat och slutsatser: Författarna kan inte statistiskt säkerhetsställa att en förändring skett i antalet segment.

I början av 2000-talet inträffade flera stora revisionsskandaler i världen vilket ledde till en förtroendekris för revisioner. ISA implementerades som ett svar på 2000-talets revisionsskandaler som uppmärksammats internationellt och syftar till att förbättra revisionens kvalité och likformighet i världen. Syftet med studien är att förstå vilka upplevelser revisorer har om implementeringen av ISA genom att beskriva och analysera revisorernas upplevelser av vilka effekter implementeringen av ISA medfört på revisionskvalitén. Problemformuleringen som studien utgått från är följande: Hur upplever revisorer att revisionskvalitén har förändrats sedan ISA implementerades i Sverige? Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats med en abduktiv strategi då både den teoretiska referensramen och det empiriska materialet varit utgångspunkt för vår studie.

The purpose of our work has been to investigate how gender is viewed by pre-school teachers, as well as taken into account in their everyday work. We have also looked into how gender plays a part in the planning and shaping of the pedagogical environment.Our work is based upon qualitative research method, as we have conducted several qualitative interviews at different pre-schools along the way. The current curriculum requires a well functioning school library and an active use of it. In junior school grades 1-3 the children primarily learn basic skills. Knowledge about libraries and how to use them and different media is part of these skills. Therefore my intention was to investigate how school libraries in junior schools look, how they are used in the training and how they could be used in junior school education. I focus on the pedagogic role of the school library and the library as information center.I begin by going through what the school law and the curriculum say - or do not say - about the use of the school library.

AbstractAccording to a lot of people, movement contributes with a whole lot of positive things such as, learning, a better bodyknowledge, fellowship and koncentration. Movement has also proved to support many things regarding childrens development. According to Gun Sandborg-Holmdahl who is a teacher in pedagogic and Birgitta Stening who is an physical education teacher, movement and games commits many of the human senses wich contributes childrens ability to use their amagination and also spontanity. Games and movements have also shown to have good effects when it comes to childrens increased feeling to learn things. I have in this study, studied the South African school and their wiew on movement in school.

This thesis examines how role-playing games can be used as an educational tool in after-school programs and identifies the challenges and opportunities perceived by both students and teachers. The study is based on qualitative methods, with interviews with after-school teachers and children in after-school programs with their observations of role-playing activities in a municipality. The results show that role-playing games promote social development, creative thinking, problem-solving, and language development. Students reported increased motivation and engagement, while teachers observed improved relationships and an inclusive environment where students could explore different roles and perspectives. The research links these findings to previous studies that highlight the potential of role-playing games to develop empathy, collaboration skills, and critical thinking (Daniau, 2016; Trespalacios et al., 2011; Suryani et al., 2020). Furthermore, our findings support the curriculum goals of student influence and situational learning, emphasizing the importance of students' own initiatives and responsibility in educational activities (Lgr22, 2022). The study also identifies challenges, such as teachers' uncertainty about introducing and leading role-playing games due to a lack of expertise.

This study focuses on teachers? and pupils? experiences of their use of one-to-one computers in civics education in Swedish upper secondary school. The experiences of teachers and pupils will also be put in relation to the content of the formal curriculum. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the access of one-to-one computers has changed teaching and learning within civics. The theoretical approaches used are both Tomas Kroksmark?s theory about traditional versus innovative learning and Ruben Puentedura?s SAMR-model.
