The aim of the study is to learn more about the way preschool teachers work with Information and Communication Technology(ICT). More specifically, this study aims to explore how preschool teachers describe their experience of ICT, the conditions and opportunities to work with ICT, and their own knowledge and competence in the use of digital tools with preschool children. The research method consists of interviews with preschool teachers and observations at five municipal preschools in Stockholm as well as an analysis of the relevant passages in the Curriculum for the Preschool and the Curriculum of Stockholm city. This study shows that there seems to be great variation in the amount of ICT tools present in preschools. Preschool teachers expect a lot from ICT, and the improvements that it can make on their work.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och problematisera den ideale medborgaren i Lgr11 och Making the PYP happen: A curriculum framework for international primary education (2009). En kvalitativ textanalys av de båda läroplanerna har genomförts för att undersöka karakteristiska drag och färdigheter hos den ideale medborgaren, samt bakomliggande filosofier och begränsningar.De två läroplanerna och deras medborgarideal är på många sätt väldigt lika varandra, men de olika påverkansfaktorerna leder dem till olika uttryck av deras demokratiska grundtanke. Analysen visar att de båda läroplanerna ligger i linje med den internationella läroplansutvecklingen vad gäller sitt demokratiska medborgarskapsideal, men att Making the PYP happen: A curriculum framework for international primary education (2009) påvisar en mer konsekvent och aktiv tolkning av den demokratiska medborgaren. De två läroplanerna är grundade i olika pedagogiker och läroplanskoder, något som påverkar elevens relation till stoffet och därmed även beskrivningen av den ideale medborgaren. Som andra läroplaner är de formulerade på ett särskilt sätt av särskilda anledningar, något som kräver en medveten hållning hos de lärare som vill utbilda demokratiska och källkritiska medborgare ? i enlighet med läroplanen!.

The study's aim is to implement a textbook analysis and examine how women are described in history textbooks for high school and in the curriculums Lgy 70, Lpf 94 and Gy 11. The study has a gender perspective and the study's purpose is to make a comparative study and compare textbooks with the current curriculum and compare the results with each other to see if there has been any change over time. The survey's material is three editions of Alla tiders historia from Gleerups förlag. The study refers to editions from 1989, 1996 and 2011. General parts from Lgy 70, Lpf 94 and Gy 11 are also central for my study.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate how librarians solve difficult reference questions. The aim is to discuss the nature of reference work ? do librarians make conscious decisions regarding search strategies or do they rely principally on their instincts, or simply chance. The thesis is a qualitative study.

Enligt teorin om öppen ränteparitet (UIP) ska den förväntade nominella växelkursförändringen motsvara räntedifferensen mellan två länder. I själva verket visar de flesta studier att teorin inte håller och att det förekommer ett signifikant negativt samband mellan variablerna istället för det positiva sambandet som följer av teorin (Froot&Thaler 1990, McCallum 1994). Även i denna uppsats konstateras ett negativt samband, vilket innebär att UIP kan förkastas för Sverige och USA under perioden 1994:1-2006:2. En amerikansk investerare som köper svenska statsskuldväxlar får således förutom en högre ränta även avkastning i form av en apprecierande växelkurs. I uppsatsen undersöks om avvikelsen från teorin kan förklaras utifrån förekomsten av en riskpremie för det mindre landet Sverige.

The aim of this paper is to elucidate and analyze history teacher's didactic choices in the conflict between unequal educational materials and the requirements of equality in the curriculum of Swedish secondary school. The empirical data consists of interviews with five secondary school history teachers, observations of their lessons as well as analysis of their tests. The starting point was to investigate teachers' didactic work in the role as a bridge between the non-equal historiography presented in textbooks in history and the curriculum?s demands for equality. Three different approaches have been observed in the teachers' didactic work when considering gender perspective into their teaching: that women become extensions in a male-dominated historiography; that another part of the story is presented when a gender perspective is considered; and that the gender perspective is included in history teaching and becomes an integral part of all the content of the subject.Several of the teachers acknowledged that gender equality is less prioritized than the courses core content and related assessment criteria.

I 1994 års införda mål- och kunskapsrelaterade betygssystem genomförs inte jämförelser sinsemellan eleverna vilket gjordes inom det tidigare betygssystemet. Bedömningen i det mål- och kunskapsrelaterade betygssystemet grundar sig på bedömningar av elevers prestation i förhållande till kursplanens preciserade mål, vilka uppger vad eleven skall behärska inom ett särskilt kunskapsområde. I Läroplanen för det obligatoriska skolväsendet, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet 1994, Lpo 94, finns mål och riktlinjer angivna både för bedömning och för betygssättning. Kunskaper som en elev skall utveckla finns angivna i kursplanernas mål för en kurs eller ett ämne, en precision av vilka kunskapskvaliteter som är gällande för varje betyg finns beskrivet i betygskriterierna. I Läroplanen för det obligatoriska skolväsendet, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet 1994 står att läsa ?Skolans uppdrag är att främja lärande där individen stimuleras till att inhämta kunskaper? (Skolverket, 2006 s.5).

The aim of our graduate work is to study the importance of image and shape?s in children's development and learning and also the preschool teacher?s views on image and shapes. Our research aims to explore the value of image and shapes creation and how it is expressed among children and in classroom activities. We are also interested in finding out how it differs from adults' views and what materials teachers use to promote the image and shapes creation in the curriculum. In our own experience, image and shapes activities are often structured differently in different curriculum activities.

This is a hermeneutic study that analyzes and discusses whether it is possible to find Christian ethics in the TV-series Beverly Hills 90210 (1990) and the spin-off 90210 (2008) and how they differ in the preparation of these. I also aim to, based on my research, illustrate the discussion of Christian ethics in the curriculum and why we need a multicultural education.I have chosen three episode of both TV-series and I divided each episode into different themes, each theme is a phenomenon that I perceive to be a part of a Christian ethical position. Then I argue, using the theologian Stanley Hauerwas, these themes really can relate to what may be perceived as Christian ethics. In order to discuss how Christian ethics and secular ideals are connected I find the theory of secularization usefull. The results I came upwith is that I find a theme in each episode which I percieve to be a part of a Christian ethical position.

Syftet med detta arbete är att försöka få en bild av vad det var som gjorde att kursen Estetisk verksamhet ansågs viktig nog att bli ett kärnämne 1994, och varför den inte längre ansågs viktig och togs bort 2011. Med hjälp av kritisk diskursanalys undersöks argument för och emot kursen som de förs fram i texter från regering, riksdag och media vid dessa tidpunkter, med betoning på vad dessa säger om kursens status och position i gymnasiet och i den skolpolitiska debatten. Studien visar att när Estetisk verksamhet infördes 1994 var det för att låta eleverna uppleva och själva skapa, baserat i en humanistisk diskurs. När kursen togs bort 2011 var det för att andra ämnen ansågs behöva mer utrymme för att ge eleverna en tydligare yrkes- eller högskoleförberedande utbildning, baserat i en marknadsekonomisk diskurs. Fokus för vad som var viktigt i gymnasieskolan skiftade under de sjutton år som gått däremellan, och i den nya läroplanens inriktning på nyttobaserad utbildning fick inte Estetisk verksamhet plats. Den skolpolistiska synen på kunskap förändrades från en demokratisk tanke om att ge alla samma möjligheter, till ett differentierat ideal där individens kunskap ska vara mätbar och samhällsnyttig. .

Many political reforms are currently implemented in the Swedish schools. The trend indicate that education in Sweden follows neo-liberal restructuring policy, that highlights assessment, marketization and surveillance in different aspects. According to the new curriculum LGR 11 the school head is the school's educational leader with responsibility for the school's results and development. The reforms put new demands on the school heads tasks, their responsibility and leadership. The aim of my research study is to investigate how the school heads experience andhandle this situation.

Language choice is a required course in years 6-9 of compulsory school. Those who do not wish to study a Modern language of French, Spanish or German may choose language choice English or language choice Swedish instead. These two courses are meant to provide students with additional support and advanced work in those subjects. Although grades are given in Modern Languages, language choice English and Swedish do not merit a grade. Neither language choice English nor language choice Swedish has a set curriculum or syllabus.

This paper attempts to survey the debate in the Swedish parliament on state surveillance on the Internet, from 1994 to March, 2007. With a discourse analysis inspired by Foucault, we follow how the idea of state surveillance is viewed by politicians during the period. By focusing on the Internet, we expect to find how politicians in the parliament regard the idea of an unregulated forum for citizen communication and interaction, and how the need for state surveillance on the new arena that is Internet, is expressed and argued for. Theoretical framework is given by Foucault?s theory of the Panoptic state, as well as his thoughts on discourse, power and governmentality.

Till min uppsats valde jag att koncentrera mig på två verk, Post Office och Factotum, av författaren Charles Bukowski (1920-1994). Huvudpersonen i båda romanerna kallas Henry Chinaski och är en mycket komplicerad karaktär. För att kunna analysera dennes självdestruktivitet samt syn på kvinnor och arbete anlade jag ett mansforskningsperspektiv, något som jag också utförligt beskriver..

In this essay, I examine teachers' different approaches, responsibilities and child perspective on preschool. I discuss how important it is that we educators in preschool work together as a team about childcare and learning. Our attitudes affect the children.In the essay, I show examples of different attitude and approach to learning and the significance of the educational awareness that characterize the work of the nursery. We have different approaches and standards that are influenced by our cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds. It plays a major role in how we interpret and understand various situations in preschool.I also discuss preschool teacher's responsibility and teamwork, and how it affects children.
