OmtÀnksamma flickor och tÀvlande pojkar : En undersökning av hur flickor och pojkar framstÀlls i sex utvalda matematikböcker för Ärskurs 3 och 4

The purpose with this essay was to study and analyze how gender roles is represented in six different mathematic books for children in the third and fourth grade and to see if the books counteract or reinforces traditional gender roles. It was also to see if the mathematic books follow the goals in the curriculum. I had four questions that I focused on while analyzing the mathematic books:What kind of activities does girls and boys like in the exercises in the mathematic books?What does girls and boys own in the exercises in the mathematic books?What does the relationships look like between different persons in the mathematic books?Based on the results from questions 1-3, do these six mathematic books try to follow the curriculum?The results of this study shows that girls often can be interested in things that usually is seen as either girlish or boyish, while boys mostly is interested in things that is seen as boyish. I got almost the same results when it comes to the second question, girls can buy things that is often seen as either girlish or boyish, while boys mostly buy things that is seen as boyish.

ImpopulÀr skola : En studie i hur den svenska skolan har anvÀnt sig av populÀrkultur i undervisningen 1919-2011

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative method to investigate the Swedish curriculums of 1919, 1962 and 2011 in search of attitudes and different usages of the popular culture of the time. To reach these conclusions Antonio Gramsci?s theories about cultural hegemony have been applied to prove how the superior classes, in this study these classes are represented by the Swedish school as an institution, use popular culture to maintain sovereignty of the lower classes. Ergo the problem highlighted in this study is whether the cultural class society exists in a fixed state since the 1919?s with the school as the institution to implement the tradition of cultural hegemony.

The purpose of this paper is to try to understand which negative effects grading and judging in art class can have on the students. The emphasise lies on how the media specific parts of the subject is affected. The goal is to get knowledge how students experience getting judged and graded and how this affects them, hence understanding which factors affects them in a positive or negative way in this process. The literature study starts with a historical survey of the swedish grading system and the art subject in Swedish schools. It countinues to explain the current curriculum with an emphasise on art.

Dolls 4R: Ett mÄtt pÄ kunskapsutveckling? : En studie om bedömning av studentens kunskapsutveckling

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine a way to measure students? knowledge development by using a self-made measure instrument based on William Doll?s postmodern curriculum.Question: Is it suitable to use an self-made measure instrument based on William Doll?s post-modern curriculum theory to measure development of knowledge?Methods: The study was based on process-hermeneutics and was focused on analysingcollege students? written and oral reflective thoughts. The data was collected over three lessons, where six students? written reflective thoughts were handed in. An observation was carried out each lesson for an extra control of validity.

Individual adaption to the studentÂŽs needs is a recurring main theme in the new Swedish curriculum (Lgr11). The purpose of this qualitative study is to examine how teachers work with individual adjustment for students with reading and writing difficulties. The study was based on five questions;In what way do teachers organize their teaching in the classroom individually for students with reading and writing difficulties?What methods do they use for studentÂŽs with reading and writing difficulties?What difficulties do they encounter in their teaching?How do the teachers reason to curriculum goals regarding individual adaptions?How do they think about their own knowledge regarding reading- and writing difficulties and dyslexia?The method for my study was qualitative interviews. Five teachers were interviewed in semi-structured interviews.

Transaktioner pÄ den kommersiella fastighetsmarknaden 2011 : Trender och fallstudier

Syftet med detta examensarbete Àr att kartlÀgga nÄgra av de största transaktionerna pÄ den svenska fastighetsmarknaden under 2011. Detta Är har kÀnnetecknats av lÀgre transaktionsvolym Àn föregÄende Är, bland annat pÄ grund av ett osÀkrare ekonomiskt lÀge.Teorin har sin utgÄngspunkt i vilka aktörer som finns pÄ marknaden och vilken roll konsulten, utlÀndska investerare och banker spelar samt hur utvecklingen av fastighetstransaktions marknaden i Sverige sett ut fram tills idag. KartlÀggningen har gjorts pÄ sÀtt att försöka fÄ med de flesta typer av aktörer och utreda varje transaktion för sig samt ge en nÀrmare analys av dessa.KartlÀggningen visar att de största transaktionerna i Sverige under 2011 gjordes av bÄde noterade och onoterade fastighetsbolag pÄ köpsidan, samt onoterade fastighetsbolag pÄ sÀljsidan.Att döma av fjolÄrets utveckling marknadsmÀssigt pekar en hel del pÄ att den kraftiga tillvÀxten i Sverige kommer att leda till mer arbetstillfÀllen, med fallande vakanser och stigande hyror som konsekvens pÄ den svenska fastighetsmarknaden..

Team Foundation Server 2010 : En utvÀrdering av mÀtetal för projektkvalitet

PÄ Trafikverkets centrala funktion IT anvÀnds Team Foundation Server 2010 för projekthantering. UtifrÄn detta system det Àr det möjligt att fÄ fram mÀtetal som visar information om olika projekt. I denna fallstudie undersöks, med hjÀlp av intervjuer, vilka av dessa mÀtetal som kan anvÀndas för att visa en relevant bild av kvaliteten pÄ ett systemutvecklingsprojekt. En modell presenteras för hur olika mÀtetal skulle kunna vÀgas samman för att fungera som en siffra pÄ ett projekts kvalitet/hÀlsa. Till sist utvÀrderas om mÀtetal frÄn TFS Àr tillrÀckliga för att ge en bra bild av kvaliteten pÄ ett systemutvecklings-projekt.

Skolan, individen, marknaden och demokratin : LGR11 ? instrumentalisering pÄ bekostnad av subjektivitet?

Individens roll har gÄtt frÄn att vara en del av ett kollektiv till att vara primÀr i den svenska skolan. Samtidigt har tidigare forskning visat pÄ hur olika konkurrerande utbildningskonceptioner, som marknadisering, instrumentalisering, kommunikativa osv, format lÀroplanerna. I detta stÀlls individ mot kollektiv, effektivitet mot kommunikation och frÄgor om demokratiska vÀrden samt etik och moral blir högst aktuella. Syftet med detta arbete Àr att se hur lÀroplanen eller mer specifikt vÀrdegrunden frÄn Är 2011 förhÄller sig till dessa konceptioner. Genom kritisk diskursanalys av vÀrdegrunden i lÀroplanen frÄn 2011 i förhÄllande lÀroplanen frÄn 1994 samt till fysikÀmnets kursplan (1994/2011) diskuteras dessa konceptioner utifrÄn möjliga konsekvenser för lÀrares sociala praktik.

The purpose of this essay is to explore how educators are supposed to prioritize their work at the preschool so that all children are listened to and the conditions necessary for kids to dare to express their feelings and thoughts are in place. How is the relationship important for the child's learning? How do I become a committed educator who knows how to interpret and prioritize my work so it benefits children's learning? I am developing these questions in two parts in my following text. Firstly I am writing about why it is important that we who work as pedagogues meet the child on the child?s own terms.

Miljöpartiets kÀnslomÀssiga positionering : En studie av Miljöpartiets retorik under valet 2010

Uppsatsens syfte: Att undersöka hur förÀldrar idag pÄverkas av hÀlsodebatten kring socker. This degree project shows how four language teachers teach foreign languages with focus oncommunicative competence, and how their vision of teaching correspond to their reality in the classroom. How do they motivate the students in class and are the conditions good enough tohelp the teachers reach the national goals? A teacher?s vision is formed by his or her education and experiences. However, there are a number of factors which can help or hinder a teacher to reach his or her ideal teaching. Among these factors are the curriculum, the preknowledgeof the students and available technical resources.

Skyddet för visselblÄsare i offentligt finansierad privat verksamhet

For a long time economic tax equalization system in Sweden has been creating dispute between Swedish communities. Despite the main purpose of the system - to reduce disparities and create equal economic opportunities for all communities ? some regions were not satisfied.The main purpose of this study is to determine what extant has equalization tax on investment spending of Danderyd municipality during 2000-2010 year period. The study is based on annual reports and personal interviews. The theoretical frame of the investigation is founded on Fjertorp's classification of investments and public choice theory.The investigation shows that there were no significant changes neither in investment spending or equalization tax during 2000-2010 period, even after the last changes of economic tax equalizations system in 2005.

VarumÀrken i idrottsgymnasiers marknadsföring - Vilka passar din idrott bÀst?

The upper secondary school 2011 (Gy 2011) was a reform which created large changes in the Swedish educational system. One of the major changes was the requirement of certification for sport schools. Schools in Sweden have historically used sports in their marketing, this opportunity was impaired by the reform. This thesis aims to investigate how brands are applied on webpages of sport schools that are certified in football and/or cross-country skiing. Content analysis was used as method of data collection.
