Standardisering VS anpassning- En fallstudie om Electrolux
The study focuses on the use of poetry in language teaching in the lower grades in the Swedish school. Poetry has a reputation of being an art form with such specific rules and structures that children and teachers think that it is something that they do not have the ability to work with. The purpose of this study is to get an understanding of how poetry is used in educating children. My research is based on the following questions. To which extent is poetry being used in schools and how is it being used?Can you as a teacher see any effects on childrens language development by using poetry?As a part of my study I have met with and interviewed four different people, who in one way or another is involved in teaching children. Two working teachers in the lower grades, one pedagogical resource and one artist that work with teachers in reaching different goals through the help of aesthetic processes.

The purpose of this essay has been to investigate the research and national initiatives regarding film and Cineliteracy in the Swedish curriculum.The results show that, after all research, national initiatives and the continual clarification from the Swedish National Agency for Education concerning film's place in the Swedish subject, the vision of students cineliteracy not at all obtain an obvious place in the curriculum.The research points out the main causes behind this result to be teachers' lack of expertise and the fact that the formal education for future teachers in the subject still upholds traditional views on the subject of Swedish.The initiative presented in this essay also show lack of continuity, lack of adequate professional development opportunities for teachers and lack of practical guidance manuals to help teachers to develop and educate their pupils in line with current research and visions. .

Resultatet visar att det skapas ett ?vi och dom? genom att respondenterna sätter in sig själva i sammanhanget ?nationen Sverige? där det egna landet beskrivs som tryggt, gulligt och oskyldigt. På samma sätt tar de avstånd från ett utländskt ?dem? och de inbillade egenskaper som kommer med dem.

The purpose of the essay is to study documentation of teachers in reports of students? development at school. The study will concentrate on what teachers write in the reports, to what degree the written text refers to the aims of the Swedish curriculum and also to study what kind of language the teachers use in the reports, based on theories of professional language. The material used consists of written reports from two classes, one in the 6th and one in the 8th grade from two different schools. The reports come from six teachers altogether, and the text has been divided in phrases which have been categorized in different groups depending on the content and the language used.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the new Swedish curriculum, GY11 brought with it changes to how non-religious world-views are presented in five different books in religious education, RE. The method used to analyze the material was a qualitative content analysis as well as counting the pages that dealt with secular world-views. This was later analyzed using philosopher Charles Taylors description and theory on secularization. This was used to identify secular processes as well as to define wether the books definition and description of secular world-views using Taylors concept of ?exclusive humanism?.The research questions are:? What are the authors writing about when describing the secular world- views?? What differences and similarities are there between the different editions prior and after the implementation of the new curriculum, GY11?? Are the secular world-views presented in a way that is compatible with Taylors concept of ?exclusive humanism??The results that are being presented are, first of all that the change between the different editions are not big.

This study aims to highlight and analyze eight secondary teachers' views and thoughts on mathematics. Hopefully this study will provide a deeper understanding of how teachers think and reason about their subject and how this affects their teaching. The study was conducted using a qualitative interview method, based on interviews with eight middle school teachers who teach in school mathematics for grades 6 - 9. The interviews were recorded and then transcribed and analyzed. After the interview analysis one can conclude that the teachers? thoughts concern three main themes: the importance of mathematics, children?s lack of basic knowledge and the teachers? lack of time.In discussion and analysis the teachers conceptions of the own subject is being analyzed, and that is the foundation of this study.

This thesis will explore how swedish Talang 2010 used their strategic communication in Kalmar and Stockholm and how the effect of this work was shown in the two cities. With a focus on how the sender was working with the external communication in the two cities, the heart of the research was studying Talang 2010?s communication strategy in these two contexts. The research was made with surveys during two audition days in Kalmar and two days in Stockholm. The competitors, the audience and the general public were answering different surveys but with the same base to study the effect.
Fritidsverksamheten inifrån : Vad elever efterfrågar och fritidspedagoger vill erbjuda
Med anledning av att riksdagen år 2010 fastslog en ny läroplan för förskolan, Läroplan för förskolan 98 reviderad 2010, Lpfö 98 (rev. 2010), där målen kring naturvetenskap inom förskolan skärptes ställdes även högre krav på förskollärare. Istället för ett natur-vetenskapligt mål blev det nu tre mål som förskolan skulle sträva efter att uppnå. Denna studie syftar till att undersöka huruvida personal i förskolverksamheten upple-ver sig kunna uppnå målen i Lpfö 98 (rev, 2010). Vad de anser är viktiga argument för naturvetenskap i förskolan samt vad de tror är anledningen till att tidigare studier visat på att undervisningen inom naturvetenskap inom förskolan är bristfällig.
Framställningen av afrikanska landslag under fotbolls-VM 2010 i Dagens Nyheter och Expressen
Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats har varit att undersöka hur den svenska sportrapporteringen sett ut under världsmästerskapet i fotboll 2010 när det skrivits om afrikanska fotbollslandslag söder om Sahara. Hur skildras dessa afrikanska lag i de svenska reportrarnas rapportering?Utifrån 52 artiklar i Dagens Nyheter och Expressen under perioden 10 juni 2010 till 12 juli 2010 har en kvalitativ textanalys med ett diskursanalytiskt perspektiv utförts. Med en postkolonial teori utifrån Edward W. Saids orientalismbegrepp har materialet sedan analyserats.Analysen har visat hur dikotomin Vi och Dem har reproducerats, där de afrikanska fotbollslandslagen och deras spelare fått representera Dem i motsats till västvärldens Vi.

Värdegrunden i skolan : En kritisk studie av innehållet och arbetet med skolans värdegrund i en senmodern kontext
The purpose of this study is to investigate the content and work processes regarding the values written in the curriculum for Swedish high schools and compare it with theories regarding the individualized society and political moralism. After the clarification of the content in the values of Swedish high schools and the work processes that are supposed to give students fundamental understanding about them, I analyze and compere it to the theories that are presented in the study. The main questions of the study are the following: What kinds of values are found in the curriculum for Swedish high schools? In general, how do Swedish high schools work with the written values when focus have gone from education and learning to instrumental knowledge, results, abilities and flexibility?The result showed that the content and work processes regarding the values in Swedish high schools are purely instrumental and moralistic. Due to the fact, that the individualized society and the neoliberal ideology do not require reflection and real understanding regarding the values.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the high school textbook on religious studies differences in how Christian ethics and in what way it is presented in comparison with the presentation of Buddhism, Hinduism and Judaism and it´s ethics. The analyzed material is textbooks from the late 1960s to the 2010s. Due to the survey´s nature the focus is first and foremost the chapters dealing with religious ethical issues and what amount of pages or space the different religions are given in the books. The results from the textbooks are compared with the curriculum that is or was effective during the time the books were published. This is done to determine whether there is a clear link between the books and the guidelines of the curriculum.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the revised Planning and Building Act (SFS 2010:900) have influenced the comprehensive planning in Swedish municipalities. A focus is directed at examining how the new law regulates a greater consideration to climate aspects and the what consequences this results in regarding the implementation of the law in Swedish municipalities comprehensive plans.The paper is a case study, containing both quantitative and qualitative methods. The case study is based on three municipal comprehensive plans. Based on quantitative material three municipalities have been selected to constitute the sample of this study. These municipalities are A?lvsbyn, Sollentuna and Olofstro?m.
Folkmusik, främlingsfientlighet och Sverigedemokraterna : Debatt kring svensk folkmusik under 2010/2011
Under det senaste året har det friskt debatterats om svensk folklig kultur och inte minst folkmusikens traditioner; debatten initierades vid manifestationer, som väcktes under hösten 2010, mot presentationen av Sverigedemokraternas främlingsfientliga åsikter rörande den svenska kulturen.Uppsatsen redovisar hur debatten mellan folkmusiken och Sverigedemokraterna förts i media och vad SD:s vilja att värna folkkulturen skulle tänkas leda till. I texten tas det upp olika exempel som i sig ställer frågor om vad ?svenskhet? innebär och om traditioner skall konserveras eller kunna förändras. Utifrån artiklar och uttalanden i olika medier redovisas de åsikter som yttrats, främst koncentrerat på fyra folkmusikmagasin: Folkmusik & Dans, Hembygden, Lira Musikmagasin och Spelmannen.Studien visar att begrepp, som exempelvis ?folksjäl? och ?tradition?, har med tiden bytt innebörd.
