INFORMATIONSÖVERFÖRING OCH KUNSKAPSÅTERVINNING : En studie i kalkylöverlämningsprocessen hos Erlandsson Bygg i Öst AB
Many enterprises have shortcomings in the transfer of information between different departments. Furthermore, routines for maintaining knowledge in order to be able to use this experience in the future are often lacking. Time and resources spent on improving these systems and procedures can provide significant benefits in terms of saved time and reduced costs in the later stages of a project. The benefit of this is not only a greater clarity and a reduced risk of misunderstandings, but also the preservation of knowledge that would otherwise be lost.The aim of this study has been to examine the process of information transfer and the transfer of knowledge between the calculus department and production manager in projects at Erlandsson Bygg i Öst AB. An additional aim was suggestions for improvements in the calculation handover and at the end of a project, where it was possible.The study was primarily conducted through literature studies and interviews.

Conqueror for Indigo is production treated with an active chemical to maximize the ink adhesion.ArjoWiggins has found that another chemical, the candidate compound, would improve the propertiesof the paper. ArjoWiggins therefore wish to replace the current compound. To strengthenthe patent requirements for ink adhesion needs to be determined. A theory is developed to whychemicals with certain properties maximize the ink adhesion. Experiments are performed but theresults are inaccurate.
Olika typer av belöningars påverkan på arbetsmotivationen : En studie av anställda och chefers upplevelser av belöningssystem.
Den övergripande frågeställningen för denna studie är hur arbetsmotivation påverkas av olika typer av belöningar. Gröjer & Gröjer (1988) s.13 definierar belöning på följande vis ?Med belöning avses arbetsgivarens ekonomiska och sociala uppskattning till individer eller kollektiv utöver vad som antingen betraktas som en normal ersättning för en prestation eller som en allmän förmån som gäller alla.? I denna studie undersöks hur chefer och medarbetare upplever belöningens påverkan på arbetsmotivationen. Sju intervjuer genomfördes på ett företag vars lönesystem bestod av en fast- och en rörlig del. Resultatet av undersökningen visade att det oftast inte är den ekonomiska belöningen som medarbetarna upplever som motiverande, snarare beröm, feedback, arbetstrivsel och utvecklingsmöjligheter.

The purpose of the study was to identify and analyse the implications of client virtualisation in company environments. The study chose to focus on the aspects of the current hardware, license management, application management, maintenance work and the implications virtualization would have on these. The work in the study was chosen to limit itself to a Windows environment.The background to the study was due to a growing need to be more flexible and mobile in company environments and in collaboration with the University of Jönköping a problem description and the framing of questions was defined. The essay tooka qualitative initiative to comprehend the complexity of the problem at hand. The empirical data was collected from interviews, literature studies and laboratory work testing applications.

Abstract The main subject of this essay is conflicts at work and the effect it has on the employee´s health. I can through various reports read that bad health at workplaces is too high and that conflicts are a reason. What can be done to the work environment so it will be better from a psychosocial perspective? Sweden has a regulation that makes the employer responsible to work for an improvement in the work environment; can these regulations be used in purpose to reduce conflicts?My first question concerns the possibility to establish preventive procedures in the workplace systematic work regarding to improve the work environment. My second question is about the obligations of the employer to attempt to reduce conflicts at the workplace and the third question regards the documenting and monitoring of conflicts and the preventing work to reduce them. The purpose of this essay is to clarify how conflict preventive work can be included in the Systematic work environment management.
Dimensionering av bärverk av stål : En jämförelse mellan Eurokod och BKR
The design regulations of Boverket (BKR) have long been the mandatory standard for construction design in Sweden. However from the end of the year 2010, the BKR will be replaced by the European standard Eurocode (EC). The transition to EC has been delayed and it is not until the second of May 2011 that the use of EC will be mandatory. Because EC and BKR differ from each other it is highly interesting to investigate and explain these differences.The purpose of the thesis is to compare the two standards and investigate how they give different results or not for the dimensioning of structures of steel with associated loads. The current project HVC (Pets Science Center) in Uppsala is used as a model for the design of the steel structure used in this study.
MEMS baserad referensoscillator
The interest in tiny wireless applications raises the demand for an integrated reference oscillator with the same performance as the macroscopic quartz crystal reference oscillators. The main challenge of the thesis is to prove that it is possible to build a MEMS based oscillator that approaches the accuracy level of existing quartz crystal oscillators. The MEMS resonator samples which Philips provides are measured and an equivalent electrical model is designed for them. This model is used in the simulations of the Pierce oscillator and the transresistance amplifier oscillator that are evaluated in this thesis. Finally the Pierce oscillator is implemented in the A BCD2 process and manufactured at Philips Semiconductors in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

In both economically and environmental view, it is important that the processes are effective, with high power factor. There are many ways to measure power in the industry, what they all have in common is that the installation is advanced, requires time and planning.
Den fysiska och psykosociala arbetsmiljön samt arbetstillfredsställelse hos egenföretagande tandhygienister i Sverige : en deskriptiv tvärsnittstudie
Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva svenska egenföretagande tandhygienisters (EfTH) arbetsförhållanden för att studera om där fanns samband mellan fysisk och psykosocial arbetsmiljö och arbetstillfredsställelse i gruppen. Samliga tandhygienister i Sveriges tandhygienistförenings sektion för egna företagare (n = 179) inbjöds att deltaga i studien vilken gjordes med hjälp av ett frågeformulär grundat på en förkortad version av the General Nordic Questionnaire for Psychological and Social Factors at Work, QPSNordic 34+. Sextiofem procent (n=108) svarade på enkäten. Resultaten visade att äldre tandhygienister och de som hade fler än 19 yrkesår upplevde högre grad av arbetsskicklighet, var säkrare i sin yrkesroll och kände sig mindre stressade än yngre. Stress var relaterat till fler än trettio arbetstimmar per vecka.
Höghöjdsanpassning av BvS10 : Konceptstudie för optimering av överladdningssystem
This report relate a concept study that consider a number of different proposals to improve the overcharging system in BAE Systems Ha?gglunds tracked vehicle series BvS10, to maintain sealevel power at extreme altitude.At high altitude the power losses beacuase of the air density that decreases, which results in less fuel can be burned. The decreasing of air density also gives rise to fatigue failure of the turbocharger unless power is reduced.The proposals shall be as required by BAE Systems Ha?gglunds economically sustainable and defensible from a packing perspective. That means the selected solution must have a reasonable price tag and at the same time a minimal impact on adjacent components.The basis for this thesis is based on benchmarking of both the auto industry as the flight industry, to find inspiration and tips for improvement.Some of the concepts have after gathering facts and calculations been excluded while other solutions has been considered as workable and thus interesting for BAE Systems Ha?gglunds.Initially the current turbochargingsystem was analyzed in order to determine the starting point and thus be able to fix the current problems surrounding high altitude driving.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att ta fram en modell för att attrahera innovationsmöjligheter till Munktell Science Park i Eskilstuna. Detta gjorde författarna genom att från befintliga teorier deducera fram en hypotetisk modell. Modellen används inte för att skapa innovationer utan för att hitta komplexa problem. Det är lösningarna på de komplexa problemen som i sin tur kan vara innovationerna. Därför har vi kallat de komplexa problemen för innovationsmöjligheter. .
Design av förhandlingsstöd - En fallstudie inom radiologisk verksamhet
Recent developments suggest that private and public companies are moving towards a more service-oriented business. Service orientation means that hardware is often sold in packages with service agreements, which makes the investment more difficult to assess. The challenges that arise will be to assess the value of the overall package, the information needed to make informed decisions and the operational requirements in combination of hardware, software, support agreements, training and more. The paper therefore aims to examine how decision makers can evaluate the benefits of these investments and obtain a stronger base to make better decisions. There is within the area of radiology in the region of Västra Götaland a pronounced need for a better flow of information regarding medical equipment and related service agreements.

Enligt Maslows behovshierarki är de högre behoven, autonomi, uppskattning och självkänsla viktiga faktorer för att uppnå motivation på arbetsplatsen. Autonomi ökar arbetstagarens engagemang i arbetet. Uppskattning är nödvändigt för att uppleva intresse att prestera bättre. Hög självkänsla behöver arbetstagaren för välmående och trygghet. Om självkänslan däremot är låg finns det risk att arbetstagaren blir beroende av uppskattning och överpresterar för att uppnå bekräftelse. Denna prestationsbaserade självkänsla har vid tidigare studier visats öka risken för ohälsa.
