?Att vara smal är något som väldigt många drömmer om. Mode och ideal lockar unga till bantning. Men det finns de som inget annat vill än att gå upp i vikt. Undervikt förknippas ofta med sjukdom eller ätstörningar men ibland beror det på det genetiska arvet eller en förhöjd ämnesomsättning.

Competition of spruce fiber raw materials has increased dramatically in the last few years, leading to the fact that transportation costs in the current situation represents a much larger share of the total raw material cost. The Holmen-owned pulp industry Hallsta Paper Mill's location on the coast also constitutes a problem, because of the lack of raw material, which is much larger there, than for a pulp mill located in the hinterland. For a coastal industry it?s therefore natural to import much of the raw material by boat or to buy it from the timber terminals, in order to maintain good profitability. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the size of Hallsta Paper Mill timber supply area, without competition, with competition and with terminal use, affects the company ?s transport costs.

SammanfattningSyftet i föreliggande studie är att belysa HBTQ-individers upplevelser och bemötande inom motionsanläggningar och på vilket sätt detta får betydelse för upprätthållandet av fysisk hälsa och välmående.Hur upplever HBTQ-individer motionsanläggningars normer och hur påverkar heteronormativiteten om hur de uppfattas inom fysisk aktivitet och idrott?Vad influerar HBTQ-individers egna fysiska hälsa?Finns det specifika parametrar som påverkar HBTQ-individers användning av motionsanläggningar?MetodFör att kunna granska hur heteronormativiteten präglat motionsidrotten i samhället har queerteorin samt genusteorin dels använts som utgångspunkt för studien som helhet och dels som studiens teoretiska förståelseverktyg i databearbetningarna. För att besvara syftet och frågeställningarna genomfördes en kvalitativ intervjustudie där tio individer som klassificerade sig själva som HBTQ ingick. Varje enskild intervju spelades in och transkriberades. Det är individernas egna upplevelser som varit i fokus för undersökningens analyser och tolkningar och dessa bearbetningar utgör därmed studiens resultat.ResultatResultatet i studien visar att HBTQ-individer påverkas av de oskrivna heteronormativa ideal och normer som finns vid motionsanläggningar runt om i Stockholmsområdet.

Mitt kandidatarbete är ett undersökande och utmanande av unga kvinnors självbild i förhållande till upplevda krav och förväntningar, samt normativa föreställningar om hur en kvinna ska vara. Jag vill, genom konstnärlig/konsthantverklig gestaltning i materialen keramik och glas, lyfta fram och bejaka det otillåtna som ?inte får finnas? och låta det utgöra det vackra. Att inte vara till lags, inte rätta sig efter vad andra tycker utan öppna upp för att skapa sina egna ideal. Att våga ta den plats man vill ha; högljudd eller tyst, motbjudande eller attraktiv.

I min undersökning har visats att balans är ett nyckelord. Balans mellan magasinens upplevda värde och dess pris. Balans mellan reklam och annat innehåll. Balans mellan lyx och alldaglighet. Jag har sett tydliga paradoxer, dels i magasinens innehåll, dels hos konsumenterna.

?Claiming the right to space? is an argument frequently used by street artists for justifying illegal art in the public space. The public city space as a room of democracy and right to free speech is by some people considered threatened by commercial interests, and street art has become a way to demonstrate disapproval towards this. Street art is illegal and often anonymously performed in our cities. It developed in the late 1970s from the urban graffiti scene in America, and has therefore a lot in common with the graffiti movement.

There are few legally protected gardens in Sweden, and those that are protected are mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries. All time periods have the same value and more modern gardens therefore needs to be protected. Evaluating parks is, however, complicated since it do not exist any methods. One environment from the 1960?s that has not been protected is Televerket in Farsta, Stockholm. The facility has been classified as worthy of preservation by Stockholm City Museum and has received the Kasper Salin Prize.

For many years, there has been a housing shortage in Sweden. Many have been expecting a construction boom in the housing sector, but that has yet to arrive. With the current legislations and guidelines surrounding modern, energy efficient housing; production costs have increased dramatically in recent years. As a result, having a negative effect on housing production despite the high demand for homes.This exam work is carried out on a construction project of Sjötorpshus AB and its purpose is to evaluate how to optimise the construction process for the production of a new residential settlement, "Kv.Hunden", located in Katrineholm. Det här examensarbetet undersöker hur den engelska fotbollen påverkat den svenska fotbollen. Det utreds även om den svenska fotbollshistorien har skapat en diskurs som fortfarande lever kvar inom den svenska fotbollsjournalistiken. Fem avsnitt av det svenska TV-programmet Fotbollskanalen Europa har analyserats med hjälp av det teoretiska verktyget diskursanalys. Sammanfattningsvis visar forskningsresultaten att det råder en diskurs i Fotbollskanalen Europa. Diskursen har starka kopplingar till den engelska fotbollens påverkan på svensk fotboll.

This report is about how accessibility in Eskilstuna's central trade street Kungsgatan can be improved, based on my background as spatial configuration designer, and by Eskilstuna's residents' opinions. In this report I explain what methods I have used, and how I attained my results. The goal of this project was to create ideal accessibility in the central part of Kungsgatan in Eskilstuna. Since Fristadstorget was rebuilt, and since the city is growing in terms of housing and residents, accessibility will in the near future be even more limited for visitors than it is today. The surface finishing technique called black oxidation is currently being used on thetool holders made of low alloyed tool steel produced by Sandvik Coromant. Blackoxidation isn?t considered a sufficient technique because it doesn?t make the toolholders look like the quality products that they actually are. The reasoning behind thisis that the tool holders can show signs of corrosion after prolonged storing times orin countries with high humidity and temperature. The corrosion doesn?t decrease thetool holders performance, but the customers might believe otherwise.

The aim of this essay has been to show how the object America is constructed in two of the most used history books in Swedish high school. The theoretical framework used in this paper is based on the post-structural discourse analysis as presented by Michel Foucault. More specifically can be said that Foucault´s theories about formation of objects have been used as a tool to show how the image of America is constructed in the books. Later this paper also discuses which subject positioning the studied books take, also this inspired by Foucault´s theories.The study is presented with long quotes from the studied material to reach a transparency that enables the reader to see which dictums the conclusions are based on. This also makes it easy for the reader to judge whether or not the conclusions are reasonable.

The number of LBOs in Sweden has increased during the last years and the current market trend is positive. MostLBOs involves private companies, but a few concerns public corporations on the national share market. In this thesis we will examine the conditions of a LBO of Cloetta Fazer AB. The purpose is to study existing conditions of Cloetta Fazer AB and to examine pros and cons with the deal. Based upon information presented in the frame of reference and in the empirical part, two cash flow valuations have been carried out.

Thesis Purpose: The purpose of our thesis is to explore different plausible scenarios concerning the future of the Swedish produce industry with regards to branding. Methodology: In order for us to answer the research question and fulfill its purpose, we have utilized a qualitative approach combined with of both an inductive and deductive theoretical approach. Our study is both explorative and speculative. Theoretical Perspective: The theoretical framework of our research is based upon Porters Five Forces and Competitive Advantage combined with Kapferers Brand Identity Prism and his ideas on Brand Innovation. Additionally, we have utilized the Game Theory.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how gender equality can be used in the workplace, its possible effects, and what collaboration can contribute to the subject of gender equality. A combination of legal sociological and legal dogmatic methodology has been used to examine the EU and Swedish law, how equality should be approached and what previous studies have concluded. An interview has been conducted to provide a clearer picture of how gender equality appears in practice, in the modern workplace. An equality plan should be conducted every three years and applies to employers who are responsible for more than 25 employees. The manual should include a description of the measures considered necessary in the workplace in order to promote gender equality. How an equality plan should be developed is not specifically outlined in the current law, and thus this is left up to the employer to determine.
