Denna uppsats för samman två fenomen ? kunskapsöverföring och prestige. Båda fenomenen är väldokumenterade inom respektive teoretiska område men sambandet dem emellan har hittills lämnats relativt outforskat. Denna uppsats utgår från en abduktiv forskningsansats och ämnar undersöka hur prestigesökande påverkar kunskapsöverföringen vid forskning inom den akademiska världen och inom industrin. Som teoretiska referensramar använder vi oss bland annat av King och Marks (2008), teorier kring incitament vid kunskapsöverföring, de teorier Fuller et.

Demenssjukdomar ökar i samband med att medelåldern bland befolkningen i Sverige stiger. Sjukdomen innebär svåra kognitiva och kommunikativa funktionsnedsättningar som vanligtvis leder till frustration och oro hos den som drabbats av demens. Dessa beteenden behandlas ofta med oro- och ångestdämpande läkemedel. Studien är del av en interventionsstudie som har genomförts på fem olika vård- och omsorgsboende i Marks Kommun. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om taktil beröring kunde öka välbefinnande hos personer med demens samt om administrationen av lugnande läkemedel minskade i samband med taktil beröring.

The 1900s saw two incidents of states using their military in civil disorder situations, which resulted in the killing of unarmed citizens. May 14, 1931 in Ådalen, marks a significant part of Swedish history and its view of the use of military force.  On that day, a peaceful protest march escalated, which resulted in live firing by the military stationed there to uphold law and order. This resulted in the deaths of five civilians and the prohibition of the use of military force in incidents of civil disorder. In 1972 in Northern Ireland a similar event took place on January 30, which is commonly known as Bloody Sunday. The Troubles were raging and resulted in protests for civil rights by nationalists.

The purpose of this thesis is to describe property definition and special boundary demarcation and to analyze the differences between the two cadastral procedures. Property boundaries, especially unlawfully determined boundaries created through unofficial parcelling, can create conflicts between landowners and make it diffi-cult to know which land that a property contains of. It is possible to clarify the boundary conditions through a property definition or through a special boundary demarcation re-establish boundary marks.The methods used are: (1) A literature review to collect background information, (2) A case study to summarize court cases and (3) A questionnaire study to collect opinions from cadastral surveyors.The result is summarized in two comparisons. Firstly between restoration of landmark and special boundary demarcation (which replaced restoration of landmark in a legislative change in 2010), which demonstrated that the change in the law is considered positive because special boundary demarcation gives a legal effect on the boundaries. Secondly between property definition and special boundary demarcation which demonstrated that the two procedures are similar to each other.

The purpose of this study has been to analyze the relationship between commercial brands and a subculture, with a focus on a number of elements of success. These elements could be in the nature of sale stats as well as that of influence within the subculture. All of this within the context of the snowboard culture. In accossiation to this we have formulated a question of study:What marks brands which gains influence within a subculture in addittion to becoming an important factor in the self-expression process of the cultural members?In this study, we have practised a qualitative method based on six (6) independant interviews with participants, active within the snowboard culture as well as one outside marketing executive and one ethnological reseracher.

The title Urban furniture for young people reveals that this paper handles two central phenomenon in landscape architecture; the form and content of the urban spaces, respectively the users and their need for an appropriate outdoor environment in the city. In this paper youth is referred to as 15-18 year olds and the paper is based on theories of their physical use of the city?s outdoor environment. Urban furniture refers to equipment and components in the public room which becomes furniture when people takes them in to claim and gives them a meaning and a function that is useful for the moment. The starting point is that the users, in this case youths, defi nes urban furniture as something signifi cantly more than traditional park furniture, bicycle racks and waste baskets. This paper aims to investigate how the city?s furniture can be developed to meet the youths need to see each other, move and make their marks in the public room. The theories about how youths uses the city are presented in the Theory chapter.

Every now and then, in media research studies and in various newspaper articles, schoolboys´ issues reading habits are discussed. Much of what is written concerns boys decreasing marks in the field of literature, in the Swedish language and also their negative attitude towards reading books. Some scholars claim that boys do not read because they consider reading books as a women´s duty. Other people believe that underlying causes for boys negative attitude towards reading is biological, that it´s genetic and consequently physical, and that male and female brains are functionally different. Another theory of today is that boys actually reads, but not that kind of texts and literature that they are exposed to in school.Based on a selection of these opinions and theories, and my own experience and interest for questions concerning school and gender, the aim of this studie was to examine boys worlds of reading.

The aim of this study is to examine metaphors and what may be perceived as motif-circuits in Stig Dagerman?s play Den dödsdömde (The Man Condemned to Death) and the two short stories ?Den dödsdömde? (The Man Condemned to Death) and ?Mannen från Milesia? (The Man from Milesia). My intention is to discuss a single theme and identity-marks that unites all three works, using Paul Ricoeur?s The Rule of Metaphor (La mêtaphore vive) as well as the ?thematic critique? of Jean-Pierre Richard.What is metaphor for Ricoeur is for Richard themes (theme): an organizing principle, a sort of schedule around which a world is constituted. Hence, I find similarities between the motif-circuits, Ricoeur?s metaphor-theory and Richards?s themes.

I denna uppsats undersöks hur ett hållbarhetsperspektiv skulle kunna appliceras vid förnyelsen av en stadspark med fokus på parkens funktion. Utgångspunkten är hur arbetet för en hållbar utveckling skulle kunna bedrivas inom kommunal parkverksamhet och uppsatsen tar avstamp i de miljöförändringar vi står inför samt olika åtgärder mot dessa. Arbetet med dessa åtgärder bedrivs på flera olika nivåer i samhället, såsom global, nationell och kommunal. Omställningsrörelsen, ett globalt nätverk som består av individer som på lokal nivå vill verka för ett fossilfritt samhälle, tas upp som exempel på hur frågan engagerar individer. Arbetet inleds med en litteraturstudie där bland annat olika metoder för grönyteskötsel undersöks, såsom permakultur och stadsodling. Sedan avslutas det med en fallstudie med förslag på hur en befintlig park i en mindre, svensk kommun skulle kunna göras om för att anpassas till ett hållbarhetsperspektiv. Förslaget är skissartat och går inte in på detaljer. Det som föreslås är till exempel en minskad andel kortgrästyta till fördel för ängsytor, planteringar och odlingar för att på så sätt utöka parkens funktioner och möjligheter till upplevelser och aktiviteter samt skapa förutsättningar för ökad biodiversitet.

EG-domstolens domar C-446/03 Marks & Spencer och C-231/05 Oy AA låg till grund för omfattande debatter i Sverige huruvida de svenska koncernbidragsreglerna behövde ändras så att de möjliggjorde koncernbidrag även till utländska skattskyldiga under vissa förutsättningar. Regeringen meddelade dock i budgetpropositionen för 2008 att inga justeringar behövdes. I mars 2009 avkunnade Regeringsrätten 10 mål som alla handlade om möjligheten till gränsöverskridande koncernbidrag. Domarna innebar i korthet att avdrag medges då ett svenskt moderbolag ger ett förlusttäckningsbidrag till ett dotterbolag inom EES där förlusten är slutgiltig i form av exempelvis likvidation. Som en följd av koncernbidragsdomarna har Finansdepartementet i september 2009 gett ut ett lagförslag där gränsöverskridande förlustutjämning möjliggörs genom så kallat koncernavdrag.

Through the rulings RÅ 2010 ref. 11, HFD 2011 ref. 75 and HFD 2011 not 88 the Swedish Supreme Administrative Court have extended the concept of same or similar activities which can be found in section 57, clause 4 of the Swedish Income Tax Act. Through the ruling the Court has partly clarified the application area of the regulation but question marks still remains.In the statutory text there is no definition of what shall be regarded as same or similar activity and the preparatory work does not give any further direction on how the concept should be interpreted. Ever since the amendment in 1995 the general view has been that activities can be transferred between different companies without affecting the waiting period in the company of origin.

Relationship between social behaviour, feeding behaviour and performance of boars using single-space feeders A study on the behavioural patterns of growing boars is presented. The study was preformed at Quality Genetics? boar testing station Månseryd in Sweden. The boars were purebred Yorkshire, Hampshire or Landrace, born in nine different nucleus farms. The study is based on two batches of boars, with 63 and 69 boars respectively.

In this essay I have tried to come close to a probable answer to the following question: Is there a risk that the trust between the Swedish public and the Swedish medical services staff, including the doctors, will be severely damaged if euthanasia is legalized in Sweden.In order to try to answer that question, and some other relevant questions that has corresponding interest in the context that euthanasia marks, I have done like this: I have investigated experiences from the Netherlands and from Oregon. Since euthanasia is legalized - though partly in different forms - in both these sites. I have then tried to relate the most relevant parts of these experiences to a theoretical frame. This frame had been set up by three concepts: the sanctity of life, autonomy and trust.I have also tried to come close to understanding the impact that demands for autonomy has in this context. And I have tried to understand if the trust that the public has for a country´s medical services staff and the actual doctors is a form of trust that ought to be understood as a form of trust incorporated in social capital.I have come to the conclusion that there is no great risk that the trust between the Swedish public and the Swedish medical services staff, including the doctors, will be severely damaged if euthanasia is legalized in Sweden.

I ett alltmer internationaliserat samhälle är företagens betydelse såsom globala aktörer viktig och företagen organiserar sig därför i koncerner med bolag verksamma i flera länder. Koncernen som helhet utgör dock inget skattesubjekt, men för att uppnå neutralitet mellan val av företagsform har lagstiftaren valt att under vissa förutsättningar tillåta resultatutjämning mellan koncernens bolag. Koncernbidrag enligt 35 kap IL tillerkänns dock endast företag där mottagaren av bidraget är skattskyldigt för sin verksamhet i Sverige. Sverige måste dock som medlemsland i EU efterleva EU-rättens fördragsstadgade krav på fri rörlighet och etableringsfrihet. EU domstolen har i flera rättsfall underkänt medlemsländernas lagstiftning angående gränsöverskridande förlustutjämning såsom oförenlig med EU-rätten.
