The purpose with our essay is to examine how Arabic young men, with Islamic background, behave to the origin culture of alcohol in relation to the Swedish alcohol culture. To get the information we used a qualitative method. We interviewed young men with Islamic background.Some central questions that character our essay was about the interview person's positions between the different alcohol cultures and if the Islamic religion in some way affects their view on alcohol. Another important question was how they interpret the message of the Koran about alcohol.The conclusion with our study is that the majority of the interview persons consider them selves between the two different alcohol cultures. All of the interview persons were in some way influenced of the Islamic religions rules concerning the use of alcohol and this even if some of the persons didn't see themselves as faithful Muslims..

AbstractPurpose/Aim: To study how Piratbyrån argues for a free distribution of information and culture products and to find a possible ideological explanation for their argumentation.Method/Material: I have used a rhetorical analysis to study and describe Piratbyrån´s website, a website that promotes free distribution of information and culture products. I have done so to find out how Piratbyrån argues for a free distribution and to find out what ideological foundation their argumentation is based on.Main results: The main results of the study show that Piratbyrån uses a variety of rhetorical techniques depending on the subject and purpose of the analyzed text. Their main arguments both promote their own thesis and argue against the copyright industry. The main part of the argumentation is based on logical and factual arguments, but parts of it also rely on an emotional appeal to the reader?s heart in order to persuade.

Scrapie is an infectious neurologic disease in sheep caused by prions, corresponding to transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSEs) in other species. Bakgrund: Individualiseringen är något det talas om alltmer i dagens samhälle, men som samtidigt är vetenskapligt omtvistad, vilket visar på någon typ av paradox. Denna studie tar utgångspunkt i individualiseringen som diskurs, och vill undersöka om och hur den påverkat framställningar i samhällskunskapsböcker. Därmed prövas också teorin om läroboken som ett snabbföränderligt medium när det gäller politiskt laddade frågor.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning läroboksframställningar påverkas av samhälleliga diskurser, och att se huruvida individualiseringsdiskursen är en sådan typ av fråga som kan påverka framställningarna.Metod: Med en kvalitativ textanalys undersöks framställningar av arbetsliv och näringsliv i läroböcker i samhällskunskap för gymnasiet. Som analysinstrument används dimensionerna individfokus/kollektivfokus samt uttryck för individualism/uttryck för kollektivism. Sammanlagt sex böcker analyseras, två utgivna ca 1990, två utgivna ca 2000 och två utgivna ca 2010.Resultat: Individualiseringsdiskursen har påverkat framställningar i läroböcker.

The purpose of this investigation is to compare the teaching in reading of three pedagogues in form 2 in three different schools from a second language perspective. Among other things it implies to investigate how the pedagogues think of teaching in reading and the reading field to be compared with if these fields are adjusted to a diverse cultural perspective. This investigation is carried out through observations and interviews. To compare the schools they have been picked out from the number of pupils and the number of second language pupils, that is 15 %, 67 % and 95%. The investigation also includes how the pedagogues weigh the pros and cons within reading and working methods.The further reading is built upon theories and previous research that have an attachment to the view of the sociocultural and the diverse cultural perspectives of teaching.
