How can you do a right measurement of culture as well as with other social sectors and with what can culture contribute when it comes to a town´s development? We found out that in Linköping the regional federation Ostsam recently (2005) started mapping the region's creative centers in order to look into the spreading of the culture in the county, and then use the uniqueness of the culture as an advantage in society- planning contexts. The reason was that both municipal - and State directions detected that the culture has a broader importance when it comes to building up society and infrastructure than earlier considered. This is called Cultural planning and is the foundation- method that Östsam used when working with their new projekt The creative sector. The outcome of the Östsam study resulted in an exciting study basis to work further on with and to examine through own demarcations and directions.This research manages the matter of the creative sector as an extension to the cultural sector.

The aim of this thesis is to map important strategies and factors that a firm, in this case Gunnebo Lifting AB can use when establishing themselves at the Russian market. The Russian market is today considered to be an emerging market. Within this study several areas of theory connected to entering new markets have been touched upon. These areas are market analysis, relationships and networking, internationalization processes, distribution chains, export issues and finally cultural distances. The empirical data for this thesis were collected through qualitative interviews.The results that arose when analyzing the theories combined with the empirical data pointed towards five strategies and factors of importance.

I kursen Y0001B verksamhetsförlagd utbildning, VFU, skall vi skriva en rapport som beskriver och ger ett förslag till lösning på ett problem hos bolaget Svevia, vår arbetsgivare under praktiken. Ämnet vi valt att jobba med är Svevias slutdokumentation som skall lämnas in till Vägverket region före slutbesiktning av ett utfört jobb. Ämnet valdes bl.a. för att vi upplevde att dokumentationsproblem fanns efter de jobb som vi var med om att utföra under vår praktik, men avgörande var att även rutinerad personal ansåg att detta med dokumentation efter ett vägjobb var problematiskt och kunde underlättas. Så för att underlätta och spara tid på denna dokumentation skapade vi ett färdigt underlag i form av 3 stycken Excel filer som beskriver och sammanfattar vad vägverket kräver i dokumentation efter ett vägjobb.

This is a case study of Carlstad Comic Con 2011 and 2012.The purpose is to study the event in relation to a project management and a local culture policy perspective. This in order to analyze the organization of a popular culture event and see how such a local event may benefit Karlstad as a city. Besides studying the organization of Carlstad Comic Con and its outcomes I am sketching a short cultural history of popular culture media and its context within recent year?s globalization.The study shows that the events have had a great beneficial impact on the local industry; lacking any negative sides, and have put Karlstad in an international context which goes directly in line with the standard guidelines for project management of region culture policy. Concerning how to organize the event the organizers have not followed a strict project structure.

Syftet är att undersöka hur många expedieringar av klopidogrel som gjorts till patienter som ordinerats lågdos-ASA minst en gång på recept under år 2006. Detta görs för att få fram andelen av klopidogrel i förhållande till övriga perorala antikoagulantia i de olika länen/regionerna och i åldersgrupperna 45-64, 65-74 och 75 och äldre. Materialet är hämtat från Socialstyrelsen, Epidemiologiskt Centrum och innehöll alla receptexpeditioner som gjorts till individer med minst ett recept utköp av lågdos-ASA under år 2006 och var uppdelat på län/region, ATC ? kod, kön, åldersgrupper, antal recept expeditioner och DDD. Resultatet visar att klopidogrel har 2,2 % av totala antalet expeditioner och att åldergrupp 45-64 är de som har störst andel klopidogrel.

I Sverige har det pågått en fyra decennier lång regiondebatt om hur den regionala förvaltningen ska organiseras. Denna debatt har resulterat i ett beslut om en försöksverksamhet med regionalt självstyre i fyra län från 1 juli 1997 till 31 december 2002. I den regionala försöksverksamheten som ytterligare har förlängts till 2006 ingår Kalmar, Gotland, Skåne och Västra Götaland. De två sistnämnda regionerna är mitt undersökningsmål. Syftet med denna uppsats är att lyfta fram de väsentliga faktorer/element som kan relateras till och förknippas med regional identitet.

Syftet var att undersöka aktivitetsnivå och måltidsvanor hos skolungdomar i årskurs 6-9 efter en intervention, och jämföra de uppnådda resultaten med en kontrollgrupp, samt jämföra mellan flickor och pojkar. Hallands Idrottsförbund startade med stöd av Region Halland ett projekt på en skola i Halland, för att öka den fysiska aktiviteten bland eleverna i samarbete med olika idrottsliga föreningar. Detta var en kvantitativ studie och enkäter användes som datainsamlingsmetod. Resultatet visade att den aktiva gruppen hade fler idrottslektioner i veckan än kontrollgruppen. Inga andra skillnader påvisades.

Rattfylleri är ett allvarligt säkerhetsproblem i Sverige. Var 60:e timme dödas någon pga. detta brott. Det görs ca 16 000 resor per dygn där föraren har en alkoholkoncentration i blodet som överstiger straffbarhetsgränsen 0,2 promille. Ungefär lika många rattfyllerister tar polisen genom sina kontroller under ett år.

På den senaste tiden har ett allt större intresse riktats mot växande småföretag. Olika svenska och internationella studier har visat att en stor del av den ekonomiska tillväxten skapas genom att små företag växer. Studierna har pekat ut ett antal olika faktorer som påverkar tillväxten i företagen. Syftet med denna uppsats var att se hur ett antal av dessa potentiella tillväxtfaktorer påverkar småföretag i Sverige. Dessutom ville vi jämföra hur två län med olika företagsklimat (Jönköpings län och Norrbottens län) skiljer sig åt.

Ship formed monuments from the Late Bronze Age on the island of O?land, southeast Sweden, have never been thoroughly dealt with in previous research, despite the fact that the region is suggested to have had a key-role in maritime trade networks. This thesis aims to address the ship formed monuments on O?land in relationship to the monuments in northern Sma?land and the island of Gotland. My goal is to discuss how the ship symbolism was practised during the Late Bronze Age in Scandinavia from a new perspective.

Uppsatsen tar avstamp i tidigare forskning om kulturella skillnader vid interaktion i Öresundsregionen. Vår utmaning och ambition har varit att se vilka möjligheter som finns vid det gränsöverskridande samarbete mellan organisationer i regionen. För att kunna jämföra, då och nu, utgår vi från ett tidsperspektiv från mitten av 1990-talet fram till idag. Uppsatsen kan ses som en kvalitativ fallstudie som är både kumulativ och byggd på intervjuer. Representanter från de två organisationerna, HH-samarbetet och HH-Ferries, ingår i intervjuerna.

Equine cutaneous melanomas arise much more often in horses with a grey coat color than in horses of other colors. Some scientists have in different studies come to the conclusion that the melanomas are neoplasms which can be classified by examining their histological and macroscopic features. The more defined and demarcated a tumor is, the more benign it tends to be. Other scientists believe that the skin lesions are the result of a pigmentation disorder that is linked to the greying of the coat color. According to this theory, the lesions are not malignant although they have the ability to metastasize.

Today, nine out of ten municipalities are active on social media and it has become increasingly popular among municipalities that make use of placemarketing to promote their particular region. A problem that is raised in this study is that the population of the municipalities in northern Sweden often is in decline. The purpose of this study is to investigate how a democratic-controlled organization such as Luleå Municipality uses the social media Facebook in its placemarketing, to highlight a place of scale and to attract new residents and stakeholders to move to or visit the city. In order to answer the purpose I have with the help of a critical discourse analysis examined how Luleå Municipality using social media Facebook in their marketing of Luleå as a place. The results were then analyzed using theories of placemarketing, Norrland and the market-oriented municipality.

During the last few years, there has been a lot of debate regarding the price ofelectricity on the Swedish market. According to a recent survey from Sifo, anon-bias governmental institute for consumer research and testing, the priceof electricity is what worries Swedish households the most. An investigationof the eciency of the Nordic power grids inuence on the Swedish spotprice is therefore both relevant and valuable. Three quarters of all electricityproduced in the Nordic region is traded at the Nord Pool Spot power market.This survey examines how much of the variation of the swedish spot pricecan be descried by the variation of the nordic system price and how much iscaused because of ineciencies in the power grid. Primarily, linear regressionwith adjustments for endogeneity and heteroskedasticity has been used in orderto analyze data obtained mainly from Nord Pool Spot and Vattenfall AB.The results show that the variation of the system price can account for all butabout 40% of the variation in the Swedish spot price.
