This study has examined how teachers in Swedish upper secondary schools work to foster a critical perspective through the education in the subject of Swedish. The study is based on qualitative interviews conducted with three teachers, who have given their views on the role of source criticism and critical analysis of literature in the subject of Swedish. Furthermore, they have described how they incorporate these views into their own teaching.The study has shown that the teachers find that source criticism and literary analysis are interconnected, since both depend on a general critical approach, which they both help foster. The main question the study examined was how Swedish education could help foster a critical perspective. The interviewed teachers' ways of working point out a way: teacher C has integrated source criticism and referencing into most of their education, which makes them central to the education in Swedish.

Situationer där polisen skjuter kan uppstå till följd av att gärningsmän uppvisar provokativa suicidbeteenden. Detta fenomen är känt som suicide by cop (SbC) och har visat sig utgöra en betydande andel av undersökta skjuthändelser i Nordamerika. Studien syftar till att ge en deskriptiv bild av SbC i Sverige utifrån förekomst och karakteristika gällande situationer och gärningsmän, samt att beskriva hur dessa händelser kan upplevas och hanteras av poliser. Skjuthändelser som inträffat under tidsperioden 2005-2009 granskades och intervjuer genomfördes med tio poliser som upplevt SbC-händelser. Resultatet visade att SbC svarade för 26 % av skjuthändelserna.

Syftet är att undersöka skildringen av språket och personligheten hos den 15-årige huvudpersonen med autistiskt handikapp, för att ta reda på om läsaren lär känna samma person i de båda böckerna.Översättarens strategier samt relationen mellan källtext och måltext analyseras och diskuteras utifrån teorier inom Translation Studies, med tillämpning av begrepp som språkliga normer, domesticering & främmandegörning och kompensation. Dessutom ingår kommentarer från en intervju med översättaren.Analysen visar att huvudpersonens speciella språk framhävs tydligare i översättningen än i originalet, men att hans personlighet framstår som mindre konsekvent i översättningen. I have with this thesis sought to understand how chick lit could be useful in the classroom in the teaching of Swedish B-course in high school. Based on the model of critical literacy I am arguing that this genre would help to meet the objectives of the policy documents which, among other things, are to critically examine and analyze various types of texts.I have found that some of these texts could be used for analyzing and critically examine the ideological dimensions of texts and cultural heritage by the model of critical literacy, and also as a counterweight to the more traditional teaching of the canonical literature as a literary historical stuff that students should learn. I have also wanted to create a basis for discussions about literature in the classroom based on the chick lit genre. To do this I have, based on three themes and questions from the model of critical literacy, tried to focus on issues that might emerge from the ideological analysis and critical review. The model aims to deconstruct norms of society, and in the work of chick lit, I wanted to show how you could deconstruct norms around gender..

The purpose of this study was to investigate how media has followed the Parken Zoo incident and analyse how media convey the issue about the Parken Zoo incident. The different results have been compared. To answer the purpose of the study three issues has been formulated:  how do the different media relate to the ideal of objectivity? Who come across and get to speak in the different media? What differences and similarities are in the media?   The theories that have been used in this study are mainly McCombs theory of agenda setting, Strömbäck?s theory of framing and theory of media logic, Kovach & Rosenstiel theories of journalism and Manning?s theory of objectivity. The methods that have been used are a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative semiotic analysis.

The implementation of a material requirements planning system is a complex and demanding task. There has been much research into what factors are important in such implementations, but seemingly very little about the links between critical success factors and management control systems. This thesis attempts, through a case study, to answer the question of how management control systems affect the implementation of an MRP system in ASSA AB, a Swedish manufacturing firm. Data is primarily collected through interviews. Theory regarding implementation success definitions, critical success factors as well as management control systems is presented.

Our object was to identify the critical variables in the process of building a brand identity. To achieve this we collected data about the company through several interviews with respondents with good insight in the company. I förskolan idag strävar man efter att arbeta jämställt, vilket innebär att man utgår från varje individ. Man vill ge varje barn samma förutsättningar och chans till att utvecklas. Något som man jobbar mycket med är genus, vilket handlar om att i stället för att se könet så ska man se barnen och deras handlingar. Det jag ville med min undersökning var att titta på hur pedagoger agera i olika genusrelaterade situationer i förskolan. Om man kunde se någon skillnad i pedagogers agerande och varför de agerar som de gjorde.

Syftet med denna undersökning var att förstå och beskriva sjökaptensstudenters upplevelser av handledning vid utförandet av uppgifter som krävs för att uppnå lärandemålen under delkursen Fartygsförlagd utbildning 1 (1FF01K). Halvstrukturerade personliga intervjuer genomfördes med åtta förstaårsstudenter mellan den 25:e mars och den 5:e april 2013. Dessa spelades in och transkriberades för att sedan tolkas och struktureras i olika kategorier beroende av upplevelser. Strategiskt urval användes för att välja ut informanterna vilka intervjuades med hjälp av ?Critical incident technique?.

För att kunna erbjuda god och lättillgänglig hälso- och sjukvård vid stora olyckor och katastrofer krävs en katastrofberedskap grundad på planläggning, utbildning och övning. Sjukvårdens särskilda beredskap måste kunna hantera såväl den "lilla vardagsolyckan" som den stora olyckan eller katastrofen. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur enhetschefer och distriktssköterskor vid primärvården i två kommuner i Jämtlands län upplevde sig förberedda inför en katastrof eller en stor olycka där utryckning krävdes utanför vårdinrättningar till olycksplats. Syftet var även att undersöka hur katastrofberedskap prioriteras av enhetschefer. En intervjustudie har genomförts med tre enhetschefer och fem distriktssköterskor.

I de flesta arbeten uppkommer situationer som kan te sig svåra och som på ett eller annat sätt måste hanteras. Den allmänna föreställningen är att svåra situationer betraktas som problem och uppfattas oftast ha en negativ innebörd. I denna uppsats har vi valt att se svåra situationer i en positiv bemärkning. Vi har för avsikt att undersöka hur svåra situationer i arbetet bidrar till lärande och utveckling för individen, i detta fall yrkesgruppen coacher. De frågeställningar vi utgår ifrån i studien är vilka svåra situationer coacherna upplever i sitt arbete, hur de hanterar svåra situationer samt vilka möjligheter till lärande och utveckling svåra situationer ger upphov till.
