Anställningsbara humanister : En kvalitativ studie om studenternas syn på anställningsbarhet
Employable humanists. A qualitative study on humanist students' views on employability.The crisis of the humanities is a controversial debate in the media and within academic settings. Because of lack of request for humanists in the labor market, the question of humanistic skills and employability is becoming increasingly important. The concept of employability importance not only echoes within the economic discussions, but also on everyday agenda in the academic world and takes a large part in the communication between the university and the students. It is therefore important to get answers to the question whether there is conformity in the interpretation of this concept between the university and the students.The aim of this desk study is to examine how the concept of employability has its significance in the academic communication and how the responsibility for employability is portrayed.
Attityder till kvinnligt och manligt ledarskap
The purpose of the study was to examine if preferred stereotypical leadership and gender could predict women?s employability to leading positions. The survey, which was selfconstructed containing a scenario module was conducted on co-workers (N=97) in the Vaxjo area. The result showed that the female candidate in the scenario was preferred as leader prior to the male candidate. However, there were no gender differences between the male and female participants? preferred stereotypical leadership.

This study examines university employees? perception of their employment situation and career opportunities. By tradition, fixed term contracts are used in the Swedish research community due to dependency on insecure funding. There is a current debate that questions this use of insecure employments. The employments are said to negatively affect the university?s societal role and international competitiveness.
Vad gör en studie- och yrkesvägledare anställningsbar?
Anställningsbarhet anses vara av värde för flera intressenter, däribland samhället, företagen och individen. Vårt examensarbete behandlar anställningsbarhet för studie- och yrkesvägledare. Vi har uppmärksammat att konkurrensen om vägledningstjänster är hård i Skåne. Vi ämnade därför undersöka vad som gör en studie- och yrkesvägledare, eller annan aspirant till vägledningstjänster, anställningsbar. Vi begränsade oss dock till att undersöka vad som ökar möjligheten för en studie- och yrkesvägledare att bli kallad till just anställningsintervju, för vägledningstjänster.
VFU- en väg in i arbetslivet? : En kvalitativ studie som behandlar arbetsgivares värderingar av erfarenheter från verksamhetsförlagd utbildning.
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the employability of newly graduated social workers is affected by the Supervised Practical Work Experience performed during the educational program. Four main questions were developed in order to establish an educated and concise theory: Does the newly graduated social worker?s choice of a specific Supervised Practical Work Experience affect their employability? Does the structure of the Supervised Practical Work Experience affect newly graduated social worker?s employability? What specific skills do employers within social work consider important for their organization? Is there a difference in how the representatives of various organizations within social work answer the aforementioned questions? The study was conducted through six qualitative semi-structured interviews. The people being interviewed work either as employers or recruiters in organizations from different areas within social work. Theories concerning organization and symbolic interactions were used during the analysis of the results.

The first aim of this study is to describe how the public employment service (PES) producesoccupational descriptions. The second aim is to analyse the conditions for that production.Method: The empiric material consists of seven qualitative interviews with employed at PES,operational plan for the team working with descriptions on occupations and observation notes.The overall theme in the study is Foucaults perspective on power. The conditions forproduction of occupational descriptions are understood in the light of the governmentality perspectiveand the concept of employability. Bourdieu´s concept habitus, symbolic violence and capital are usedto articulate the officials? values and experiences.Eight officials at PES produce the occupational descriptions.

The main research question is accordingly: ?Does the picture that Swedish press presents of the health insurance reform in the USA, seem like something that will be of radical importance to the possibilities of the population to receive healthcare?? The purpose is also to examine in which model (demand or market) the opinions of the Swedish press fits. This purpose will be answered by using three specific questions asking whether their opinions differ when it comes to three criterions: organization, financing/resources and delivery systems.
Karriärväxlande officerares kompetens och anställningsbarhet på civil arbetsmarknad.
The downsizing of the Swedish armed forces during the late 20th century and early 21 th century has caused several thousand people to choose a different career. This undergraduate thesis investigates the self-observed employability and work-place competence of a number of Swedish armed forces officers who has made the transition to a civil career. The thesis seeks to answer questions about how the transition is comprehended, how military merits and competences are valued in civil work places and which differences in ability to use their competences the respondents experience. The study is made using qualitative interviews, which are analysed using a miexed method inspired by phenomenological method. The findings include that the essence of the respondents emplooyability is a shared work indentity as miltary officers and a common experienced problem in translating their merits.

Bakgrund: Avregleringen av Arbetsförmedlingens monopol 1993 förändrade den svenskaarbetsmarknaden när nya anställningsformer tillkom och traditionella tillsvidareanställningar blevfärre. Liksom övriga delar på arbetsmarknaden är konkurrensen mellan arbetssökande idag storockså inom bemanningsbranschen. Det är därför av intresse att undersöka.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att kartlägga vad som krävs för att betraktas som anställningsbarinom bemanningsbranschen ur ett arbetsgivar- och ett arbetstagarperspektiv. Följandefrågeställningar har formulerats: ?Vilka kompetenser, livsbetingelser och egenskaper behövs hosen arbetssökande för att betraktas som anställningsbar på ett bemanningsföretag?? samt ?Vilkaskillnader finns det mellan arbetstagarens och arbetsgivarens syn på anställningsbarhet??Tidigare forskning och teori: Det finns få studier kring anställningsbarhet inom justbemanningsbranschen.

The aim of this literature study was to find out how nurses experience their work-situation and work environment and which the risk factors where. We also wanted to examine what kind of influence those risk factors had on nurses work satisfaction. This was done by the following question: What are the risk factors that can lead to burnout in work environment of nurses? The method was by critical examination of ten scientifically articles. The articles were critically studied by the criterions of Polit, Beck & Hungler.
Vårdens pris - utbränd sjuksköterska. En litteraturstudie rörande utbrändhet bland sjuksköterskor
The aim of this study is to illuminate factors in nurses´ work, which can cause a state of exhaustion called burn out. The results indicate that work related mental illness is a lengthy process that gives rise to both physical and psychical problems. These problems might lead to a state of burn out. However, several authors prefer to use expressions like exhaust syndrome or exhaust depression as they are criticising the concept of burn out. The study is a literature analysis of 11 scientific articles that have been scrutinized using the criterions presented by Polit et al (2001).
