Children that are exposed to domestic violence are placed in a vulnerable situation and they are not been given their own identity during the family conflict resolution process. Focus is mostly directed towards the parents and their conflict-filled situation. The aim of this study is to talk with professionals and take part of their experiences with regards to the phenomenon of children who witness domestic violence. The study is conducted from a child/crime victim perspective and is restricted to men's violence against women. A qualitative method is used which consist of interviews involving representatives of BRIS, the Police, Social Service, a Woman Shelter, and two Crisis Centers with different concentrations.

This puts pressure on the earth, as humans demand more and more resources. Today the earth needs one and a half year to regenerate the resources humans? demand of it, by the year 2030 we will need two planets in order to cope with this increasing demand of resources.At a global level it is established that richer countries have a stronger consumption pattern than poorer, and thus generate higher levels of carbon dioxide emissions.
Dior - Ett lyxmodemärke i kris : - En studie i argumentens bild av händelsen
ABSTRACT The purpose of this essay has been to analyse an incident that received huge attention in the media that took place on February 24 2011 involving the famous fashion designer John Galliano. Galliano who at the time served as a creative director at French luxury fashion house Dior hurled anti-Semitic remarks during an altercation to a couple at Paris café La Perle. We intended to do a study of the material in two parts. The primary focus of our thesis was to analyse six different newspaper articles that involved the incident. We chose to analyse three articles from Great Britain and three from the United States to get a versatile image of the incident.

Lönsamhet i svenska banker - En tidsserieanalys av de svenska storbankernas lönsamhet och risktagande
This study aims to scrutinize the four major banks in Sweden on how their profit havedeveloped over a time span of 15 years, whether stricter regulations have had anyimpact on financial key ratios and if there is any correlation between the banksprofitability and their risk taking. The period covered is the years 2000-2014. Thefigures are annually and the four major banks are; Handelsbanken, Nordea,Skandiviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) and Swedbank.The findings are that financial key ratios that include net income are pro-cycle whereSwedbank has the biggest volatility over the period and that the three other banks areless, but clear pro-cycle. There are also indications that stricter rules have madeimpact on the volatility of the profitability even though the period covered is notenough to ensure this claim. Nordea has had the lowest and most stable capital ratiothroughout the period and the other three banks lowered their debt-to-equity ratiosignificantly after the financial Crisis in 2008.

In public relations and marketing, lawsuits traditionally connote Crisis. The purpose of this study is to explore the design and critical considerations concerning risks and opportunities when companies voluntarily initiate lawsuits with the partial aim to get publicity in the mass media. In the following paper, the communicative aspects of two such Swedish cases in the European Court of Justice are studied?a large corporation challenging the Swedish monopoly on gambling and a small company challenging the government on their restrictions for individuals to import alcoholic beverages. The case studies have been conducted through interviews, analysis of legal acts and press articles.
Livet efter en going-concern varning : En studie om företagskommunikation efter en GCV.
Bakgrund: Bland det värsta som kan hända företag är att få en going-concern varning eftersom det är en signal till intressenter om att företag inte tros överleva under en längre tidsperiod. Tidigare studier har studerat effekterna av en going-concern varning för företags intressenter och på kortsikt vad som händer med företag. Det gör att vi vill studera hur företag agerar för att undvika konkurs och likvidation och därmed överleva going-concern varning.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att förklara hur företag agerar för att överleva en going-concern varning med fokus på kommunikation. Vi kommer därför att skapa en modell.Metod: Studien har en forskningsansats som är deduktiv där vi tar avstamp från resursberoende teorin, institutionell teori och attribution theory. Den empiriska datan är av kvantitativ art och är insamlad via enkätundersökning samt en dokumentstudie av årsredovisningar.Slutsats: Vi har kommit fram till att en going-concern varning är en kris för företag.
Hyllning som politisk kriskommunikation? : En studie av Göran Persson tal i samband med mordet på utrikesminister Anna Lindh 2003
Det övergripande syftet var att ta reda på genren genus demonstrativums betydelse i politisk kriskommunikation och frågeställningarna var: ? Hur använder Göran Persson genren genus demonstrativum för att bearbeta den politiska kris som ett ministermord innebär? ? Vad vill Göran Persson uppnå med sina tal och med vilka retoriska medel försöker han skapa mening kring mordet? ? Vilka attityder försöker Göran Persson få åhörarna att inta och hur gör han det? Materialet bestod av fyra tal och den övergripande metoden var strukturell och stödmetoderna stil-, ideologkritisk-, och retorisk analys. Jag lutade mig bland annat mot teorier av Elmelund Kjeldsen och Johannesson. Studien visar att genren genus demonstrativum stärkte och enade medborgarna i ett krisdrabbat samhälle. Istället för att fokusera på dådet hyllade Göran Persson Anna Lindh och använde henne som symbol för det demokratiska samhället.
Med facit i hand : En studie om krishantering hos svenska researrangörer och Utrikesdepartementet
Grundtanken med individuell lönesättning är att bidra till att göra arbetsplatsen attraktiv och effektiv. Tidigare forskning visar dock att individuella löner under lång tid varit mycket kontroversiella och på flera håll mötts av ointresse eller motstånd. Flera menar att individuell lönesättning kan motverka sitt eget syfte. Utifrån denna bakgrund är syftet med studien att få ökad kunskap och förståelse om vilka konsekvenser individuella löner fört med sig genom att dels undersöka anställdas personliga upplevelser och dels studera lönestatistik. Studiens första del har undersökt brandmäns åsikter på en räddningstjänst där motståndet mot individuell lönesättning är synnerligen starkt.
Crisis Management : - som ett konkurrensmedel
De senaste årens naturkatastrofer, smittsamma sjukdomar och terroristattentat är exempel på en ökad hotbild vilken svenska researrangörer måste förhålla sig till. I syfte att skydda människor och företagets kommersiella värden gäller det därför att skaffa sig en beredskap för att hantera krissituationer. Hanteringen av kriser involverar ofta företagets förmåga att hantera förändringar. Researrangörerna i denna studie arbetar samtliga med någon form av Crisis Management. Krisberedskap och krishantering är en självklarhet för researrangörernas överlevnad på en konkurrensutsatt marknad.
