Det övergripande syftet var att ta reda på genren genus demonstrativums betydelse i politisk kriskommunikation och frågeställningarna var:  ? Hur använder Göran Persson genren genus demonstrativum för att bearbeta den politiska kris som ett ministermord innebär? ? Vad vill Göran Persson uppnå med sina tal och med vilka retoriska medel försöker han skapa mening kring mordet? ? Vilka attityder försöker Göran Persson få åhörarna att inta och hur gör han det?  Materialet bestod av fyra tal och den övergripande metoden var strukturell och stödmetoderna stil-, ideologkritisk-, och retorisk analys. Jag lutade mig bland annat mot teorier av Elmelund Kjeldsen och Johannesson. Studien visar att genren genus demonstrativum stärkte och enade medborgarna i ett krisdrabbat samhälle. Istället för att fokusera på dådet hyllade Göran Persson Anna Lindh och använde henne som symbol för det demokratiska samhället.

Grundtanken med individuell lönesättning är att bidra till att göra arbetsplatsen attraktiv och effektiv. Tidigare forskning visar dock att individuella löner under lång tid varit mycket kontroversiella och på flera håll mötts av ointresse eller motstånd. Flera menar att individuell lönesättning kan motverka sitt eget syfte. Utifrån denna bakgrund är syftet med studien att få ökad kunskap och förståelse om vilka konsekvenser individuella löner fört med sig genom att dels undersöka anställdas personliga upplevelser och dels studera lönestatistik. Studiens första del har undersökt brandmäns åsikter på en räddningstjänst där motståndet mot individuell lönesättning är synnerligen starkt.

De senaste årens naturkatastrofer, smittsamma sjukdomar och terroristattentat är exempel på en ökad hotbild vilken svenska researrangörer måste förhålla sig till. I syfte att skydda människor och företagets kommersiella värden gäller det därför att skaffa sig en beredskap för att hantera krissituationer. Hanteringen av kriser involverar ofta företagets förmåga att hantera förändringar. Researrangörerna i denna studie arbetar samtliga med någon form av Crisis Management. Krisberedskap och krishantering är en självklarhet för researrangörernas överlevnad på en konkurrensutsatt marknad.

Att som organisation existera på sociala medier är inte alltid lätt. Enorma möjligheter finns att interagera med sina publics och intressenter, men vad händer dagen när något går snett? Människor rasar över en händelse och skriver tusentals inlägg på organisationens sida som helt förlorat kontrollen över innehållet. Mordhot haglar i takt med ironiseringar och förtvivlan från människor. En organisation som vet hur det känns är Parken Zoo.

By using pollen analysis and 14C-dating, the history of vegetation and land use at the old shieling place (Sw: fäbodställe) Öjingsvallen in Ängersjö parish, central Sweden, was studied. The aim of the study was to answer the following questions: 1) When was Öjingsvallen established as a shieling place? 2) What was the land use at Öjingsvallen? 3) Was the use of Öjingsvallen as a shieling place affected by the agricultural crisis in the 14th and 15th centuries? 4) Is there any relation between the establishment and land use of Öjingsvallen as a shieling place and the historically known increase in the number of shieling sites known to have taken place in the 16th and 17th centuries? 5) Was the use of Öjingsvallen as a shieling place affected by the iron production in the area? According to the study, Öjingsvallen was probably established as a shieling place during the period A.D. 300-700. The main land use at this time was forest grazing.

The myth of the user - a study of the user discourse and its visionariesThis study is a discourse analysis of the visions that implicitly are expressed in different texts about user-centered library theory. Several other studies have analyzed the discourse and conceptualization of how the user is expressed in the library debate. Therefore we have chosen to analyze the visions that are expressed by three different sources: the evaluation of the Swedish GÖK project, which was an reorganization of three different libraries in Sweden (Greenhalgh, Worpole & Landry 1995). Olofström som ligger i södra Sverige är en ort som är beroende av bilindustrin vilket gör att orten drabbats hårt av finanskrisen. Många invånare har förlorat sina arbeten och arbetslösheten har mer än fördubblats på ett år. Detaljhandeln på orten har också påverkats när de drabbade invånarna med stor sannolikhet har dragit ner på sin konsumtion och det är därför intressant att studera om detaljhandelsföretagen har hanterat finanskrisen på olika sätt. För att ta reda på om det är några skillnader delades en enkät ut till alla detaljhandelsföretag på orten och svarsfrekvensen var mycket hög. Teorin i uppsatsen baseras på krishantering, strategi och marknadsföring. Avsnittet om krishantering utgår ifrån det faktum att det finns olika faser i en kris som ett företag måste ta sig igenom och vilken fas företaget befinner sig i beror på vilka åtgärder som har vidtagits.

The aim of this thesis is to expand the understanding of 16th century Flemish art by approaching paintings by artists Pieter Aertsen (1508-1575), Joachim Beuckelaer (1533-1574) and Pieter Bruegel (c. 1525-1569) from a different perspective. This is done by extending the discourse of art history, into a discourse of literary history and primarily 16th century novels by authors such as François Rabelais and Miguel de Cervantes. The paintings are studied in relation to these 16th century novels, by comparison and as a testament of this specific time period. A widening contextualization is also constructed in which a connection to the expression of the carnivals ambivalent form, as well as the notion of lower classes is explored.

Through an internship at a nonprofit organization called ATSUB[1], specialized at giving support to non-offending parents to sexually abused children, one of the authors to this study found that there was a lack of care for the parents by governmental operations. While studying the previous research we found a great deficiency when it came to non-offending parents and far most about non-offending fathers. We found studies proving that the child?s non-offending parents are the best support for the child during their healing process. Research also shows that parents must be able to get good support and treatment during their crisis for the parents to be able to support the child, since they?re also in great despair over their child being sexually abused.

Recently, there have been intense discussions about the humanities and their role in society. Internationally, as well as in a Swedish context, the humanities have been regarded to be in a state of crisis. However, these discussions usually demonstrate a lack of historical perspectives based on thorough empirical research. The notion of a crisis needs to be historicized.In this study, a case is being examined where the relationship between science and society was renegotiated. In the context of World War II, a discourse has been identified in a borderland between science and politics through an analysis of Swedish journals and anthologies during the time period 1937-1947.

Temat för denna essä är bildningsresor. Fallstudierna utgörs av en rapport om Cirkuspedagogik och intervjuer av en tidigare lärarkollega. Texterna har använts som impulstexter för essän och rör sig kring nyckelorden ovan. Turings idéer om robotmänniskan och Turkles forskning om sociala robotar och virtuella världar berörs och jag funderar om pedagogik behöver vara grundad i en idé, eller om det mer handlar om olika tekniker man kan tillskansa sig och kontrollera. .

The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the debate of water politics and privatisation of water distribution. My method is debate analysis and qualitative idea analysis and for my essay I used three books that try to persuade the reader that his or her idea is the best for this water crisis. My main question is to illustrate the debate concerning water privatisations. I will also look at the arguments for or against privatisations and finally determine how the authors think the state should act towards this subject. The first book I used was Vandana Shivas ?Water Wars? that when published started an international discussion about the water privatisations.

Aim and questionsThe aim of our study was to increase knowledge about successful school managers' views on teachers' mental health and their own work regarding this subject.In what ways do the school manager work preventive with measures on teachers' mental health? How does leadership affects teachers' mental health? What factors create mental health among teachers? MethodIn order to answer the questions, we have chosen to use semi-structured interviews. To get in touch with schools that have been successful with their work with the teacher's mental health, we have made a targeted step wise sample where we contacted the primary managers of six randomly selected municipalities in Stockholms län. In total six school managers have been interviewed. The empiric data were thematized and analyzed based on the demand-control-support model. ResultsAll the interviewed school managers agreed to that the concept of mental health is about feeling good, about balance in life and to feel safe.

The purpose of this paper is to show how practicing teachers work to prevent racism. Based on four interviews with teachers at low-, middle- and high schools, where these schools differ in numbers of immigrants and geographical location. Conclusion: None of the four teachers feel that racism is a problem at their school; however, they are confident that some racism is present at their school. The teaching techniques are comparable in all four schools which targets the students? values, confidence, attitudes and behavior by work how students should treat one and other..

This thesis examines conceptions of gender revealed by people when assessing texts. The research questions are: What associations can be discerned between gender conceptions and ideas about the quality of texts? What features of content and style are perceived as female or male? The study seeks to develop a method for comparing different people?s assessments of the same text. The material was collected by means of questionnaires in which 114 informants were asked to assess three anonymous student texts and then guess the sex of the writer. The material has been analysed quantitatively by correlating the assessments of the texts with the guesses about the sex of the author, and qualitatively, as the informants? freely worded assessments of the texts were analysed for content and form with the support of assumptions about how assessments are expressed in text.
