The changes and downsizing in the welfare state with economic Crises, due to political cutback, made the politicians look fore new solutions. One solution is to encourage cooperation between the public sector and the voluntary sector in order to handle the different needs of individuals.Uppsala community and the voluntary sector are working closely together within a project called ?God Livsmiljö?.
When migration to a country increases, the integration of the migrants becomes extra
important for the host country?s society, economy and culture. In the last decade, Europe has
faced several Crises, such as the refugee crisis and the covid-19 pandemic, which has affected
both migration and integration policy. The challenges that have characterized European
society in recent years makes it interesting to study how the measures highlighted by the
European Commission to integrate migrants has developed. Therefore, the paper aims to
compare the Commission?s action plans for integration published in 2016 and 2020 based on
the threat theory and the contact theory to see how both perspectives can contribute to
understanding the differences between the years and which theory is best suited to understand
the Commission?s current visions of integration.
Planering : fallstudie av en mjölkgård
The purpose of this paper is to give examples of different ways of economic planning and
calculation within agriculcture. My aim is to use a couple of them as an explanation of a case
from reality. My choice went to budgetsimulation and balanced scorecard since those are best
suited in this specific case.
In the information retrieval I present different instruments of economic planning like theory of
cost, budget and productcalculation. The budgetsimulation describes how to use the different
methods in a long term economic planning. The balanced scorecard is also a model of longand
short-term planning but besides the economy planning it?s also a reminder of your
personal goals.
In the model I have used a dairyfarm as a case.

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision is gradually increasing the capital requirements for banks, yet the increase in capital requirements doesn?t seem to solve the problem. This raises the question: how does capital regulation affect banks? Purpose: The purpose of this study is, primarily to illustrate the effects that capital regulation has on risk and efficiency on banks within the European Union, but secondary also study the relationship between risk, efficiency and capital regulation.Method: To achieve the purpose of this study, a deductive approach has been used, where the problem is assumed to be due to an agency problem.
Säkerhets- och arbertsmiljöarbete på Arbetsförmedlingen : Naturlig utveckling och påtvingade förändringar
Arbetsförmedlingen is the Swedish national authority responsible for the work politics, and its main purpose is to create and build a solid and sustainable job market.Economic Crises together with changes in the society and in the organization over the past few years mean that the unemployed individuals that come in contact with Arbetsförmedlingen are no longer a homogenous group. A lot of effort is put into helping those who may find it difficult to enter the work environment, such as youths (19 ? 26 years old), people who have been unemployed or on sick leave for a long period of time, people with disabilities or immigrants who are newly arrived in Sweden.A harder social and economic climate can lead to frustration among the unemployed which mean that security measures at the offices has had to become adjusted. Local offices now have a public area where they have meetings with their clients and a locked open plan office space to which the public have no access. Working within an open plan office environment can cause health problems, mostly due to the constant background noise that comes from people having conversations on the phone, or with each other.
Externa aktörer och transitionsstater En studie om EU som en inflytelserik aktör och transitionsstater på Västra Balkan
In this thesis I discuss about economical and political transition in countries that is consecutively being induced by influential external actors. Looking closer on the role of the EU as a dynamic transitional force, with the intention of examining to what extent the EU can pursuit its interest and modify the economical as well as the political structures of transition countries. With relations to four transition states on the Western Balkans, more precise Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia-Montenegro and Macedonia (FYROM), I have examined the influential position of the EU. Another feature that is discussed is the approach of the EU and the cause of it in respect to the Western Balkans. Since the end of the Crises in Kosovo the EU was given the leading roll in stabilizing and reconstructing the Western Balkans.
Katastrofhantering i kapitalets förlovade land : Den amerikanska statens hantering av Dust Bowl och orkanen Katrina
In this thesis, I enquire into how the USA ? our world?s wealthiest and most powerful nation ? and its federal government has dealt with two of its most severe natural disasters: the drought and dust storms that plagued the Great Plains during the 1930?s, i.e. the Dust Bowl, and Hurricane Katrina, which made landfall in late August 2005. I attempt to identify differences and similarities and analyze if and, in that case, how the hegemonic politico-economic paradigm affected the federal management of these Crises. This comparison is made relevant by the fact that two differing paradigms were at play during these events. In the thirties, President Franklin D. Roosevelt launched his ?New Deal?, a series of counter cyclical measures in line with the Keynesian school of economics, as a response to the overwhelming economic depression as well as the raging drought.
Att rädda världens djur : en retorisk analys av Parken Zoo:s kriskommunikation
Crisis communication can make a crisis turn into a double crisis. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze by which rhetorical means a double crisis can occur. With the Swedish zoo Parken Zoo as a specific example, this essay examines the crisis communication during the Crises that started with the tv-show Kalla fakta. The tv-show revealed that Parken Zoo killed and slaughtered endangered and sacred animals. When asked about the specific animals, the head of the zoo gave different answers ? which contrasted with former employees testimony.
Förväntningsgapets dynamik
Title: The dynamics of the Audit expectation gapIntroduction: The audit expectations gap is the difference that exists between what auditors and users of accounting information expects an independent auditor to do. Since the definition arose in 1974, much research has been done about the gap. What is relatively unexplored is how the gap changes over time within a country, and how it is affected by external events. This lack of knowledge has motivated this study.Problem: How has the audit expectation gap changed in Sweden, from the emergence of the definition until today? In which way have corporate scandals and legislative changes affected the gap?Purpose: The aim is to identify and create an understanding of how the audit expectation gap has changed in Sweden.
