Core self-evaluation (CSE) begreppet har i tidigare studier visat sig predicera prestation i arbetssammanhang. Antaganden har gjorts om att även andra personlighetsdrag borde ingå i detta begrepp för att ytterligare förstärka dess prediktionsförmåga. Det har dock ännu inte klarlagts exakt vilka personlighetsdrag detta skulle gälla. Tidigare forskning har föreslagit extraversion som en förstärkning av CSE-modellen. Hypotesen i föreliggande undersökning var att CSE är en prediktor för prestation, samt att extraversion förklarar varians i prestation utöver CSE och därmed stärker modellen.

The public libraries were quick to adapt to the changes that the Internet brought on, and today library websites are an important part of the public library. To meet the needs of teens today, the library website could offer a range of contents to make it an attractive place on many levels; both the academic needs as well as social and recreational needs should be addressed.The aim of this thesis is to evaluate public library websites for teenagers in Sweden, and to examine how well the websites address the developmental tasks and needs that teenagers have. The method used is website evaluation, one quantitative and one qualitative. A total of 60 public library sites for teenagers were evaluated, using 11 criteria based on Havighursts developmental tasks. The quantitative evaluation measured how many functions each website had per criteria, and showed that the majority of the sites had one or two functions for most of the criteria.

There is an increase of financial integration, which can be seen in recent mergers of banks, financial institutions etc. in the European Union especially in the Nordic countries. However there are some weaknesses in providing consumers cross border services in the sector of banking, such as cross border bank account transfer of payments. The existing transaction costs do not encourage cross border services. Nevertheless a customer of a global or European bank can anticipate to be treated the same way in all of its branch offices inside the EU countries.

The running of a Swedish pre-school is not just about taking care of children but involves incorporating educational activities that follow curriculum guidelines. In addition, time must be allocated for planning, discussion, evaluation and reflection. Many pre-school teachers feel that there is insufficient planning time which is needed to follow the established curriculum guidelines for kindergarten. Due to the rising numbers of children per class, and the obligation to document and evaluate everything, pressure and lack of time has become a significant issue.The purpose of this study is to investigate four pre-school teachers´ views on pedagogical planning and reflection time. Företagens sociala ansvar är en idé om hur ett företag kan påverka samhället från tre perspektiv och det är de ekonomiska, miljömässiga och sociala delarna i samhället. Genom att ta socialt ansvar kan företaget bidra till utvecklingen av ett hållbart samhälle. Detta arbete är en kvalitativ studie och den identifierar, undersöker och analyserar om hur Danske Bank tar ett samhällsansvar och hur de arbetar för att uppnå en hållbar utveckling i samhället.

This thesis deals with an iterative user-centered IT-development project in a bank setting. The aim is to present a solution for deployment of future Internet banking for small businesses. The project features a design of IT-related concepts and ideas with a strong emphasis on scenario-based design and the usage of patterns as a documentation tool.The project plan featured an iterative framework and was carried out by a group of designers in collaboration with a reference group representing the future users of the system. This group consisted of company managers and bank employees, all from the small town of Åtvidaberg in Sweden.The method used in the development process was Scrum. A total of three sprints were completed with user meetings at the end of every sprint.

När en god tjänstekvalitet har uppnåtts kan detta leda till en viss tillfredsställelse hos kunden. Denna tillfredsställelse är en känsla som kunden får efter att tjänsten har levererats vilket visar till vilken grad kundens förväntningar är uppfyllda. För att besvara undersökningens syfte, vilka kriterier som påverkar kundtillfredsställelsen, utformades en enkät utifrån Grönroos (2002) sju kriterier för god tjänstekvalitet. Denna enkät delades ut till kunderna i Handelsbanken Västerås City under begränsad tid. Undersökningen visar att sambandet mellan ?Rykte och trovärdighet? och ?Kundtillfredsställelse? är starkt.

The Swedish language has for over six hundred years been under influence of foreign languages. Nowadays, it is the English language that undoubtedly affects it in largest scale - even though both French and especially German have had a serious influence through history. In an inquiry by behalf of the Swedish Government, named Mål i mun ? förslag till handlingsprogram för svenska språket (2002), one of the conclusions was that journalism is an important area that has to be under linguistic supervision to avoid a gradual weakening of the Swedish language. It is also a known fact that the Swedish sports writers has a tendency to use a lot of English words, even though there are equivalent Swedish ones applicable.

Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka hur bankerna intäkts- och kostnadsstruktur har förändrats över de senaste 20 åren. För att uppnå vårt syfte har vi använt oss av en induktiv metod. Vi utgår från empirin för att sedan söka förståelse för denna i olika teorier. Våra slutsatser är att båda bankerna har minskat sina intäkter från räntenettot och istället ökat intäkterna från avkastning och utdelning från handel med värdepapper. Det är stora skillnader i in- och utlåning, övriga lån och bankcertifikat mellan bankerna.

 This report is an evaluation of Peab's purchase and call-off system, PIA.PIA is used to order goods for Peab's construction sites. The background to the work is that users of the system have understood the system cumbersome to use when purchasing goods for construction sites. The evaluation was carried out by the interviews and tests with users of the program, in this case, supervisors and site managers at the company. Ten users of the system were interviewed and eleven people have carried out a test order.The focus is primarily on the test order that users have implemented, which has been clocked and analyzed for time and cost. The evaluation is also a user analysis concerning how the users perceive the program, mainly in terms of usability, functionality and benefits.The result of this report shows that PIA is economically profitable to use for the purchase of goods for construction sites.

This study aims to identify the municipalities of Hallands? methods, guidelines and policies in integration concerning new arrivals of children and teenagers. Some of the new arrivals are under the power of Swedish Migration Board and some of them are by a contract handed over to the municipalities. The evaluation is based on Michael Lipskys street-level bureaucracy which puts its focus on the lower level of bureaucrats meeting with clients. The frame is Skolverkets guideline for education of new arrivals which is more or less a way towards a common policy.

Syftet: Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka i vilken mån tänkesättet bakom begreppet kundlojalitet används i samarbetet mellan Resurs Bank och butikerna, samt att analysera hur kundlojalitetsprogram kan användas för att fördjupa samarbetet mellan en sidoleverantör och dess betjänade butiker.Undersökningsfrågor: Hur arbetar Resurs Bank med sin kundlojalitet? Hur värvar Resurs Bank sina kunder och på vilka sätt kan man kvarhålla sina kunder på sikt?Slutsats: Vi har genom hela uppsatsen försökt betona vikten av starka relationer. Konklusionen som blev avgörande för vårt studiefall är att bankens roll som sidoleverantör är betydande. För att dessa relationer ska fungera krävs det ett välfungerat samarbete som bygger på täta förbindelser. Vidare betraktar vi situationen som sådan att båda parterna har stora möjligheter att nyttja varandras tjänster på ett resultatinriktat sätt.

We wish to explore what are the meanings and implications of diversity for the employees of each company, how their discourses on diversity reflect hypocrisy in the organizations and if and how national context has an impact on discourse on diversity.Methodology: Interviews were conducted, transcribed and codified. Comparison and evaluation of the different discourses were examined around diversity and in the talk of interviewees within the two companies.

The graduation essay has been carried out in co-operation with Kalmar Industries in Lidhult, Sweden. The purpose of our essay was to develop a complete construction solution on a hoist that could lift a laying wheel, lift it up and then turn it 90 degrees. After that the wheel shall be placed in a special holder.The background of the essay is a record of reports of damage wheels when they been incorrect lifted with a forklift. The hoist shall be used together with the same forklifts that manage the wheels today. Together with our instructor at Kalmar Industries we developed a requirement specification and from that we got free hands.However this was not the main task from the beginning, then a simular hoist should be develop but used directly in the assembly workshop without using a forklift.We started to find principle solutions that later was evaluated against the requirement specification.

Introduction: Mental illness is a public health issue which 20-40 per cent of the inhabitantsin Sweden suffer from. Many factors can lead to mental illness and because of that it isimportant that different organisations and professions collaborate in prevention and healthpromotion work. To develop the collaborative process by noticing difficulties and successes,documenting, follow-up and evaluation is of great importance. Aim: The aim of this literaturereview is to investigate which methods are used for evaluation of health promoting anddisease preventive collaborative projects, which focuses on mental health directly orindirectly, and find out what results these projects has revealed.
