Several cities have implemented various projects to improve traffic safety in city centers.During 1970s and 1980s the city centers changed as the suburbs grew and large shopping centers were located outside the center. At the same time, several projects were initiated with construction of pedestrian streets and restriction of traffic in the center. In year 1994,shared-used areas were introduced in Sweden and these areas are often used in center environments.In Sweden, municipalities are responsible for integrating security in public places and in comprehensive plans and detailed development plans. The National Board of Housing,Building and Planning is the authority for administrating planning issues and develop general guidance about planning. Traffic is one of their key issues, although today there are no concrete guidelines from the National Board of Housing, Building and Planningfor the design of traffic safety in city centers.Traffic safety in city centers affects many people because the city center is a public place.It is therefore important that there are current guidelines available that are helpful for changes and improvements in traffic safety in the city center.The purpose of this report is to formulate guidelines for planning city centers from a traffic safety perspective.

Under vår praktiktid ute till sjöss var det inte ovanligt att vi råkade på ritningar som inte helt stämde överens med verkligheten. Efter att ha diskuterat med ombordanställda märkte man tydligt att detta verkade vara vanligt förekommande.Detta arbete syftar till att ta reda på vilka faktorer som de ombordanställda anser vara de störst bidragande orsakerna till problematiken med att systemritningar ombord inte alltid stämmer överens med verkligheten ute i maskinrummet.Vi har valt att dela upp vår undersökning i två avdelningar. Dels en informationssamlande studie på administrativ nivå, det vill säga regelverk och policys hos rederier, klassningssällskap samt myndigheter. Vår primära studie är utförd i intervjuform, och ligger på handhavandenivå, det vill säga de ombordanställda som har hand om ritningarna ombord och deras erfarenheter samt åsikter i ämnet. Efter det att resultatet av intervjuerna analyserats har det sammanfattats i en enkät, som besvarades av våra respondenter.Våra resultat av undersökningen kan sammanfattas två tydliga faktorer.

The aim of this study was to describe and to analyze needs and social efforts concerning unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children. The responsibility for the reception of this target group was transferred on July 1, 2006 from the Swedish Migration Board to the municipalities that sign an agreement with the Swedish Migration Board. Eight qualitative interviews were carried out with representatives for transit-residents and assigned municipalities in Skåne. Our main questions were: How has the reception of unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children been planned, how do the municipalities and the transit-residents consider their needs and what is the level of qualifications and competence within the municipalities in order to work with unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children on the basis of social efforts? We chose to clarify our findings on the basis of the attachment theory, which is applicable during the critical emancipation phase that the vast majority of the unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children find themselves in.

Sweden signed, in 1992, the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and has thus assumed responsibility for the indigenous biodiversity. That also means that Sweden has a conservation responsibility for the Swedish Friesian (SLB) (SJV, 2007a). In a survey conducted by the Board of Agriculture (SJV) in 1996, it appeared that there were around 780 cows and heifers of the SLB breed (SJV, 1997). SJV did in 2006 a plan for the development of livestock genet-ic resources and the number of cows of SLB was estimated at approximately 200. This meant that the SLB was in need of being conserved and SJV assumed it would be categorized as threatened.The primary objective of conservation of a breed is to reduce the loss of the original genetic variation (Lacy et al., 1995).

This is a study of how democracy is affected by regionalization. The study focuses on values related to the democracy; these values are representative, transparency, participation, anchoring of decisions and accountability. The case study for this essay is the Regional Development Council of Värmland case study of Region Värmland.1997 a proposition was put forward the Swedish government about changes in responsibilities regarding four Swedish counties. It was decided that Kalmar, Gotland, Skåne and Västra Götaland County would be part of pilot project with extended regional autonomy.Region Värmland was formed at 2001 as a Region Development Council and was at 2007 transformed to a co-cooperative body. The community has developed different kinds of institutional care for individuals with dysfunctional behaviour. Those institutions are mental hospitals and prisons. Detta arbete behandlar problemområdet systemförvaltning och är en vidareutveckling av förvaltningsmodellen vid systemförvaltningsprocessen. Vid systemförvaltningsarbetet finns det olika förvaltningsmodeller som kan vara ett stöd vid taktisk och operativ styrning samt administrativ kontroll.Systemförvaltningsmodellen består generellt av sju olika rekommenderade delmodeller där bland annat systemförvaltningsprocessen ingår. Modeller för systemförvaltningsprocessen bör förenkla, effektivisera och ge stöd när systemförfrågningar samt systemkrav inkommer från verksamhetsledningen eller systemanvändaren. Undersökningen i detta examensarbete fokuserar på en vidareutveckling av modellen Application Maintenace Cycle (AM/Cycle) som utvecklats av Peder Brandt.Vidareutvecklingen i detta arbete resulterar i en modell för systemförvaltningsprocessen, vilken benämns Application Maintenace Schedule Cycle (AMS/Cycle). Litteraturstudier och intervjuer har påvisat vissa svagheter med modellen AM/Cycle, vilket tagits i beaktande vid vidareutvecklingen av AMS/Cycle.

AbstractThe OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm requires all large companies to apply the Swedish Code ofCorporate Governance. A revised code will be applied from July 2008. The purpose of this paper is toidentify the accessibility of information on corporate governance and in particular how the compliance,concerning the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance in the perspective of an internet active generalpublic.This paper is a complete census of the companies at the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm whocomplies with the code. Each company website has been visited and a comparison between the sectorsat the OMX Exchange Stockholm has been performed.Results: 96% of the companies present the members of the nomination committee. 94% presents thenomination committees proposal of the company board members, though only 33% of the companies inthe Energy sector.

Syftet med studien är att genom att dela fyra socialsekreterares berättelser om deras arbete med försörjningsstöd på vuxenenheten vid Socialtjänsten nå en djupare förståelse för den kontext de verkar i och vilka generativa mekanismer som kan bidra till, respektive hämma, det sociala arbetets utveckling.Studien som gjordes 2009-10-12 ? 2009-12-23 är kvalitativ till sin natur och påbörjades med observationer på plats, vid socialkontoret i Ludvika. Observationerna användes som underlag för semistrukturerade intervjuer med fyra av enhetens socialsekreterare. Intervjuguiden som användes innehöll åtta specifika interaktions- samverkans- eller relationsteman;Klientarbetet, arbetsgruppen, administrativ ledning, politisk ledning, tillsyn och överklagan, organisationsförändringar, Arbetsförmedlingen, Försäkringskassan.Uppsatsens resultat visar på att: Långtgående delegation av befogenheter och ansvar i kombination med; dels en starkt regel- och rutinstyrd handläggning; dels en ömsesidigt trygg, harmonisk och tillitsfull arbetsgrupp som fungerar självreglerande genom en repetitiv kollektiv förstärkning av önskade beteenden, kan utgöra en rimlig förklaring till att socialsekreterare - en i teorin potentiell maktfaktor ? inte utövar ett större inflytande på socialtjänstens utformning och innehåll..

The Swedish regions are new phenomena, from the start from the new regionalism which started in the 1980´s. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze Region Skåne and Västra Götalandsregionen to come to a conclusion which model of region they are and want to be by using theories of regional identity and identity of politics and see similarities and differences. My research question is: Which of cultural, administrative and functional region are Region Skåne and Västra Götaland striving to construct?   The methods I have used are qualitative text- and content analysis to analyze the regions, by using theories about regional identity and identity of politics. Furthermore, I am using some statistic from SOM-institutet to analyze the regional identity in the regions.   The result show that Region Skåne is constructing a cultural region, because of their strong regional identity and that the politicians are using identity of politics to combine the citizens.

Supervisors ansvarar för den dagliga ledningen av kabinkåren och delar sin tjänst mellan att vara administrativ ledare och att arbeta som kabinanställd i organisationen. Syftet med studien var att med hjälp av en kvalitativ induktiv metod få ökad förståelse för hur arbetsrollen ser ut och upplevs. Resultatet baseras på enskilda intervjuer, vilka tolkades i enlighet med en induktiv tematisk analys. En Supervisor rekryteras från kabinkåren och innehar två olika roller i verksamheten. Supervisorrollen har förändrats över tid.
