Problem areaAlfa Laval is a world leading company in the heat transfers area and have the vision to continue to be that in the future as well. The company has a lot of press lines where the utilization is high and also has started to become old. Prognosis shows that there is an increased demand of heat exchanger in the future. This increased demand is not something that existing lines will manage. To build new lines cost a lot of money and take time so it is essential that new lines are correct from the start and not need to be rebuilt or a lot of time spent to trim it.GoalThe goal is to achieve 100% theoretical utilization of the press (the press shall press the amount of plates it is designed for).

Hästens roll i samhället har förändrats, från att vara ett arbetsredskap i strid eller i det dagliga arbetet, till ett fritidsintresse som får ta allt större plats. Samtidigt är strävan mot ett hållbart samhälle med ekologi och miljö som nyckelord en viktig del. Hästen kan då anta en nygammal roll som redskap för att uppfylla kriterierna som ett miljövänligt arbetsdjur. I Sverige finns fortfarande kunskaper för att använda arbetshästar, dessa kunskaper kan förvaltas, utvecklas och utnyttjas i mer än uppvisningssyfte.I studien undersöks hästen som arbetsredskap i parkmiljöer ur miljö- ekonomi- och brukarperspektiv. Som metoder har litteraturstudie, intervjuer och en Cost-Benefit-analys använts.

Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie av bilderböcker, från 1970-talet och 2000-talet. I början av uppsatsen presenteras en historisk tillbakablick i bilderbokens historia för att skapa förståelse för hur bilderboken är uppbyggd och vad den innehåller idag.Studien behandlar olika teman i bilderböcker, förskola, döden, skilsmässa och invandring. Med fokus på ett visst tema från 1970-talet, sedan har denna jämförts med en bok från 2000-talet som analyserats med samma utgångspunkter.Inspirerade av en tidigare studie har vi utgått från följande frågor för vår analys: hur samspelar text och bild i bilderboken? Hur beskriver bilden händelsen i boken? Stämmer skildringen i boken överens med sin tid samt vad finns det för skillnader respektive likheter i våra utvalda bilderböcker inom särskilda teman, i jämförelse 1970-tal samt 2000-tal?I resultat och analys presenteras böckerna, vad de handlar om, en deskriptiv analys av vardera bok och en jämförande analys. Sedan skrivs en sammanfattande analys, då de båda tidsepokerna, 1970-tal och 2000-tal jämförs.

The bachelor's thesis is to examine the explanatory factors affecting the choice of capital structure in real estate companies. The analysis is based on data collected from the main financial reporting from 2007; all listed real estate companies listed on Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish stock market. Based on previous research and theories, we have defined five independent variables that are linked to the debt ratio, which are: profitability, growth, firm size, cost of debt and operational risk. The statistical tests have resulted in that we can say with certainty that profitable firms tend to have a lower debt to equity ratio. We can also say with certainty that property companies with high interest costs have a high level of indebtedness..

Föreliggande rapport är ett examensarbete vid högskoleingenjörsprogrammet i byggteknik och design vid Kungliga tekniska högskolan i Haninge och gjordes på uppdrag av Siljeströms AB. Rapporten har till syfte att ge en översiktlig bild beträffande kostnadsstyrning i byggprojekt, med en tyngdpunkt i projekteringens riskhantering. Att kostnadsstyra är något som är viktigt att göra, desto tidigare i projektet det görs ju bättre resultat har detta för projektets totalkostnad. Kostnadsstyrningen har sin grund i tre viktiga parametrar: tid, kostnad och kvalitet, de måste styras på rätt sätt och tillsammans för att inte skapa obalans i projektbudgeten. En annan faktor som också påverkar kostnadsstyrningen är entreprenadform. Denna rapport kommer att bygga på totalentreprenad, generalentreprenad och delad utförandeentreprenad. Fördelar och nackdelar tas upp med respektive metod. Produktionskostnad är också något som påverkar den totala projektkostnaden trots att den största kostnadsstyrningen görs i början av ett projekt.

I denna uppsats presenteras och diskuteras Virginia Woolfs förstavågs- feminism genom en analys av The Voyage Out, Mrs Dalloway och A Room of One's Own. Analysen sker genom en närläsning av texterna, men även tidigare gjorda analyser används. Woolfs texter sätts här i relation till det tidiga 1900-talets patriarkala engelska samhälle, suffragettrörelsen men även Woolfs litterära- och yrkesmässiga liv är av betydelse. Resultatet blir en kvalitativ läsning där fokus ligger på tidig feminism och Woolfs kamp för kvinnans rätt till ett självständigt liv..

Denna uppsats behandlar Steven Spielbergs film Schindlers list med utgångspunkt i de historiedidaktiska begreppen historiemedvetande och historiebruk. Arbetet baseras således på en analys av filmen. Utslaget av denna analys har blivit en diskussion kring dels specifika scener, dels hur filmen i sin helhet ger uttryck för historiebruk och på vad sätt ett historiemedvetande kan stimuleras. Av vikt har även varit att framhålla på vilket sätt filmen som narrativ kan stimulera ett historiemedvetande. The interest in gardens and plants is steadily increasing, official statistics show an increase of garden plants and flower consumption, of an annual 3 per cent. Garden centers and market gardens are in great need of development to be able to tackle the prevailing competition, and maintain a steady growth. Many companies are heading for a generation shift and are founding it difficult to find and employ younger managers. The aim of this report is to examine different strategies of garden centers and market gardens through the manager/ owner?s views and opinions about competition, growth and success.

Tolerance and resistance are two different defence mechanisms within the immune system that differ from each other in many ways: However it is not clear which of the two is the most advantageous in dairy production. Resistance is described as the ability to fight a pathogen in a host. Tolerance is, on the other hand, not aggressive to the pathogen per se, but rather protects the host and its tissues. Furthermore tolerance rather offsets the toxin from, for example, a parasite whilst resistance offsets the parasite itself. The current system is installed, configured and controlled from a control panel for all audiences.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att göra en kritisk analys av ett Hälsoprofilsbedömningsinstrument (HPB) för att i förlängningen kunna vidareutveckla instrumentet, som efter dagens förutsättningar, bättre uppmuntrar individer till ett livslångt lärande inom hälsa. HPB är en metod som mäter fysiologiska aspekter och levnadsvanor. I hälsofrämjande arbete fokuseras det på både individ och miljö. Metoden som har använts har varit en form av litteraturstudie, sökningarna av material gjordes i olika databaser samt genom manuell genomsökning av tidsskrifter och litteratur.Resultatet av studien visade på att alla variabler som HPB mäter hade mer eller mindre samband med hälsa. Det vill säga faktorerna motion, kost, tobak, alkohol, symptom, stress och socialt stöd.

For a long time I have felt that there is a lack of time planning productson the market that attracts me to use them. Therefore I wantedto explore the possibilities of developing something that I reallywanted to use.At first I tried to come up with a more general tool for planningand structuring time, different from the products that are alreadyavailable. But soon I found it more interesting to see myself as theprimary user. This way I felt that I could experiment more and Ididn?t have to take things like production, cost and possible targetgroups into consideration.As I set out with an aim to try and understand my own problemswith planning and structuring time the project became a very personalone.

This paper analyzes the Swedish labor market during the interwar and early postwar period within the framework of modern labor market theory. The development of unemployment during this period - according to the commonly cited source of labor union reports - represents a conundrum for research. The unemployment rate rose after the initial diverse shock of 1921 and stayed at a permanently higher level for the rest of the interwar period. This development was reversed after World War Two when the unemployment rate decreased and stayed permanently low for the rest of the postwar period until the oil price chock of the 1970s.In a first step the available sources of unemployment statistics is investigated and compared. The general conclusion is that the labor union reports overestimate the level of economy wide unemployment while being a reasonably good indicator of movements in the rate.
