Hur är ungdomars förhåll-ningssätt till krogbesök? En kvalitativ intervjustudie
This paper is about finding out why minors are visiting pubs, and what it is that determines which pubs they opt to visit. To catch this, a qualitative approach is applied, specifically Fo-cus group interviews. There are interviews with a total of 10 informants. The informants come from two different schools in Gothenburg. There are six boys and four girls.
Impairment test av goodwill : En ny djungel för en revisor?
Inför år 2005 infördes nya regler för hur goodwill i företag ska hanteras. Detta ställer nya krav på hur företag ska hantera goodwill, men detta innebär också nya problem och gransknings-möjligheter för en revisor. Uppsatsen syftar till att lyfta fram svårigheterna för en revisor när denne ska granska ett av företagets gjorda impairment -test av goodwill och vilka medel som den har till sitt förfogande för att genomför granskningen. Studien grundar sig på intervjuer med revisorer och branschorganisationer. En revisor är styrd av lagar och redovisningsprinci-per när denne ska granska ett företag men revisorn är också beroende av den information som kommer ifrån företaget.

Dels har vi gjort en kvantitativ undersökning av Riskkapitalföreningens hemsida, där majoriteten av Sveriges VC-bolag finns representerade, dels har vi gjort en kvalitativ undersökning i form av telefonintervjuer.
Biogas till kraftvärme på Wapnö : en projektanalys utifrån ett företagsekonomiskt perspektiv
Biogas is a gaseous fuel, rich in methane, produced through a biological route in an anaerobic digester. A gas engine generates combined heat and power, which can be used at the farm to reduce energy cost. The process also generates a digestate, with better utilization of nutrient compared to cattle manure.
The aim of this study is to analyze the profitability of a farm-scale biogas plant for combined heat and power (CHP) at Wapnö. Wapnö is an agriculture company located in the southern part of Sweden.

When planning new wind farms, the cost for the internal electrical grid is estimated to account for 8-9 % of the total investment cost. On top of that, the cost for accumulated reduced income over several years (due to electrical losses), has to be added. The economic lifespan is relatively long (about 20 years) which means that an error in the loss calculation could lead to a bad decision basis. The accumulated reduced incomes due to electrical losses can be higher than the initial investment cost for the internal electrical grid.Today, Statkraft Sweden is using a template number when estimating the electrical losses in a wind farm. In order to produce grain in an economically rational manner numerous decisions have to be made. One of these decisions is what tillage system to use. The cost of the tillage system is a large part of the total cost in grain production. Different tillage systems result in different distribution of fixed costs, operating costs and timeliness costs. The price of the produced grain and cost of inputs also affect the best way to produce grain.

This thesis suggest an explanation for is how it is possible to understand that the large arena project in Växjö grew to cost sums of money that initially in the project not would have been an alternative to discuss, how goals changed and how the institutional environment changed the prerequisites of the project. As empirical part of the research, to describe and analyze the project, the municipality?s documentation of the project have been analyzed and semi-structured interviews have been made. Theoretical perspective is taken from the neo-institutionalism in sociology of organizations and change, and theories of the complexity of large projects with major symbolic value and importance. The project starts with the municipality?s investment and cost to be hold back, defined as a necessary condition in order to fulfil an ambitious drive towards new sport arenas. Eventually the necessary condition was abandoned and the arenas were built with the municipality responsible for the investment, cost and risk in the project.

This report deals with issues related to construction waste. Building material that has not been built into the project is defined as construction waste. Cost of construction waste amounts to 4-12 % of the total cost of the project. Moreover, cost of construction waste is 1-3 % of the production cost. The aim of this study is to increase knowledge about the main causes of waste within the construction industry.

The study has examined how some immigrants have managed to reestablish their professional careers in Sweden. Through in-depth-interviewing with six immigrant informants representing different genders, age and professional experience the process of successfully reestablishing a career within the same professional area in Sweden as in their native country is examined.The study looked at structural and individual possibilities and obstacles which affected the individual. In addition the study looked at the personal characteristics and strategies used by the informants to overcome and succeed in adapting and reestablishing their working life. The study has drawn on human capital and social capital theory for a basic understanding of how education and skills affect. In addition the informants have surpassed structural barriers affecting many other immigrants.

Hur bestäms diskonteringsräntan? : En studie av två branscher
Införandet av redovisningsstandarderna IAS/IFRS år 2005 innebar förändringar för företagen, och en av de större förändringarna var redovisningen till tillgångars verkliga värde. I IAS 36 anges hur prövningar av eventuella nedskrivningsbehov ska genomföras, och det sker genom en jämförelse mellan tillgångens redovisade värde och återvinningsvärdet, vilket är det högre av tillgångens verkliga värde minus försäljningskostnader och nyttjandevärdet. Beräkningen av verkligt värde minus försäljningskostnader vållar sällan problem för företagen, medan beräkningen av nyttjandevärdet är mer komplicerat; framtida kassaflöden från tillgången ska uppskattas och diskonteras med en diskonteringsränta vilken återspeglar företagets kapitalkostnad. Då valet av diskonteringsränta kan vara komplicerat då IAS 36 Bilaga A anger allmänna riktlinjer har två branscher, verkstadsindustrin och dagligvaruindustrin, undersökts för att avgöra hur företag i praktiken väljer sin diskonteringsränta. Undersökningen visade att majoriteten av företagen i undersökningen använt Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) före skatt som sin diskonteringsränta, vilket är i enlighet med IAS 36.
Den svenska äldrevården : Behov, konkurrens, kvalitet och valfrihet ur ett fastighetsperspektiv
In this thesis an explorative study was undertaken with the aim to study how a number of private care providers, as well as politicians and officials from councils in and around the Stockholm and Uppsala counties, think about the future of the Swedish elderly care from a property perspective, i.e. homes for the elderly. The analysis shows that there is a demand for capacity in 6 out of 16 municipalities, and that the property is an important part of this capacity, and the fulfillment of it. This was mainly due to the Cost of Capital, but also because of several other factors such as lack of land, a wish to guide the design, ideology, and in many cases a wish to use the property as an instrument of domination to control private health care providers.Also, the property was show to be connected to economic competition, to freedom of choice, and to quality. The problems related to the property in the market for elderly care still remains to be solved.
Passivhus - lönsamt eller ej? : En jämförelse mellan ett passivhus och ett konventionellt hus
As a result of increased energy prices more and more energy-efficient homes are coveted. An energy-efficient alternative is passive houses, which is characterized by an extremely well insulated building envelope that recovers the heat without the use of radiators or under floor heating. But a passive house requires a higher investment cost than a conventional building project, since it will require more construction materials, training of construction workers, greater land area, and long construction period. But the lower operating cost expects to pay back the higher cost of investment. We therefore question how profitable a passive house is in relation to houses built according to modern conventional building techniques.The aim of our study is to investigate the viability of passive houses compared to conventional houses.
