Via semantisk analys har förekomst och variation av KRAFTmetaforer i två olika typer av texter jämförts. Hypotesen är att kognitiva neurala nätverk som ansvarar för den abstrakta tanken är tätt sammanbundna med kognitiva neurala nätverk som representerar känsloerfarenhet baserat på sensoriska upplevelser. Analysen utfördes på två olika typer av texter. Resultatet visar på signifikant skillnad i förekomsten av antalet metaforer i de olika texterna. Ett antagande för undersökningen var att självbiografiska texter är mer förankrade i känsloerfarenhet baserat på sensoriska upplevelser än vad argumenterande texter är.

The purpose of this thesis is to define and theorise willingness-to-support as a possible measurement of corporate reputation. The knowledge production in this thesis is done through reasoning with companies to gain a deeper understanding of the social world and the respondents? view of their reality. Grounded theory is used as an inspiration for conducting the research. A qualitative method is used in the form of semi-structured interviews with six companies in three different business sectors.

Bakgrund: Ökade krav på att företag skall ta ett större etiskt och miljömässigt ansvar för sin verksamhet har väckts under senare år. Corporate social responsibility är ett samlingsnamn för detta ansvarstagande.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att fastställa huruvida företags arbete med corporate social responsibility har någon synbar effekt på företags marknadsvärden, eller om företag bara förspiller sina resurser på ett ansvarstagande och informationsskapande som deras aktieägare nonchalerar.Teoretiskt perspektiv: Författarna redogör för forskningen inom ämnet CSR och presenterar de två teorier som används; den effektiva marknadshypotesen och agent-principalförhållandet. Därtill belyser författarna begreppen etik, moral och förtroende för att läsaren skall erhålla en djupare förståelse för de begrepp som genomsyrar CSR.Metod: För att kunna besvara uppsatsen syfte väljer författarna att genomföra en metodtriangulering bestående av en enkätundersökning bland fondbolag, en eventstudie på negativ publicitet om företags agerande i etik- och miljöfrågor och slutligen fem intervjuer med miljö- och etikanalytiker.Resultat: Resultaten från eventstudien pekar på att företags aktiekurser generellt sett inte reagerar på information kopplade till CSR. Vid enstaka händelser som är nära kopplade till företags kärnverksamhet kunde författarna dock urskilja begränsade effekter på företags marknadsvärden.Empiri: Majoriteten av intervjurespondenterna såg en ökad trend av aktivt ägarskap i Sverige men framförallt i USA. Det aktiva ägarskapet har lett till att fondbolag och förvaltare gått från uteslutning av företag till att försöka påverka dem till förbättringar inom CSR-frågor och Corporate governance.

During the last couple of years, personal branding has come to be an established term, just like corporate branding. With the growth of the social media and the thousands of ways to interact with each other personal brands face great competition. It is more difficult than ever to maintain a strong brand, partly because of this. There are several growth options for brands.

This study is based on a case study of Pilotprojekt Drevfjällen, a project whose ambition is tofind ways to secure nature conservation in a local context. This is promoted at governmentlevel, which says that a local connection is needed to achieve sustainable regionaldevelopment. The study, based on a theoretical background of the concept of governance,intends to evaluate whether Pilotprojekt Drevfjällen can contribute to a sustainable regionaldevelopment.This study is based on meeting documentations, semi-structured interviews with variousstakeholders in the project, field studies and participant observation at an informativemeeting. The region of interest, north Dalarna, was visited twice to obtain the specificconditions that Pilotprojekt Drevfjällen have. The interviews revealed positive attitude to theincreased dialogue and cooperation that Pilotprojekt Drevfjällen has meant for theparticipants.

The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.

The aim of this essay is to examine the handling of plastic waste on a local level in the three municipalities of Gothenburg, Malm? and Stockholm. This is achieved with the help of guidance within the theory of Multi-level Governance. By applying the EU directive 2019/904, about disposable plastic, and examining the global plastic problem, the efforts to promote sustainable use, and recycling of plastic, is analyzed. The method involves a qualitative content analysis, where the 2022 waste plans of the three municipalities, ?Sveriges handlingsplan f?r plast? by the Government Office, and the 2019/904 EU directive constitutes the base of the study.

In a global context the traditional democratic process is facing new challenges. Scholars are talking about a transition from government to governance, where local and regional networks as well as international collaboration are an important part in how regional policy is produced and implemented. In this paper the processes in regional projects funded by the European Union are considered, and related to the traditional democratic process. The study has been fulfilled through informant interviews with representatives from four EU-projects. The interviews are supplemented by a qualitative text analysis of current statutes.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att identifiera faktorer som kan påverka samverkansorganet Östsams framtida utvecklingsmöjligheter. Jag har valt att göra en intervjubaserad fallstudie på fallet Östsam. Intervjupersonerna består av utvalda aktörer som arbetar i processen med Östams övergång från att vara en ideell förening till att bilda ett samverkansorgan. Vidare i undersökningen har jag valt att jämföra intervjuerna med den proposition som ligger till grund för det riksdagsbeslut som antagits angående bildandet av samverkansorgan. Begreppen: motiv, samverkansmöjligheter, skapande av legitimitet, utvecklingsmöjligheter och vision har legat till grund för stora delar av undersökningen.

Background: Corporate Responsibility is not a new concept however in recent times more companies are starting to use different kinds of responsibility disclosures. These disclosures are voluntary and corporations may use them in the way they find suits them best. There is a lot of research in this field and there is no single explanation for what Corporate Responsibility is and how corporations should relate to it.Purpose: The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between the controlling owners of corporations and CSR disclosure.Method: We use a content analysis and a survey study to examine the relationship between corporate controlling owners and the CSR disclosure.Conclusions: Our results show that controlling owners have little effect on the different dimensions of CSR disclosure. We have however found some differences between the different owner categories where some categories are found to use CSR disclosure to a greater extent..

Syfte: Att bolag inte alltid styrs av sina ägare har varit betydande för marknadsekonomins utveckling. Införandet av aktiebolag sänkte riskerna samtidigt som möjligheterna ökade. I börsnoterade bolag finns ofta ett brett ägande vilket innebär risker vid tillvaratagandet av intressen. Ägare och ledning är sällan den samma och deras intressen skiljer sig ofta åt. För att minska riskerna har många länder infört olika bolagsstyrningskoder.
