S?rkoppling och ?terkoppling inom modeindustrin. En studie av implementationen av h?llbarhetpolicies i den svenska modeindustrin

The aim of this study is to study how sustainability policies are implemented and perceived in the operations of a Swedish fashion company. The fashion industry is affected by strict controls when it comes to transparency and reporting of sustainability efforts. This contributes to a strong focus on sustainability. The theoretical framework revolved around institutional theory where the phenomenas of decoupling and recoupling were central. A qualitative case study was conducted where interviews were the primary source of data.

Kommunikation av hållbarhetsfrågor : Jämförande analys av hållbarhetsredovisningar från SCA och Sveaskog

The aim of this study is to find out if there is any difference between how a state-owned company and a publicly listed private company communicate its sustainability performance in its sustainability report. It also aims to find out if the communication regarding sustainability has changed over time. The poll was conducted in two Swedish companies, Sveaskog AB and AB SCA, operating in the forestry industry and through a quantitative content analysis, the companies' sustainability reports from 2005 and 2010 were examined. To get a result, the reports has been examined by the GRI framework (Global Reporting Initiative) and an assessment of the communication was made based on a scale of 0-3. The results has been evaluated based on stakeholder theory, legitimacy theory and the growing interest in CSR. The analyses found evidence that there is a link between the form of ownership of the company and how it communicates regarding sustainability.

Vilka motiv kan företagen ha för att lämna information om CSR i årsredovisningen?SYFTESyftet är att rekapitulera studien ?Corporate Social Responsibility - vilken information lämnas i årsredovisningen av företagen på Stockholmsbörsens A-lista?, Göteborgs Universitet 2005, genom att kartlägga och jämföra CSR-redovisningen hos de företag från den dåvarande A- listan som idag är noterade på Stockholmsbörsen. Utifrån en utarbetad checklista skall undersökas vilken information som företag lämnar samt vilka skillnader som finns mellan företag och över tiden.GENOMFÖRANDEUndersökningen bygger på kvantitativ och kvalitativ innehållsanalys av årsredovisningar. Årsredovisningarna har analyserats efter en utarbetad checklista som bygger på indikatorer och principer från GRI och UN Global Compact.SLUTSATSERStudien visar att det råder stora skillnader mellan företag och den mängd CSR-information de publicerar i sin årsredovisning. Hållbarhetsredovisning och media: en studie av Vattenfall ABs hållbarhetsredovisningar och medierapporteringen under en femårsperiod

Sustainability questions that concern the subjects of environmental and social aspects are increasing in today?s society, and therefore the sustainability report is a way for companies to show their work with sustainability development by working with a clear report and follow up. As the first country in the world, Sweden has decided, as from the financial year of 2008, that all governmental owned companies should present a sustainability report according to the guidelines of GRI. The aim of this essay was to identify and analyze actual events from a sustainability aspect for Vattenfall, from a medial perspective during the time period 2005-2009. We made a content analysis of one company?s sustainability reports during a time period of five years and we connected this to the medias reports of the company from the same period, to see if there were any connections between the subjects that media had elucidated.

Hur tillämpar basindustrin aspekter kring hållbarhetsredovisning?: en fallstudie om fyra företag inom basindustrin i Norrbotten

Idag är det mycket uppmärksammat av både akademiker och användare att information från traditionella finansiella redovisningar inte är tillräckliga för att motsvara de krav som både externa och interna intressenter ställer på mer innehållsrika rapporter. Marknad och intressenter efterfrågar information om ekonomiska, miljömässiga och sociala aspekter, vilket har lett till att allt fler företag upprättar en hållbarhetsredovisning. Hållbarhetsredovisning syftar till att skapa en hållbar utveckling och ses som ett verktyg eller en möjlighet för företag att lämna information om dessa tre aspekter och det leder till ett ökat förtroende för företaget och dess verksamhet. Syftet med denna uppsats var att beskriva hur företag inom basindustrin i Norrbotten tillämpar hållbarhetsredovisning. Studien genomfördes genom en fallstudie av fyra företag för att beskriva hur de tillämpar sin hållbarhetsredovisning.

Sverige och implementering av EU-direktiv : En fallstudie av badvattendirektivet och arbetstidsdirektivet

The aim of this paper is to explain and compare non-compliance of two EU-directives, ?the quality of bathing water? and ?the working time directive?. This study answers the questions: Why didn?t Sweden implement the directive on bathing water quality and the working time directive correctly? Are the reasons for non-compliance the same or different in the two cases? The paper is designed as a case study and with an explanatory attempt we explain why the two directives weren?t implemented correctly in Sweden. The theoretical approach is based on both general- and EU-specific implementation theories.

Background: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a term that has become increasingly prominent in the corporate world. As the awareness of responsibly produced products is growing among both companies and consumers, it has become increasingly important for companies to get involved in sustainability issues. There may be several reasons why companies choose to integrate CSR in their business, where one reason may be related to company size. In the business category of micro, there is currently no widespread research, which makes this company size interesting to study. The choice of industry was made because coffee is one of the world's most important merchandise, and the coffee industry has come a long way with integrating CSR in comparision to many other industries.Purpose and research question: The purpose of this study is to create a deeper understanding of why coffee roasters in the business category of micro enterprises choose to incorporate CSR in their businesses.

The aim of this study is to investigate how Swedish listed real estate companies use quantitative sustainability measures - mainly sustainability index with a financial focus. Sustainability management is a controversial issue that is used more and more constructive. A sustainable management approach in corporate cunduct is complex and based on a number of aspects of business visions, objectives and daily procedures. The study identifies aspects that are considered relevant in real estate companies where the selection of sustainability indicators is based on the support of scientific research in this field. The study intendeds to clarify how Swedish listed real estate companies have selected aspects and indicators of sustainability management and how these work towards a sustainable development.
