Problems arise when trying to reduce the impact from transportations due to companies? limited control on forwarding agents and difficulties measuring the emissions. Purpose: From a business perspective, this report will enable a reduction of the climate impact that arises from Tetra Paks transportation of goods.

Forces of innovation alter the course of many industries. Currently there is a restructuring of the Swedish energy sector due to deregulation. This in combination with advanced technologies generates an innovative and a highly changeable environment. The result is differentiation of services and products. New actors are emerging and corporations grow larger.

The purpose of this essay is to examine the Swedish governments discourse on integration of immigrants and thereby examine what social reality it constructs. The aim is to examine how integration and immigrants are constructed within the discourse. The method and theory being used in this essay is discourse theory. As a methodological instrument we use the policy on functional impairment as a comparison. The material being analyzed in this essay is political documents on the strategy on integration policy and the strategy on the policy of functional impairment.

Bakgrund: Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancersjukdom bland kvinnor i Sverige och i världen. Mellan 15 och 20 kvinnor insjuknar varje dag. Att få beskedet bröstcancer skapar förde flesta förvirring, ångest och chock såväl hos den som är sjuk som hos de som står den drabbade kvinnan nära. De förändringar som uppstår i samband med sjukdomen och de olika behandlingarna har stor inverkan på kvinnornas självkänsla och upplevelse av hälsa. Syftet: Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att beskriva kvinnors upplevelse av att leva med bröstcancer.

Background                      European football has during the past decades seen a fast development towards a more professionalized and commercialized climate. This had led to the fact that a lot of clubs are run like any other company, and the focus on marketing and market shares has increased. To be able to create a strong brand clubs have to put a lot of work into marketing, not only of their own brand, but of their sponsors and partners as well.Purpose                              The purpose of this study is to (in step 1) analyze how two smaller Swedish football clubs build their brand and work with their marketing communication. In step 2, the purpose is to create a model of how these clubs may work to develop their brand and marketing communication.Method                              With a qualitative approach, the authors of this paper have analyzed text and documents as well as performed two in-depth interviews.Findings                             Both clubs lack a well-developed strategy regarding their work with their brand and marketing communication. However, there are in both cases factors that, if developed correctly, could help build a stronger brand and better the marketing communication.

För personal i kriminalvården är det av central betydelse, både ur ett behandlings- och säkerhetsperspektiv, att känna till orsak och verkan för olika former av destruktiva beteenden bland intagna i fängelser. Det finns forskning som tyder på att en förhållandevis stor grupp klienter begår negativa handlingar för att de är oroliga att de kommer mobbas av andra intagna. Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka om ökad hotupplevelse i kombination med en ineffektiv förmåga att hantera det upplevda hotet på kan predicera oro för att bli utsatt för mobbning bland intagna på en kriminalvårdsanstalt. I uppsatsen undersöks också vilka copingstrategier som intagna anser vara mest hjälpsamma vid oro för mobbning, och huruvida deras val av copingstrategi understöds av andra intagnas förväntningar om hur man bör handla när man riskerar bli mobbad. Trettioen deltagare från en kriminalvårdsanstalt deltog i undersökningen.

This report treats two assignments that concerns the biofuel furnace at Billerud Skärblacka AB and how these assignments were solved. The assignments were: reducing the number of CO-spikes and tuning the overfire air control loop. To reduce the number of CO-spikes the possibility that skewness in mass distribution affects the number of CO-spikes were study. The skewnwss of mass distribution was controled and adjusted with two experiments. The conclusion that was made is that the skewness of mass distribution were not sufficient enough to affect the number of CO-spikes.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningar: Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur gymnasielärare i idrott och hälsa upplever sinarbetssituation och hur de nyexaminerade lärarna gör för att hantera den. Studiensfrågeställningar var: Vilka stressorer upplever lärare i idrott och hälsa i yrket? Hur hanterarlärarna i idrott och hälsa dessa stressorer? Vilka skillnader och likheter finns det mellannyexaminerade lärare i idrott och hälsa och de med mer erfarenhet i hur de hanterar dessastressorer? Upplevs arbetssituationen bli bättre efter en längre tid i yrket?Metod: Metoden som användes var en kvalitativ metod genom intervjuer, eftersom individensverklighet, det vill säga det upplevda, var av centralt intresse. Studien utgår från 8 styckenhalvstrukturerade intervjuer där fyra respondenter har mindre än två års erfarenhet i läraryrketoch fyra stycken har minst 7 års erfarenhet. Samtliga intervjuer har spelats in på en diktafonoch sedan transkriberats.

This essay conducts a descriptive analysis of the ideas expressed by NATO´s official security strategy "Strategic Concept" from 2010 and the European Union?s security strategy "A Secure Europe in a Better World" from 2003. The purpose of this analysis is to examine whether the ESDP and NATO are compatible with each other when it comes to the role of security policy actor. To do so, I´ve chosen to analyse the actors' security strategies based on three dimensions. These dimensions are: Their view of the international scene, their views on cooperation and their views on how to reach security.

Social policy has now received an increased attention in the European Union. The European welfare states experience a high level of unemployment, which the EU now tries to handle through the European Employment Strategy (EES). The core of this essay is whether the welfare institutions of the European member states are integrating through an institutionalization process or not. SammanfattningSyftet med studien var att uifrån patienter, närstående och personal belysa de etiska dilemman och svårigheter som kan uppstå vid vård av patienter som får livsuppehållande åtgärder. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie. Litteraturstudien visade att etiska dilemman kunde uppstå vid beslut om att avstå, påbörja eller avsluta livsuppehållande behandling. I de granskade artiklarna framkom att det kunde vara stor skillnad på allmänhetens och sjukvårdens förväntningar på vården. Beslut som togs vid vård i livets slutskede var komplexa både ur ett medicinskt och känslomässigt perspektiv.

Researchers and practitioners have recognized the need for ?transforming? every policy of the company into a competitive advantage tool. Thus, both the pricing approach and the supply chain practices of the firm have emerged as an important determinant of success. In this study, however, we are not only interested in these two aspects, but also in a third one-namely cultural conflicts as an obstacle and challenge. The interaction of the tree factors is extensively presented against the backdrop of Skanska and four of their closest Polish suppliers.

Background: Brand strategy tends to become an important management issue. It is therefore interesting to reach a greater understanding about how companies work to make their existing brands stronger. The purpose of a brand is to influence the customers? view of the brand image. The literature is insufficient concerning how leaders handle the process of repositioning a brand, in order to change the brand image.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the meaning the reading group of the public library has to a number of users. To fulfill the aim the following three questions have been formulated: 1) What do a number of users expect from the reading group of the public library? 2) Which approach/attitude or approaches/attitudes do a number of users have to reading and to talking about reading? 3) How do a number of users experience the ongoing reading group?The research is founded on qualitative interviews with five users that take part in three different reading groups in public libraries. The theories that are used is the theory of three so called strategies - the pragmatic, the traditionalistic, the emancipatory ? and the theory of flow.

The global market is becoming increasingly integrated and to keep up with growing competition and to achieve even greater success, companies expand to foreign markets. Previous studies have shown that the concept of psychic distance has an important impact on international performance regarding small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). The aim of our study is to provide the reader with a deeper understanding of how psychic distance influences export performance regarding Swedish SMEs. Through a single case study of a Swedish SME, we chose to research three different markets in three different continents. Our findings show that psychic distance influences export performance through export marketing strategy and active learning.
