Genus & Mat : en analys av "Mat" och "Vad blir det för mat?" utifrån ett genus- och dramaturgiskt perspektiv

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka samspelet mellan genus och matlagning samt hur deras roller utspelas i matlagningsprogrammen. Ett urval av tidigare forskning som behandlar vårt specifika ämne samt hur vår studie särskiljer sig från dem återfinns under kapitel två. Med hjälp av de två metoderna kvantitativ och kvalitativ innehållsanalys analyserades innehållet i utvalda avsnitt ur ?Mat? och ?Vad blir det för mat??. Urvalet av de avsnitt som studerade skedde med ett systematiskt urval.

Det medeltida Fårö : en empirisk studie av tre husgrunder på en medeltida ödegård

The aim of the study was to through empirical studies interpret the relation between three partially investigated house foundations, on an abandoned farm in Langhammars on northern Fårö. This relation focused upon two main questions; the time of use and the spatial distribution of the archaeological finds.Trough comparative analysis two of these houses can establish to have been contemporary, the third one is too roughly examined. Huvudsyftet med projektet har därför varit att lösa de problem som rullstolsanvändare kan ha vid matlagning på spisen, till exempel att de inte når eller ser. Målet har varit att ta fram en fungerande prototyp för att kunna utföra användartester. Det här för att säkerställa förbättrad ergonomi och möjlighet till ökad självständighet hosrullstolsanvändaren.Projektet resulterade i en användarvänlig fungerande prototyp.

An organisation in Skåne, Miljösamverkan Skåne, presented a project in 2011 concerning food labeling. All municipalities in Skåne, audited certain products in several stores, in order to determine if they were labeled correctly according to law. Stores who produced their own food where also audited. As Swedes generally have an interest in buying and Cooking food from different countries, the demand is increasing, which makes stores provide the customers with a large range of different products to accommodate the demand. This essay will discuss the results of the project and how incorrect food labeling can affect human health.

The aim of this report has been to investigate the use of electricity energy before and after a conversion of foodservice. The ambition was also to highlight the food safety and the retention of nutrients in relation to the conversion. The methods being used were qualitative interviews, case studies, study visits and literature. The equipment and the use of energy was the same in 2008 as in 2011 for hot-holding of the tested component, sauce with ham. The chilled system used more than three times the energy and cost for one portion than one portion in the hot-hold system.

This essay discusses the issue of the role of women and also whether they could obtain a strong social position during the Viking Age. Moreover, it does discuss the question of how frequent women were present in Viking Age scriptures, art and archaeological artefacts in comparison to our view of women and her position in the modern society. The archaeological material used is in majority that found in Birka, such as burial and habitational findings. These objects, as well as other comparable and similar findings from other places, when put together with written sources, show that women had different roles in the society. She was able to have a strong social role during the Viking Age not only becauseof the status her family had but also because of her own merit depending of her skills and ability.The archaeological findings found in female graves and other findings in the area, suggest a specializing within both textile production and trade for the women.

The aim of this study of columns of readers' tips on domestic work is to analyze how readers embody a specific femininity centered around the woman as responsible for the home, in the sense of everyday maintenance as well as aesthetic development. The author defines this femininity as "home maker". The theoretical framework for the analysis is the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu, and Jonathan Potter's and Margaret Wetherell's model of interpretive repertoire is also used where modality is discussed.
