Att ena dagen vara frisk och mitt i livet och nästa dag drabbas av akut och allvarlig sjukdom leder för patienten till en känsla av kaos. Under vårdtiden ska sjuksköterskan hjälpa patienten genom detta kaos och förbereda patienten för att lämna sjukhuset och fortsätta med sitt liv. Detta görs genom vårdande samtal som syftar till att informera om sjukdomen, riskfaktorer och livsstilsförändringar. Samtalen har också en stödjande funktion.Syftet med examensarbetet är att utifrån hjärtinfarktpatienters upplevelser beskriva innebörden av det vårdande samtalet med sjuksköterskan. Det teoretiska perspektivet är det vårdande samtalet.

This bachelor?s thesis describes a qualitative case study of a public library as ?third place?, a place besides from home and workplace visited frequently for Conversation. The subject is chosen because of the many roles of public libraries. The main query of the study is ?What view does the public library have of its role as third space and how does that relate to the way utilization of the public library as third place is seen??.

The aim of the present study was to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of the contact with the ?fear of childbirth?-team (called Aurora-team) made by women who feared childbirth. Qualitative content analyses according to Graneheim and Lundman was used to analyse 91 womens own written notes made at the end of a questionnaire which (with a quantitative approach) evaluated the counseling made by the Aurora-team at a hospital in the south of Sweden. The following five categories developed during the analyses; experience of the Conversation, not knowing creates fear, thoughts regarding mode of delivery, the importance of how the birth plan is managed and the personnel´s standpoint regarding fear of childbirth. These categories can be seen as parts of the themes of experiences which made the fear of childbirth easier or which made it worse.

Women and men's equal, or unequal treatment has long been a topic of Conversation and the workplace is a place where the topic has been and continues to be in question. This study examines the jargon and culture within student-run companies in Gothenburg from a gender equality perspective, focusing on female and male perceptions. The study poses the research question: What does the culture and jargon look like in student-run companies in Gothenburg from a gender equality perspective? The choice of method for the study has been qualitative semi-structured interviews, which has been performed on current and former employees from several student-run companies in Gothenburg. The results show, on average, that the jargon and culture are perceived as relatively equal, but that there can be considerable variation across different areas.

Vid afasi påverkas förmågan att samtala och interagera med andra människor i varierande grad. Omgivningen kan utgöra en stor skillnad för hur personen med afasi lyckas interagera med hjälp av olika slags stöd, t ex med skrivet material som förstärkning till samtalsinnehållet. Aura Kagan har inom ramen för samtalsmodellen SCA (Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia) utformat ett bedömningsmaterial för konversationsförmåga hos personer med afasi och deras konversationspartners. Detta bedömningsmaterial har i den här studien använts som utgångspunkt för utformningen av ett svenskt bedömningsmaterial för konversationsförmåga som är ämnat att användas vid vårdinrättningar som rehabiliterar personer med afasi. Sex logopeder använde det framtagna materialet för att bedöma konversationsförmågan dels hos tio personer med varierande karaktär och svårighetsgrad av afasi, dels hos deras konversationspartners.

The Internet has become a communication system that includes a direct and personal communication as well as traditional mass communication. For example, the Internet has become a channel for self-publishing. It provides opportunities for discussion and blogs can be woven together into a dialogue between network users. The Conversation is both personalised and addressed to the wider community. Our study is based on how fashion bloggers perceive their role as a fashion blogger, and how young women, 18 to 30 years old, in Sundsvall, perceive fashion blogs.We chose to conduct qualitative research and held qualitative interviews and focus groups. Since fashion blogs are a relatively new phenomenon, we chose to do interviews with the active fashion bloggers, Nina Johansson and Karolina Skande, to use them as informants.

Assessing student teachers through Conversation - an interactional analysis of student-teaching conferencesThe aim of this study is to identify the characteristics of student-teaching conferences. During a school-based education for student teachers, teacher educators from the university visit the student teachers. They also have Conversations, so-called student-teaching conferences, with the students school mentors to assess the student teachers knowledge. These Conversations aim at assessing the student teachers professional knowledge at the end of a shool-based education.

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyses educators? experiences of reflective Conversations in their teams and part of teams in relation to their work with pupils in need of special support. Ten educators representing ten different teams have been interviewed since all had experiences of working in teams and working with pupils in need of special support. Focus has been on the educators? experiences of the organisation, the effects of the reflections and the need to develop the reflective Conversations in their teams and part of teams.

The purpose of this study is to explore specific pedagogical activities that benefit the student's verbal language development and to learn more about how our schools use teaching methods to achieve the ambitions in the governing documents in Sweden. The aim is finding the correlation between theory, research, governing documents and the educational work in our schools. This study contains an empirical survey in intention to see how teachers, pupils and school administrators experience school activities, to see if those activities are formed with the intention for pupils to reach the learning goals according to the governing documents.The aim of this study has been achieved by relating empirical data with theories and previous research on Conversation analysis. Goffman's and Norrby's research on the importance of dialogue and previous research on dialogicity studied by Dysthe, Vygotsky and Bakhtin are presented. Those are related to empirical data and show that most teachers realize the importance of integrating dialogues in daily activities and in different learning contexts.

This paper aims to create a better understanding for how executing private matters during work hours affect the individual worker. In todays world the access to social medias, the Internet and all your friends is easy to access due to smartphones and computers. Prior research as described this both as a threat against the productivity of the worker and the moral of the workplace. While others mean that it is a source of recovery and something positive.This thesis uses a qualitative method and fifteen interviews where conducted with people between 20-30 years, who where working and living in Sweden. The theory of this paper is built on following areas: Time, the line between work and private, together alone, the brain and the affect it has on the dialogue between colleagues.

Syftet med vår studie var att ta reda på hur pedagoger tillvaratar barns informella kunskaper och hur de konkret arbetar för att utveckla barns begreppsuppfattning i matematik med hjälp av språket. Vi avsåg även att undersöka förutsättningarna för en sådan undervisning. Vi ville se till både individ-, grupp- och organisationsnivå. Ytterligare en specialpedagogisk frågeställning som vi avsåg att undersöka var hur barn i behov av särskilt stöd gynnas av detta arbetssätt. Vi genomförde tio kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer, som var delvis strukturerade, med pedagoger som arbetar med språket på ett medvetet sätt i sin matematikundervisning.

Bakgrund: I Sverige dör cirka 95 000 människor varje år och runt 80 % av dessa är i behov av palliativ vård. Palliativ vård är en vårdfilosofi som bygger på att ge stödjande och lindrande vård när botande vård inte längre är genomförbar. Vid den tidpunkt när patienten drabbats av en obotlig sjukdom sker en brytpunkt, vilket innebär att läkaren identifierar patientens aktuella tillstånd. När brytpunkten är identifierad erbjuds ett brytpunktsamtal. I samtalet planeras det för den kommande palliativa vården.

Recreation leaders on youth recreation centres is a professional category, mostly mentioned in the public Conversation when it comes to taxes and youth problems. But what do they really do, what outlook do they have to their task, and finally, how are their daily lives like at work? The stories of twelve people represent the basis of this essay which itself consists of two separate studies. Six professional recreation leaders speak about their view of their own work, based on background, mission, education, ethics and position. The recreation leaders´stories reflect a worksituation with meetings of great significance andimportant standpoints.

Huvudsyftet med studien har varit att utvärdera hur en fem timmar lång kommunikationsutbildning riktad till sjukgymnaster på habilitering påverkar sjukgymnasternas kommunikativa stil i interaktion med barn/ungdomar som på grund av cerebral pares saknar tal. Utbildningen utformades som en inlärningsmodell i åtta delmoment (åttastegsmodellen). I utbildningen och studien ingick sex habiliteringssjukgymnaster som interagerade med var sitt barn/ungdom som till följd av cerebral pares kommunicerar med alternativt och kompletterande kommunikation (AKK) i form av kommunikationskartor. Interaktionen videofilmades vid tre separata tillfällen: en inspelning före utbildning, en inom två veckor efter utbildningen samt en sista filmning tre månader efter avslutad utbildning. Analys av videomaterialet gjordes med hjälp av en kombination av kvantitativ och kvalitativ analysmetod.
