Upplevelserna av ett coachande ledarskap - och vikten av emotionell intelligens för ledare

Det coachande ledarskapet är ett ledarskap som fokuserar på samspelet mellan ledare och medarbetare. För att studera detta ledarskap så har syftet med denna undersökning varit att undersöka upplevelserna av detta ledarskap som personer med beteendevetenskaplig utbildning har. Resultatet visar att undersökningsdeltagarna värderar relationen mellan ledaren och medarbetaren som det grundläggande i ledarskapet. Förutom det coachande förhållningssättet i ledarskapet så handlar det också om hur ledaren är och vilka egenskaper han eller hon har. Det viktigaste är att ha kunskap om sig själv och sitt eget beteende som ledare och här är emotionell intelligens betydelsefullt.

Intern kommunikation -ur ett organisationskulturellt perspektiv

Problem: How does the organisational culture affect the internal communication between the middle manager and his or herssubordinates?Purpose: The most common way is to study how the communication affect the organisational culture. In our study we have examined the reverse perspective. The purpose of this study would be to explain how the organisational culture affect the internal communication between the middle manager and his or hers subordinates.Theories: The basic theories in the study are The basic model, Internal communication, Levels of culture, High-power culture, Socialconstructions, Organisational structures and Leader Member Exchange Theory.Method: The study is based on the qualitative approach. We have used interviews for our collection of raw data.

Interaktion genom bildbaserad AKK vid autism. : En samtalsanalytisk fallstudie av hur kommunikativa projekt konstrueras genom samarbete mellan deltagarna.

I denna studie har vardaglig interaktion studerats utifrån ett dialogiskt perspektiv där en av samtalsdeltagarna är en ung man (M) med autism som använder alternativ ochkompletterande kommunikation (AKK). Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur kommunikativa projekt (t.ex. begäran av föremål eller aktiviteter) sekventiellt är konstruerade samt att synliggöra de sociala mönstren som bygger upp kommunikativa projekt vilka möjliggör för en person med autism att delta i en kommunikativ kontext genom bildanvändning och andra kommunikativa resurser. Analysen grundar sig på videoinspelat material av två kvällar då M filmades i sin hemmiljö. Conversation Analysis används som samtalsanalytiskt verktyg, vilket lämpar sig väl för att synliggöra kvalitativa samtalsfenomen.

During the last decade research in leadership has escalated and newleadership styles have started to prevail. This study intends to examinewhether a leaders increased level of motivation in turn can motivateemployees. A major company included all employees in a leader position inan exhaustive intervention with the purpose to increase the leaders?motivation in order for them to motivate their employees. After theintervention, which ended in spring 2012, interviews with six differentemployees at the company were made to see if their level of motivation hadincreased.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the lunchtime from a language development perspective. It will compare two preschools with different ways of organizing mealtimes and observe the conversations between teachers and children. It will also study the ways in which a meal is served and how it affects the conversations. In one of the preschools the children eat in a proper dining room where the food is served as a buffet while in the other preschool the children eat in the preschoolarea and the food is served in bowls on the tables. I also want to investigate how two of these preschool teachers reflect on the mealtimes as part of the language development plan.

Livsmedelssäkerhetsutbildning för småskaliga producenter i Blekinge : vilka behov, konflikter och problem upplevs av producenter och inspektörer?

I dagens samhälle efterfrågas närproducerad och småskaligt tillverkad mat allt mer. För att gå detta ökade behov till mötes behövs fler småskaliga livsmedelsproducenter. EU och staten satsar på landsbygdsutveckling och småskalig livsmedelproduktion; Sverige ska bli Europas främsta matland enligt jordbruksministern. För att stötta och inspirera producenter funderade Leader Blekinge på hur en utbildning kring livsmedelssäkerhet kan anpassas efter småskaliga producenters behov, då producenterna upplevde att de är i behov av kompetensutveckling. Syftet var att på uppdrag av Leader Blekinge undersöka hur en utbildning i livsmedelssäkerhet skulle kunna anpassas efter småskaliga producenters behov.

Gorbatjov ur ledarsidors synpunkt : en undersökning om 10 svenska dagstidningars ledarsidor ändrar åsikt om Gorbatjov före, under samt efter Augustikuppen 1991

The aim of this essay was to examine whether 10 Swedish newspapers editorial pages and their leader writers changed their view on Mikhail Gorbachev before, during and after the August Coup in 1991. Moreover, the aim was also to see if the editorial pages used the same sources when they wrote about Gorbachev.In this essay four main questions were asked:- How is Gorbachev described before the August Coup?- How is Gorbachev described during the August Coup?- How is Gorbachev described after the August Coup?- What sources did the editorial pages use when they wrote about Gorbachev?Ten newspapers and their editorial pages from the period of 1-31 August and 1-6 September, as well as 10-31 December 1991 and 1 January 1992 were examined. It was discovered that most of the editorial pages changed their view from being negative in August to being more positive in December.As a conclusion it can be stated that the examined editorial pages did not write much about Gorbachev in the beginning of August and if they did mention him it was in a negative tone. One of the reasons for the lack of mentioning during the August Coup could be that the leader writers were not sure whether Gorbachev would return back to power.

Interaktion i vardagslivet hos vuxna med Aspergers syndrom. Implikationer för intervention.

Aspergers syndrom (AS) innebär bland annat en begränsning i social interaktion, vilket resulterar i svårigheter inom flera kommunikativa förmågor. Trots dessa svårigheter finns ett begränsat utbud av kommunikativ intervention för personer med AS idag. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att analysera den vardagliga interaktionen hos vuxna personer med AS för att få fram ett underlag för hur en kommunikativ intervention skulle kunna utformas. Föreliggande studie bestod av en intervjudel och en videodel. I intervjudelen ingick sju deltagare och i videodelen ingick två deltagare.

The purpose of this study is to examine how consultants define conceptions of diversity and discrimination. There has also been an aim to find connections to the term intersectionality within the consultants? definitions. The link between consultants and academic research is interesting to examine in order to examine what they base their definitions of different conceptions on. In order to explore these definitions and discussions I have used the qualitative method of interviewing each consultant separately at different occasions.

Förändring inom Polisen ? : en fallstudie ur ett medarbetarperspektiv

Background: The Swedish Police authorities have accomplished several changes the last years. We have studied one of these changes, the co-ordination of two supporting functions, economy and staffadministration at the Police authorities in Östergötland, Jönköping, Södermanland and SKL (Swedish crime technical laboratory). The initiative to this change was taken in 2002 and in 2003 a decision was made to create a joint servicecenter.Purpose: The purpose of this rapport is, in a collaborator perspective, to study the employees´ experiences of the change process.Method: The empirical material was collected throw interviews with the employees who have taken part in the change process. Even the leader of the project has been interviewed.Results: We have distinguished five central aspects in the change process. These are information/communication and understanding, the project leader, teamwork, timeaspect/reflexion and the leadership.

Stolthet och fördomar: upplevelser av hur det är att vara ung i Herrgården

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the experience of being young and living in Herrgården in Rosengård, Malmö, from the aspects of six adolescents, two police officers, one social worker and one youth leader; and also what the cause is according to them, of disturbances arousing like those in the spring of 2007. At this moment there were antagonisms between adolescents and policemen. The research was performed with a qualitative method based on partly structured interviews. Four kinds of main themes were notable from the interview results. Those were: Growing up in Herrgården, Other peoples' view of Herrgården, Identity and Causes of the disturbances.

Att tolka som barn : En kvalitativ studie om vuxnas mäns upplevelser av att under sin uppväxt ha fått tolka åt sina föräldrar

The purpose of this study was to within a Swedish context and from five persons of foreign descent stories study how they have been affected by interpreting for their parents during their childhood and how this has affected the relationships within the family. Studies conducted in an American context have shown that children interpreting for their parents in everyday situations are prone to undertake roles similar of a family leader. Previous studies also show an increased danger of depression among children who interpreted for their parents. The study was conducted by the use of semi-structured interviews with five male respondents with a varying ethnic background. Using Antonovsky´s theoretical formulation ?sense of coherence? we were able to determine that although our respondents during their childhood were subjected to a large amount of stressful elements they also maintained a high sense of well-being.

Kvinna, chef, bibliotekarie. Triss i stereotyper?

Public libraries are mainly employing women and have female managers. According to theories based upon so-cial construction we create our roles together in our society. The role of a manager has for a long time been viewed as the role of a man. The objective of my thesis is to gain knowledge on how a few women that work as managers in public libraries perceive and describe their roles. A parallel aim is to let a few future librarians de-scribe their managers and their own views on leadership, with a focus on gender issues.
