This thesis has been conducted at Saab Bofors Dynamics AB. The purpose was to investigate if a non-linear missile model could be stabilized when the optimal control signal is computed considering constraints on the control input. This is particularly interesting because the missile is controlled with rudders that have physical bounds. This strategy is called Model Predictive Control. Simulations are conducted to compare this strategy with others; firstly simulations with step responses and secondly simulations when the missile is supposed to hit a moving target.

We will exemplify this by developing a dewatering pump rental concept for ABS, and identify the drivers and barriers for ABS when implementing the service oriented rental concept in Sweden and Poland. The reason for this is the required holistic perspective, where the system has to be regarded from different points of departure in order to be understood. In the electronic industrials, power control of AC motors is commonly used. For example power control of a washing machine motor, a vacuum cleaner motor or a coffee machine motor. The company Rejlers Ingenjörer AB has many projects where power control of AC motors is included. A prototype card for this task can save time and money for the company in the future and this is the reason for this thesis.The motors are power controlled by a TRIAC and control of the trigging pulses to the TRIAC. Stötvågsbehandling är en behandlingsmetod som sedan början av 1990-talet blivit allt vanligare när det gäller behandling av tendinoser. Tendinoser är bla vanligt förekommande i rotatorcuffen och armbågen. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att undersöka vad det finns för evidens för stötvågsbehandling vid tendinos i rotatorcuffen och vid lateral epicondylalgia. Artikelsökningen utfördes i databaserna Pubmed, PEDro, CINAHL, Medline och COCHRANE. Sökningen genomfördes under januari och februari 2011.

Tobii Technology AB is a global leading company in eye tracking. The technology is a part of acomputer screen called an eye tracker. It enables computers to follow eye movement whichfurther make it possible to control the computer by only using your eyes.The mission was to develop an arcade game for eye controlled games that Tobii can use in theirmarketing or as a tool when doing researches about the interest in the technology amongst gamecompanies. The product realization involved designing an innovative, functional and futuristiccase which gathered the existing hardware and software to build the final prototype. In order toattract users it was important to focus on the visual expressions.Initially, the project started off with an information retrieval which contained interviews, fieldstudies, tests and literature studies.

This report describes the manufacture and control of a flying platform. The report describes the basic and fundamental theories required to get the platform flying. Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att undersöka fyra idrottsföreningars syn på Handslaget, utifrån Stockholmsmodellen. Frågeställningarna är följande:1) Vem styr över Handslaget, d.v.s. vem har den organisatoriska makten?2) Vilka gynnas när idrottsföreningars och skolans fält korsas?3) Vilka konsekvenser kring idrottsföreningars engagemang i skolan framträder i Stockholmsmodellen?MetodI studien intervjuades fyra personer som var och en representerade olika nätverk och företrädde var sin idrottsförening. Intervjumetoden var av kvalitativ art med öppna frågor.  Intervjuerna sammanställdes och analyserades utifrån forskningsläge och teori. ResultatFöreningarna har en organisatorisk makt, i något nätverk är även kommunen styrande.

This thesis aims to show the positive effects of marketing by studying whether the regulation on direct marketing to consumers of prescription drugs today prevents to consumers accurate information and better health, and how consumers relate to the possible legalization of increased marketing through controlled and information audited webpages. Methods used in this research are qualitative method, quantitative method, documents and websites studies. The thesis fulfills the purpose as it shows the potential positive effects of an expanded marketing through pre-approved websites. It also shows a demand from the consumers' side and a need for increased awareness for more empowerment over their own health.
