KvalitetssÀkring av Patent- och registreringsverket : EPO-praxis som förebild för svensk handlÀggning av patent
Svensk patentrĂ€tt har i stor omfattning harmoniserats med praxis utvecklad av det europeiska patentverket (EPO), vad avser patenterbarhetskriterier. Anledningen till harmoniseringen har motiverats av att det ska bli en mer enhetlig bedömning av patent i Europa. Harmoniseringen har i vart fall inte innefattat sĂ„ kallad formell praxis, som innefattar regler om handÂlĂ€ggandet hos det svenska patentverket, i förhĂ„llande till handlĂ€ggandet av det vid EPO. Vid Sveriges anslutning till European Patent Convention (EPC) Ă„r 1978, föresprĂ„kades att det svenska patentverket ansĂ„gs hĂ„lla en godtagbar standard i sin handlĂ€ggning, men att det framÂtida förhĂ„llandet mellan svensk patentrĂ€tt och EPC kunde komma att innebĂ€ra förĂ€ndring om kvalitetsnivĂ„n inte kunde anses tillrĂ€cklig hög. Efter ett nyligen taget beslut av PatentbesvĂ€rsrĂ€tten (PBR) har Patent- och registreringsverkets (PRV) handlĂ€ggning ifrĂ„gasatts, varför författarna valt att undersöka om en förĂ€ndring av handÂlĂ€ggningen vid PRV bör genomföras, i enlighet med det förslag som framstĂ€lls i proposition 1977/78:1, med beaktande av praxis utvecklad av EPO. I uppsatsen redogörs för hur EPO har tydligare regler avseende patentÂĂ€renden Ă€n vad PRV har, varför en harmonisering av detta omrĂ„de bör diskuteras för sĂ€kerstĂ€llandet av hög kvalitet vid handlĂ€ggningen hos det svenska patentverket. Det Ă€r författarnas uppfattning att en ofullstĂ€ndig harmonisering Ă€ven av formella regler resulterar i ett problem för sĂ€kerstĂ€llandet av rĂ€ttssĂ€kerheten, eftersom lagregleringen i Sverige kan anses bristfĂ€llig.
Integration och dramapedagogik- en dialog?
Integration Àr ett komplext begrepp som kan ses utifrÄn flera perspektiv och synvinklar. Dramapedagogik emellertid utgÄr frÄn olika typer av vÀrdeord baserade i en gemensam vÀrdegrund. Centrala begrepp i detta Àr demokrati, acceptens och alla mÀnniskors lika vÀrde. Syftet med uppsatsen Àr att kartlÀgga, systematisera och problematisera forskning om hur drama kan anvÀndas, eller har anvÀnts i integrationssyfte. Hur ser dialogen ut inom forskningsfÀltet drama och integration? Vad sÀger det om dramapedagogikens betydelse i integrationsprocesser? Kan man urskilja nÄgra teman och i sÄ fall vilka?Som metod anvÀnds en litteraturstudie med en kvalitativ ansats som vilar pÄ utvalda begrepp som ingÄr i en integrationsprocess.Resultatet visar fyra olika kategorier dÀr drama anvÀnds som metod i integrationsprocesser.
Integration = att bli svensk? : - En kvalitativ studie om vuxna invandrares erfarenheter kring integration och koppling till integrationspolitik
Syfte med denna studie Àr att fördjupa förstÄelsen hur personer med utlÀndsk hÀrkomst, som kommer till Sverige i vuxen Älder upplever sin situation kopplat till integration i det nya landet. This paper examines whether membership in the European Union has contributed to democratic stability and integration in an ethnic diverse society. By studying the Latvian multicultural society, before and after membership in the EU, the author is looking for evidence of enhanced ethnic stability in the country brought through European integration. The author will analyze what the consequences have been, by adopting European regional policy, for a country that yet has to create a unified national identity. By analyzing different areas of the Latvian society, the author has concluded that the EU has played a small but yet not insignificant role for the Latvian domestic integration process..

The purpose of this essay is to illustrate immigrants? and refugees? thoughts and experiences of the process of integrating into Swedish society and to examine which social networks foster the process. The main questions in the study are: * What experiences enable refugees and immigrants to become integrated and fully participating members of the Swedish society?* What is the importance of the social networks with regards to integration into Swedish society? A qualitative method was used and five interviews were completed with SFI (Swedish for immigrants) students. The study shows that knowledge of Swedish language promotes an initiative in contacting native Swedes, and it also determines the success of integration.
Vad styr den kommunala integrationspolitiken? En jÀmförande studie i fem skÄnska kommuner
This paper analyzes governance of cultural and ethnic integration. The study has a comparative perspective between five municipalities in SkÄne. One aim in this thesis is to clearify the ratio between the state and municipal authority and how municipalities exercise their autonomy. I analyze the advantages and disadvantages in different governance methods linked to how the municipalities are working in practice and what problem the integration policy is intended to eliminate. I also resolve the influence of officials and citizens in the policy process.My conclusion is that direct ruling to a large extent is limited by indirect control.

Att integrera matematik och sprÄk : en kvalitativ textanalys av Lgr11
A new curriculum, Lgr11, was introduced in Sweden during the Autumn Semester 2011. My aim in this paper is to investigate whether an integrated and interdisciplinary approach is possible within this new Swedish curriculum.Firstly, I will describe the approach to integration and interdisciplinary work used in the new Swedish curriculum. Secondly, I will analyze whether the curriculum allows for an integrated and interdisciplinary work.The method used in this paper is a qualitative textual analysis and analyzing the new curriculumŽs approach to integration and interdisciplinary education has been the focus. The analysis has been based on the explicit and implicit basics of integration and interdisciplinary work in the curriculum.I assume theories of subject integration and curricula to come up with my results in the paper.To conclude, the results of my analysis of the curriculum show that an integrated and interdisciplinary approach is not only possible, but it is also each school Principal's responsibility as well as part of each teacher`s objective. The Principal's responsibility is to ensure that the integration and interdisciplinary approach is undertaken in school. The curriculum is clear that teachers should let their students work interdisciplinary as well as vary their methods of teaching.
Inkludering och integrering ur ett lÀrarperspektiv : Hur nÄgra lÀrare ser pÄ inkludering och integrering och hur det fungerar i verksamheten
 This work is a study, conducted by interviews, of how teachers evaluate the concepts of inclusion and integration. The aim of this work is to obtain views on the possible differences between teachers' own definitions and the previous research definitions. The earlier published research which was read during this work, together with the three interviews which were conducted is the basis for the study. I've done three interviews in which two of the people interviewed are active teachers and the third who works as an assistant headmaster at a school located in a suburb of Stockholm. The interviewed teachers have been working for different periods in the school which gave me the opportunity to highlight differences between teachers definitions depending upon the experience they had.
Hur ofta hÀlsar du pÄ din granne? : En kvantitativ studie av integration som förklaringskraft betrÀffande befolkningssammansÀttning och radikala högerpopulistiska Äsikter
A logical cause of migration is of course immigrants which is a topic always creating discussions. When arriving in a new country a process of integration with the goal to adapt to the environment is started. This study will explore the need for integration and seeks to examine the connection between population composition and radical right opinions.To fulfill the aim, a multivariate regression analysis is done on aggregated level in Sweden with statistics concerning the year of 2010. The relation between ethnic composition and voters support for the Swedish radical right party Sverigedemokraterna is studied as well as integration as an explanatory intermediate factor operationalized through unemployment, financial assistance and trust.The results of the study indicate a positive connection between immigrants from EU/EFTA and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna. A negative relation is identified between trust and the voter support for Sverigedemokraterna.

The purpose of my essay is to see how teachers are working to integrate the two subjects Art and Swedish in their teaching, and to see how this integration is made. What do teachers think about subject-integration? What are the positive effects of it? Are there any difficulties involved? Do the teachers prioritize cooperation with other subjects?To answer my questions I have interviewed eight teachers, four of them in upper secondary school and four in lower secondary school. I have also studied literature about subject-integration and children?s learning, curriculum?s and syllabi in the subjects of Art and Swedish.The results of my study show that the interviewed teachers are positive when it comes to integrating Art and Swedish and other subjects.
Mekanismen för tidig varning Hinder eller hjÀlp i den fortsatta europeiska integrationen?
Within the political science research it is common to examine the effects on the national parliaments caused by European integration. In this Bachelor Thesis the aim is instead to show what involvement of the national parliaments in the European Union implicates to the European integration process.The object of examination is the introduction of the parliaments as supervisors of draft legislative acts, this is also known as ?the Early Warning Mechanism?, through the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty. An analysis of answers from the national parliaments in the tests of three pilot cases, conducted by the COSAC, is made with help of Institutional theory and an Europeanization perspective.The main findings show that the mechanism of early warning probably will not become an obstacle for continued European integration, but it could slow down the process in some areas. Most probably though is that the mechanism forces the national parliaments to adapt and to be better equipped to react at events taking place at the European level.
Föreningsliv och demokrati : Om politiska, demokratiska och integrationsmÀssiga förutsÀttningar i en somalisk förening
In contemporary Sweden political participation among foreign-born Swedes is viewed as low and it is well known that foreign-born individuals do not use their voting rights to the same extent as the general population. At the same time there are numerous ethnic associations around the country who work with various activities involving political, democratic and integration issues. This study aims to study how four members of a Somali association regard, relate to and work with politics, democracy and integration. The study is based on these four people, but also on their relationship with authorities and other agencies in the community. The conclusion of this study shows in brief that the desire to participate politically is great, but that democracy and politics is accessible to all, depending on the level of language skills and what political knowledge the individual has.

ABSTRACT
This research explores how the Work Integration Center (AIC) supports unemployed immigrants in acquiring jobs and how the practical work helps immigrants in entering the labour market. It employs qualitative research approach through semi-structured interviews staff members at AIC and municipal commissioners of education and labour market in the municipality of Malmö. Its aim is to examine how governmental setup guidelines were represented in the practical work. These guiding principles of the organization are presented at the top of municipality. The findings suggest that even if the staff has no knowledge of the official measures of the integration plans, they have implemented the aims and criteria in their work with the immigrants.
