The shopping mall branch has estimated that the turnover of e-commerce will double within the upcoming ten years (NSCS, 2013). The growth can thus stop for shopping malls and there is a risk that some shopping malls end up being "dead-malls", completely losing their turnover.The thesis starts off with presenting the background for the factors of trade, i.e. e-commerce and shopping malls.This is followed by a presentation of which integration possibilities there are in Sweden today and by examples from the British market. Thereafter follows a section on integration possibilities that shopping malls can use in order to integrate e-commerce instead of regarding it as a threat. This can be done in several ways, e.g.

This essay is a comparative empirical study of ethnic integration mainly of the Russian-speaking minorities in the three Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) in a post-communism setting. As Lithuania has a Polish minority that is as large as the Russian-speaking, they too shall be included in the study but not as thoroughly as the Russian-speaking minority. Thus the problem is: to what degree are the ethnic minorities integrated with the titular nations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania? In order to study ethnic integration I have set up a theoretical framework largely based on Weiner?s theory of integration. The theoretical framework focuses on three dimensions: Citizenship, Identity and Segregation.

This bachelor thesis aims to analyse the effects of changes in management control systems following acquisitions, and deduce whether or not these effects are in line with the acquiring firm's objectives of the acquisition. Through a case study of technician consultant firm Energo, acquired in 2010 by ÅF, the study assumes the perspective of the acquired firm. Data has been collected through in-depth interviews at Energo and ÅF and complemented by internal documents to enrich and validate specific facts and statements. Data was then arranged and analysed through Otley and Fierriera's (2009) framework Performance Management Systems to understand how management control systems were constituted before the acquisition, what changes were made following the acquisition, how this process was accomplished and how it was experienced, in order to come to conclusions about the effects of these changes. The study concludes that the changes in Energo's management control system following the integration with ÅF, had significant effects on the outcome of the acquisition, primarily as it led to a high rate of Energo's employees resigning.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and investigate how the consumer-oriented commerce can be developed and integrated to the brand VĂ€stervik.This thesis has a qualitative approach and we have done a case study of the Swedish city VĂ€stervik. We have performed interviews, with eight selected respondents who have different backgrounds, but with competence in different problem areas that we investigate in this thesis.We have, in this qualitative thesis, found aspects that VĂ€stervik should consider if they want to succeed with an integration of commerce in the brand. We have through a model found common facets that commerce and tourism shares and which VĂ€stervik should consider in the process of branding the city.The results of this thesis are presented in chapter six, there we also have featured reappearing tendencies that consider the development of commerce and how the commerce could be integrated in the brand VĂ€stervik..

Chlorinated solvents are common contaminants in soil and water. Under anaerobic conditions microbes are capable of transforming chlorinated solvents into ethylene which would result in a remediation of the contaminated area. In order to use natural attenuation as a remediation method evidence of continuous degradation is required. Furthermore, the degradation must occur at a sufficient rate and continuous monitoring of the site is needed until the demanded levels are achieved. A field study was performed on the basis of data from a dry-cleaning facility contaminated mainly by perchloroethylene.

Efter mÄnga Ärs kompromissande kommer ett Europeiskt patent med enhetlig verkan (EU-patent) att införas. Tillsammans med skapandet av en enhetlig domstol, kallad Unified Patent Court (UPC), kommer EU-patentet sÀkerstÀlla en enhetlig patentrÀttslig tillÀmpning i alla deltagande lÀnder. I denna uppsats görs först en genomgÄng av vad EU-patent respektive patent enligt The European Patent Convention (EPC-patent) innebÀr och hur tvister hanteras. Sedan förs en diskussion kring skillnaderna och deras pÄverkan pÄ ett fiktivt företag inom bilsÀkerhetsbranschen.EU-patentet kommer materiellt inte sÀrskilja sig i nÄgon större utstrÀckning frÄn det nuvarande EPC-patentet. De stora skillnaderna kommer istÀllet att vara den förenklade ansökningsprocessen, minskade kostnader och det geografiska skyddsomfÄnget.

SammanfattningStudiens syfte Àr att öka förstÄelse för muslimska minoritetsgruppers bakgrund, identitet, vÀrdering och upplevelser. För att fÄ svar pÄ studiens syfte har jag intervjuat 5 muslimska respondenter. Jag har anvÀnt mig av den hermeneutiska metoden och jag har anvÀnt mig av min förförstÄelse och intryck för att kunna tolka och förstÄ respondenternas upplevelser. Fem vetenskapliga artiklar har anvÀnds i denna studie som behandlar olika fenomen omkring islam och muslimer i Kanada, Sverige, Tyskland och Norge. Artiklarna handlar om hur den muslimska slöjan bemöts, vad som ligger bakom negativa attityder mot muslimer, integration och segregation och diskriminering av muslimer.

Debatten om det svenska skattetillÀggsförfarandet och dess överensstÀmmelse med dubbel­bestraffningsförbudet i EKMR tog ny fart 2009 dÄ ED genom domen i Zolotukhin mot Ryssland, som avgjordes i stor kammare, gick emot sin tidigare praxis. Före Zolotukhin utgick domstolen frÄn brottets identitet för att avgöra idem-momentet i dubbelbestraffningsförbudet och ansÄg dÀrmed inte dubbelbestraffning föreligga om det i de bÄda processerna var frÄga om olika brottsrubriceringar. Denna slutsats kom ED till i Rosenquist mot Sverige som Àr den senaste domen som berört det svenska skattetillÀggsförfarandet. I och med ED:s nya praxis anser domstolen numera att det istÀllet Àr gÀrningens identitet som ska vara avgörande. Detta innebÀr att det avgörande Àr om bedömningarna i de bÄda mÄlen grundar sig pÄ samma eller vÀsentligen samma omstÀndigheter.I Sverige föreligger oenighet i frÄgan om betydelsen av domen i Zolotukhin för svenskt vidkommande.

Executive summary This master thesis was originally based on a specific assignment given to the authors from ABB Full Service, a unit specializing in providing maintenance outsourcing: ?How can ABB Full Service expand its offering of providing fundamental maintenance by seamlessly incorporating the business concept with competencies and solutions from other ABB divisions?? The academic issue was developed throughout the thesis, resulting in the following formulation: ?From an organizational perspective; how can service providers bring continuous added value to intra-organizational outsourcing partnerships?? Many of the key findings of this thesis are reflected in the issue. The term intra-organizational outsourcing is a proposed addition to the terminology in the academic discourse on outsourcing. The purpose of this essay was to reflect on previous made research, on examining how youth?s identity is formed by living in an area that society looks at negatively. The theoretical benchmarks that have been used in order to provide a better understanding are: identity, exclusion, ethnicity and adaption. The study is a qualitative study, since there is an aspiration in increasing the knowledge and understanding, of the conception that these individuals experience, as deviants in the society. This is a literature-based study, focusing mainly on written analysis, which consists of reports, theses and case studies.

This essay investigates whether there?s logic behind the sanction system regarding the penalty imprisonment in the swedish penal code.
