Idag är det allt viktigare att en kommun har en väl fungerande rekryteringsprocess. Det har utvecklats ett mer strategiskt tänk med väl utarbetade planer för hur rekryteringen skall gå till. Detta för att kunna säkerställa att rätt person anställs till rätt plats då en felrekrytering kan orsaka lidande både för personen och organisationen.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att beskriva och analysera hur Luleå kommun arbetar med rekrytering samt få en distinkt uppfattning om hur deras utarbetade arbetsprocess för rekrytering har tillämpats på förvaltningarna.Datainsamlingen till denna uppsats har skett via nio semistrukturerade intervjuer som skett med personer anställda på kommunen med någon form av tjänst som innefattar personalarbete samt att de har insyn i förvaltningens rekryteringsarbete. Som hjälp till att förstå organisationsformer och arbete inom personalarbete har teorier inom bland annat New Public Management, Max Webers byråkrati samt Elton Mayos Human Relationsskola studerats och har även varit till hjälp vid tolkning av resultatet.Resultatet visade att Luleå kommuns upprättande av riktlinjer för rekryteringsarbetet har varit välfungerande även om det finns förbättringsområden som skulle kunna förstärka deras rekryteringsprocess ytterligare. BackgroundThe lifeworld describes the experience of being a humanbeing, how we experience life and how we live our lifes. When a disease, such as depression occurs, the whole lifeworld can be filled with suffering. Depression is an affective disease, which means it involves the emotions. The patient gets dejected and the emotional devotion abates. Broken sleep, anxiety, pain, concentrations difficulties, fatigue and reduced appetite is some of the symptoms.

Epilepsy is a common neurological condition in dogs, being a common reason for death in the statistics from the insurance company Agria in Sweden. Among the different types of epilepsy, idiopathic epilepsy (IE) is the most common and is characterized by the fact that a veterinary examination does not reveal a cause for the seizures. This study has been conducted through studies of medical records and interviews with dog owners. From a total number of 103 dogs that were neurologically examined for seizures, 42 dogs met the inclusion criteria, being classified as having idiopathic epilepsy. When the study was performed, 28 dogs had died, while 14 were still alive.

This thesis deals with co-operation between municipalities viewed from the perspectiveof the small municipality. It poses two questions: How and why doessmall municipalities co-operate? and Which is the place of the small municipalityin a larger organization?. To examine this three Scanian municipalities have beenstudied and one Norwegian municipality is used to provide a perspective on theSwedish discussion.Four theoretical topics guide the thesis. Firstly the core values of municipalities;democracy, autonomy and efficiency.

ABSTRACTMany wind turbines have problems with icing and there is still no effective method to de-ice without stoppage of production and power loss. Here I therefore consider other methods than those available today, and particularly, I consider how these methods could be applied to wind turbines of the company Oxel. A surface where the water droplets do not attach might be the basis for a useful method. If no water attaches, no ice could form. To accomplish this a hydrophobic surface is nessesary, for example wax.

Science has shown that siblings to children with a disability are affected by the family situation. The siblings often let their own needs and requests come secondary to their family members. This study illustrates how different professionals, who keep in contact with families with a disabled child, works with its siblings. The purpose with this study was to see how professionals, working as administrators, counselors at the habilitation and kin supporters in the region of Kalmar, include siblings while working with the families. Representatives from the professionals have been interviewed with a semi structured interview manual.The result showed that professionals have various opinions how siblings are affected by the family situation.

I denna studie kommer vi att forska om entreprenörskap. Vi går igenom vad som kännetecknar en entreprenör och vad som skiljer en entreprenör från en vanlig företagare. Olika entreprenörer skapar olika produkter i olika branscher. Vi har avgränsat oss till de mest framgångsrika entreprenörerna för att se vad som krävs för att bli en framgångsrik entreprenör. Det är personligheten bakom företaget som har idéerna och driver företaget framåt. Vi kommer att studera denne framgångsrike entreprenörens drivkrafter, egenskaper och psykologi. Vidare kommer vi att använda teori om entreprenören och jämföra det med vår empiri.

Syftet med min essä är att uppmärksamma händelser i pedagogens vardag som ibland eller kanske oftast går pedagogen förbi eller är tabubelagda: Att förskolepersonal eller i och för sig all personal som arbetar med människor, arbetar på och gör saker som är obekvämt för oss som personer. Frågan väcktes i mig då jag började reflektera över mitt handlande i de på förskolan förekommande vardagssituationer, där jag/vi kvickt handlar i stunden och utifrån situationen. Men handlade vi på bästa sätt? Har jag som förskollärare rätt att känna och tänka utifrån mig själv som person och vad får jag uttrycka? Essän bygger på händelser som förekommit och som jag deltagit i under mitt arbete på förskolan och som sedan stannat kvar i mitt minne.Under arbetets gång har jag kommit fram till att mitt agerande på förskolan idag är förändrat genom att jag påbörjat min förskollärarutbildning. Många gånger tidigare har jag handlat på samma sätt i liknande situationer utifrån mitt som jag själv kallar det, sunda förnuft.

 The aim of this essay was to examine the way preschool teachers and children converse during school meals, and also the way preschool teachers start and develop conversations during meals. The conversations were analyzed from the topic of conversation and the teachers' ways of using language acts such as questions, remarks, exhortations. The study was based on observations, tape recording and contact schedule. The result shows that the topic of conversation is significant for how involved teachers are in conversations during meals. The result also shows how conversations develop or end depending on what language acts teachers use.

Bakgrund: ALS är en ständigt progredierande sjukdom som medför att muskelfunktionen reduceras. Detta pågår tills personen inte längre kan röra sig eller tala och till slut drabbas andningsorganen. Det leder slutligen till att personen avlider. Att drabbas av en obotlig sjukdom är en livsförändrande omställning vilket utsätter både den drabbade personen och dennes anhöriga för psykisk ohälsa.Syfte: Att beskriva personers upplevelser av att leva med ALS.Metod: Denna litteraturöversikt har inkluderat elva vetenskapliga artiklar som hämtats från CINAHL Complete och PubMed. Vald metod har utformats efter Fribergs metod.Resultat: I litteraturöversiktens resultat framkom fyra teman och två subteman.

The youth of today grow up with all the new ways to communicate that new technology provides. A lot of young people chat on the Internet. Adults often lack experience and knowledge about this way to communicate. This is a study of teenagers and adults values and views on teenagers online chatting. It focuses on area of use, meaning and effects on young people.

The aim of this study was to explore the students? use of and attitudes towards cannabis at Linnaeus University. Social psychology and gender perspective was used as theories to explain the use and attitudes among the students? and how the use and attitudes could change through social influence. The study operates from a quantitative approach and is based on an online survey which includes answers from 126 respondents.

Ett projektstyrningsverktyg som fått stor uppmärksamhet i den akademiska världen och av branschorganisationer är Earned Value Management (EVM). EVM beskrivs av forskare och praktiker som överlägsen andra metoder där det bland annat bevisats att EVM har en signifikant påverkan på ett projekts framgång. Metoden är standard i ett flertal länder men få svenska organisationer förutom vissa svenska myndigheter har adopterat EVM. Syftet med studien är att undersöka motiven till adoption eller avvisande av EVM i stora svenska organisationer för att skapa en bättre förståelse av adoptionsprocessen. För att uppnå syftet genomfördes kvalitativa telefonintervjuer med sex adopterande och fyra avvisande organisationer.

As artificial intelligence (AI) has gained more influence in recruitment, both recruitment processes and the role of the recruiter are changing. This study aims to describe and analyze how recruiters translate, use, and relate to AI in their work. Through a qualitative method based on semi-structured interviews and document analysis, the study explores recruiters? experiences, attitudes, as well as perceived obstacles and opportunities regarding the use of AI in recruitment. With a theoretical foundation in translation theory, fashion, and imitation, the study examines how AI is not only followed as a trend, but also shaped and adapted locally through translation, depending on organizational identity and needs.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether social counselling via chat conversations could meet the criteria for a professional conversation, and how the six social workers who were interviewed felt that it had affected the profession and the clients who are seeking their help.Communication, professionality, power, roles and regions are the key topics of this study. A hermeneutic approach has not only influenced the interviews but also the content analysis that was used to encode the results.The interviews revealed that the chat conversations was a successful tool but not entirely without difficulties. The initial contact making between the client and the social worker favours the client, since she/he remains anonymous and that was the main advantage of the method. The biggest concern however was that in the anonymity it is not possible to report cases that the social worker are obligated to. The changing of forum does not necessarily affect the professionality but due to the faceless chat conversation an entire dimension of communication disappears because the loss of body language.
