This thesis was written by order of Rud Pedersen Public Affairs Company, a PR- consultancy firm located in Gothenburg. The assignment was to investigate social media in Pr- activities. The thesis is formed by three main categories:? What is social media?? Who are using social media?? How can you use social media in public relations?The information which is being presented in this thesis is based on academic reports, interviews and research on social media blogs and lectures. It is a qualitative approach since the purpose is to get a deeper understanding for the subject in question.

Abstract:Objective: This study aimed at describing the health concept in the Swedish follow up programme for cerebral palsy (CPUP), with main focus on how aspects of participation is expressed in the agenda of the programme. Design: Document analysis: The home-page of CPUP was searched for three types of written material; references to the nature and aim of the programme, protocols used for data collection and abstracts from articles and reports on the list of publications. Within these all expressions of health, with bio-psycho-social understanding of the concept, were extracted and condensed with manifest content analysis. The meaning units obtained were linked to the International Classification of Function, Disability and Health ? Child/Youth (ICF-CY).

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att kartlägga hur ett tänkbart samband mellan mode och varumärke kan se ut i modeföretag. Metod: En kvalitativ studie med ett abduktivt angreppssätt. Slutsatser: Sambandet mellan mode och marknadsföring i modeföretag är mycket starkt, även om branschen i sig, historiskt sett inte agerat som om så vore fallet. Centrala faktorer för modeföretagen med ett starkt samband i just dessa två begrepp är bl.a.: ? Överexponeringsproblematiken, det faktum att varumärken kan förbrukas.
Tankefel, vad är oddsen för det - En studie om konjunktionsfel bland konsumenter inom vadhållning på sportspel
Several studies have shown that people misjudge and fail to correctly combine probabilities. An explanation for these tendencies is the conjunction fallacy. Basically, the conjunction fallacy refers to violations of the conjunction rule, which states that the probability of a combination of two independent events (A & B) cannot exceed the probability of neither event (A or B). In connection with the growth of the Swedish gambling market and the fact that betting is an everyday-event containing well-defined probabilities, it is considered to be both up-to-date and relevant to study whether the conjunction fallacy also occurs in betting. Previous studies have shown that people fall victims of the conjunction error, however, only in controlled laboratory settings.
Brand Culture : Between consumers and brands
The empirical data that lies behind this survey comes from field work between 1992 and 1995. This field work represents work I made myself as a sales-man for the company, Malmberg Original Water. The task was to implement the Malmberg mineral water brand on the restaurant market of the South-Swedish area. Our aim was to reach the upper-scale, premium market of restaurants. The mission was successfully completed, and at 1996 we had completed the position as the most exclusively positioned mineral water brand in Skåne (Southernmost Sweden).

How canan ATC in Musoma be developed into a stimulatingand educational park suitable for teaching agroforestrymethods to peasant farmers and other potential users?To answer that a field study was conducted to investigatehow our client Vi Agroforestry Programme (Vi) and thetarget groups of the client can benefit from the site.The thesis begins with a short explanation of thecontext, in which the ATC plays a part followed by amethodology chapter. Next are three chapters presentedwhich introduce the reader to the research conductedbefore starting the proposal, these include: results ofliterature studies, study of precedents, and results of fieldstudy.
In search for something "real" - consumers' perceptions of authenticity in regional food brands
Marketing research has acknowledged the concept of authenticity. It is argued that consumers in modern society increasingly search for something real, in contrast to what they perceive as mediated and distorted. Producers of regional food brands has acknowledged this trend, and started to market their products as being authentic. Given the potential practical and theoretical contributions in studying the concept of authenticity in this context, this study aims to explore how consumers perceive these claims of authenticity. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to extend knowledge on how consumers come to perceive a regional food brand as authentic.
Att förändra och nyskapa : En fallstudie av Unionens förändringsarbete för att skapa nya mervärden
Ett aktuellt exempel på en bransch i stort behov av förändring är fackförbunden, som kan liknas vid tjänsteföretag där service och utveckling blir allt viktigare för att attrahera medlemmar och skapa konkurrensfördelar.Att vara medlem i ett fackförbund har under en lång period varit en självklarhet för många förvärvsarbetare i Sverige. Men under senare tid har förutsättningarna för den fackliga verksamheten förändrats. Delvis beror det på att genomförd höjning av a-kassan, stor generationsväxling på arbetsmarknaden, nya branscher och anställningsformer förändrar intresset för anställda att ansluta sig till fackliga organisationer. Detta samtidigt som allt fler ifrågasätter nyttan av medlemskapet. För att kunna behålla styrkan som förhandlingspart och opinionsbildare behöver fackförbunden attrahera nya medlemmar.Detta är en fallstudie av fackförbundet Unionens pågående förändringsarbete med syfte att identifiera interna förutsättningar för nyskapande av mervärdet.

The installations functions as both the heart and brain in a house, thusmaking it important to energy optimize these. Since the background describes the importance ofenergy efficiency and optimization in a house, the focus area of this report will be an investigation ofdifferent types of heating systems in order to be able to choose the one most suited for the house.Aspects considered when choosing the heating system was how economic the system is both inservice- and investment costs and how environmental and operational friendly the system is.Through literature reviews there were sufficient information gathered that served as a foundation whencomparing and choosing between the four systems - district heating, pellet-fired boiler, geothermalheating and solar heating.

Demenssjukdom och livskvalitet - vårdrelationens betydelse för livskvalitet för personer som bor på vårdboenden : - en litteraturstudie
Bakgrund: Att vi blir allt äldre innebär också att allt fler insjuknar i en demenssjukdom. Då det i dagsläget inte finns något botemedel för sjukdomen blir det främsta omvårdnadsmålet att minska lidande och öka livskvaliteten och välbefinnandet för dessa personer. Då många med demenssjukdom bor på vårdboenden blir det vårdpersonalens främsta uppgift att skapa en bra vårdmiljö vilket innefattar en god vårdrelation. Vårdrelationen är central i all god omvårdnad och det är viktigt att ha en förståelse för att den vård som ges till personer med demenssjukdom antingen kan hjälpa eller stjälpa individen.Syfte: Att belysa vårdrelationens betydelse för livskvaliteten hos personer med demenssjukdom som bor på vårdboenden.Metod: Denna studie är en litteraturstudie där tolv artiklar analyseras. En kvalitativ innehållsanalys har använts där meningsbärande enheter i artiklarna har kondenserats, kodats och slutligen bildat kategorier.Resultat: Tre kategorier framkommer av resultatet som visar vårdrelationens betydelse för livskvalitet hos personer med demenssjukdom.

Empress Livia ? Murderer or wrongfully accused?An overview of the ancient sources on the empress Livia and what that suggests that shemurdered her husband Emperor Augustus and his adoptive children to make way for herown son Tiberius as the emperor of Rome.This work will analyze the ancient roman sources by the great historians from that time;Tacitus, Suetonius and Cassius Dio, and their works discussing the murder conspiracy of theempress of Rome; Livia.Here I examine what these ancient sources tell about the possible involvement of Livia, on thedeath of Augustus himself and his adoptive sons. Each author to these ancient sources will beexamined and contextualized according to their contemporary time, but also their political andideological views of women in high position and Ceasarism itself. Their characteristics andstyles of their written account will also be examined.The following issues will be dealt with in this work:? What does the ancient sources of; Tacitus, Suetonius and Cassius Dio say about theconspiracy theory in which empress Livia is central.? What is known about the authors of these ancient sources and to what extant mighttheir political and ideological view affect their written account?? Can the allegations directed at Livia be the result of the fact that she was a highlyinfluential woman at her time, something which the ancient authors by romanstandards saw as unfit for a woman, and therefore is mistreated in the written sources?? If so, were all women with power under the same time and circumstances criticized inthe same way in which Livia is portrayed?? Are there any other aspects that have not been treated equally in the past by authorsand researchers, in which new questionable guidelines can be made?As is very important to point out, this work and essentially all others alike will not evenassume to solve the final question if empress Livias was guilty or not of murdering herhusband, Emperor Augustus and/or his adoptive sons.

Because of an increasing demand from customers and changing external environment, there is a need for continuous improvements, for both manufacturing and service organizations, to meet these demands. Manufacturing organizations have been working systematically with quality improvements for a long time, but it has not been as common for service organizations. Because of that the methods to use for implementation of the systematic improvements have not been designed to fit service organizations, and not either for public organizations. The purpose of this thesis is to explain if and why the Swedish Road Administration?s organizational culture and handling of ideas and deviation support an implementation of continuous improvement management.
