Implementering av tillståndsmaskiner med PRBS

Tillståndsmaskiner är vanliga komponenter i många digitala konstruktioner. En vanlig typ av tillståndsmaskin är räknare. Räknare är ofta ganska kostsamma att implementera, med avseende på antalet grindar. För att reducera denna kostnad kan istället en PRBS (Pseudo Random Binary Sequence) användas. Denna byggs upp av ett register där en xor - operation utförs mellan två positioner, som beror på längden av registret.

Uppgradering av styrsystem och en operatörspanel för en centrifug

Examensarbetet har gått ut på att uppgradera ett styrsystem och en operatörspanel för en centrifug i en kemisk industri. Projektets syfte är att centrifugen ska köras på ett mer automatiskt sätt med ett nyare system som har större tillgång till reservdelar.          Centrifugens äldre styrsystem från Siemens har bytts ut mot ett nytt Siemenssystem och den tidigare operatörspanelen från Siemens har bytts ut mot Beijer Electronic E1070 operatörspanel. Styrsystemet programmerades sedan i Siemens Simatic Step7 och operatörspanelen programmerades i Beijer Electronics E-designer.                Efter att programmeringen var klar testades kommunikationen mellan styrsystemet och operatörspanelen innan inkopplingen av det övriga systemet skedde.

Ethernet-baserat interkommunikationssystem för militära fordonssystem

The result of this master thesis report describes the advantages and the drawbacks that will arise when implementing an Ethernet based intercommunication system in military vehicles. The report presents a possible solution and describes how different sound applications will be implemented into the suggested solution. The report show that IP LAN in vehicles leads to more advantages than drawbacks. The main advantages are that all kind of media can share the same LAN and that there is a lot of knowledge of this technique in the civil area. The main drawback is about delay.

På den nuvarande klädmarknaden råder en hård konkurrens eftersom utbudet av varor och tjänster har ökat. Konsumentens förändrade beteende har lett till att företag måste sticka ut med hjälp av sitt erbjudande. Ett sätt att utmärka sig på marknaden är att arbeta med relationer och få kunden att vilja återvända på grund av butikens service. En kund som känner sig trygg i shoppingsituationen kan bli en viktig stamkund. Den traditionella mannen finner inget nöje i att shoppa och vill därför att processen ska gå så snabbt som möjligt.

VSEM project and the need for a more efficient way of handling requirements andinformation are highly apparent.The overall objective of this thesis is divided into two parts:1. To identify criteria/factors leading to a successful introduction of an informationmanagement system.2. To develop an implementation process for a requirement management system ?the first step towards a PLM system in EE development at VCC.This will be done through interviews with employees, a literature review and an analysisof studies of three earlier projects within VCC.The conclusion of this study shows the great need for change in work methods fordesigners handling information and requirements. An implementation process has beenidentified with guidelines on how to handle different phases of the process.

The thesis deals with consumers behaviour in the use of online services and the cultures effect on it. It is a study of Swedes and Danes use of online job data bases. The thesis is based on a quantitative study. A questionnaire were used sent out to 80 Swedes and 80 Danes. The theory concerns areas of online consumer behaviour, decision making and services theory as well as theories within culture in relation to services and behaviour.

Testsystem för utredning av integrerad styrning för RC-helikopter

AbstractThis report is about the creation of a test system for development of a control system for a off the shelf RC-helicopter, which can be bought for about two thousand SEK. The test system consists of both electronics for controlling the helicopter and mechanical constrainer. The constrainer is used for mounting the helicopter so that it won´t crash.A circuit board including processor and sensors was manufactured. This was used for doing test of the different control algorithms. In this way were we able to analyze the quality of the sensors chosen, and what other sensors that could contribute to the control of the system.Basic helicopter control have been studied and presented in the report.

FIFO-kostruktion baserat på ett enkel-ports SRAM

Vid implementeringar av FIFO-arkitekturer har asynkrona FIFO-konstruktioner använts. Denna lösningsmetod har visat sig innehålla en del brister vid tillämpning på höghastighets system, vilket ledde till att synkrona FIFOn började ersätta asynkrona FIFOn. Den synkrona arkitekturen har samma funktonalitet som de asynkrona typerna med fördelar som högre hastighet och enklare gränssnitt. I rapporten har olika FIFO-konstruktioner behandlats och jämförelser har gjorts mellan synkrona och asynkrona arkitekturer. Det vid ISY konstruerade SRAM-minnet har sedan avgjort vilken typ av FIFO-arkitektur som varit bäst lämpad för implementering.

SmartMedia-controller på chip

This report deals with the design of a controller for SmartMedia? flash memory cards, based on a hardware description found in the SmartMedia? Interface Library - SMIL. The design was made on logic gate level, using standard cells in OrCAD Capture. After simulation of the design in PSpice A/D, it was exported as an EDIF netlist, which was used to make a chip layout in L-Edit, a layout tool for making integrated circuits. The layout was made using a method called Standard Place and Route - SPR, where the layout tool places standard cells from a library and connects them according to the EDIF netlist.

In a time when concern for the environment is a topic that is met with both love and hatred, organic goods and services become increasingly common on the market. Communication efforts with the purpose of increasing the proportion of organic products consumed are being conducted by both private and public actors. However, achieving attitudinal and behavioral change within complex areas such as this comes with many difficulties.Within public opinion change, a common way of achieving a change in behavior is to use fear appeals and scare tactics. Earlier studies have shown that messages prompting a low level of fear can be more effective than messages prompting a high level of fear, since a high level of fear tends to raise defense mechanisms in the consumer. The purpose of this essay is to examine whether fear and defense mechanisms is a problem when it comes to making consumers choose organic products, as well as studying whether messages prompting low levels of fear are more effective than those prompting high levels of fear.This quantitative study is conducted in the form of a questionnaire-based experiment, comparing the effectiveness of two messages prompting different levels of fear.

Additionally a theory of the Consumer Buying Process and CAPM-model about financial risks is presented.Method: An event study of 30 companies to investigate if there is any change in their stock values and interviews with three professionals from the financial sector to find out about their attitude to CSR.

Prisetikettens roll i kundens köpprocess - En kartläggning av kundernas användande av prisinformation i den svenska dagligvaruhandeln

When patrolling grocery stores, customers engage in a purchase situation where they face great amounts of information, whereof price is one. This paper intends to shed light on the price information search behavior that customer's exhibit before choosing their products in grocery stores. In order to do so two studies have been conducted, one quantitative and one qualitative, to assemble the data needed to provide statistically significant results. The objective of the quantitative study is to gather data on customer's external price information search, and it is based on the most recent eye-tracking technology. The second qualitative study is complementary and based on interviews with randomly chosen customers that have responded to several questions regarding their price information search, shopping knowledge and experiences.
