Järnvägens banutnyttjandeplanering : nuläge och förbättringsförslag
The Swedish National Rail Administration has changed in the past decade, from its origin after a less dramatic separation from the Swedish State Railways to becoming an authority with its own identity. Today the National Rail Administration is a large organisation with several different departments, each with its own unique function. To operate train services the railway needs to be ?in shape?, leading to a need for maintenance, reinvestments and new investments. For this purpose, the National Rail Administration carries out public procurement where contractors, who are able to perform maintenance and new construction, submit tenders.
Heteronormativets lag : En rättssociologisk studie av rättsligt homosexuellt föräldraskap
This thesis has focused on the construction of homosexual parenthood in Swedish law and preparatory work. The purpose was to describe the norms about legal parenthood and examine if and how homosexual parenthood was included in the normative parenthood. The study was jurisprudential and based on methods such as sociology with a juridical focus and critical discourse analysis of the juridical texts. The theoretical framework was the critical discourse analysis as well as a queer perspective, both influenced by social constructionism and a poststructional theory. The conclusion of the study is that parenthood is described from what is presumably best for the child, which is two parents of different sexes and biological origin.
Arbetsberedningar på NCC : Undersökning om hur arbetsberedningar används som ett verktyg för att effektivisera produktionsprocessen
I byggbranschen påverkar planering omkostnader och kvalité vilket gör att det krävs en bra och noggrant planering innan ett byggprojekt påbörjas. Arbetsberedningar är ett planeringsverktyg som används vid genomförandefasen med syfte att effektivisera arbetet. Denna studie beskriver hur arbetsberedningar på NCC Construction AB används och vad den har för påverkan samt hur den kan förbättras. I denna studie har fyra av NCCs arbetsplatser undersökts, där både ledning och medarbetare intervjuats. Studien visar att arbetsberedningar på många sätt är ett uppskattat planeringsverktyg av ledning och ett bra underlag för yrkesarbetarna samtidigt som flera anser sig klara sig utan dem.
Analys av skillnader mellan transmissionsprovning i rigg respektive fält för hjullastare på Volvo Construction Equipment
Detta examensarbete syftar till att utreda vilka skillnader som råder mellan livslängdsprovning för transmissioner i rigg respektive fält för hjullastare på Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE). Hjullastare benämns maskin i den följande texten. Uppgiften har delats upp i tre delar; ? Kartläggning av riggens uppbyggnad samt vilka tester som utförs i rigg respektive maskin i dagsläget. ? Analysera vilka effekter dagens skillnader i testning har på de transmissioner som provas i rigg respektive maskin.
Förlorad lönsamhet - en studie av PEAD:s förändrade egenskaper på den svenska aktiemarknaden mellan år 2000 och 2009
In this thesis we study the development of post-earnings announcement drift (PEAD) in the Swedish equity market from 2000 to 2009. By forming portfolios based on the stock price reaction to quarterly reporting we show that the characteristics of PEAD have changed. We demonstrate that negatively surprising companies show a positive drift during a holding period of six months sufficiently large to render the trading strategy unprofitable. This development holds from 2005 and onwards and these results contradict many a study which finds the same portfolio construction to be indeed profitable. We argue that this development is a trend that will not only affect our study but future studies as well..
Att arbeta säkert i byggbranschen. : En kvalitativ studie om säkerhetskulturen inom NCC Construction, avdelning Västerbotten.
Byggbranschen är en av de farligaste branscherna, i Sverige, där 55 personer omkommit de senaste fem åren. En organisations säkerhetskultur är en viktig faktor för att minimera olycksfall på arbetet. På grund av detta är det intressant att undersöka hur säkerhetskulturen ser ut inom ett svenskt byggföretag. Säkerhetskulturen inom NCC, avdelning Västerbotten, har undersökts med hjälp av fokusgrupper och enskilda intervjuer utifrån ålders- och maskulinitetsperspektiv då dessa antas påverka säkerheten på arbetsplatserna negativt. Ett jämförande perspektiv har antagits där attitydskillnader mellan tjänstemän och yrkesarbetare eftersökts.

This report is a study in voltagelevel in connection with regeneration of brake energy from the tramtype M31 in Gothenburg.In the act of braking, the tram M31 uses electrical braking where the electrical motors generates energy and if possible send it back to the overheadline, where other trams in the nearby can use this regenerated energy for its own driving force. In cases where no other energyconsumers are located in the same section, there is a resistance witch task is to convert this energy into heat. The regulation of this resistance appears to cause an increase in the voltagelevel into far too high levels.Investigations of the trams regulationequipment and its construction have been done. Further have measurements on the overheadline been performed in order to map the voltagevariations during a longer period of time.The result have been showing that the voltagelevel during regeneration often is as high as 880V-920V, more extreme values have not been observed in a large scale. The values are especially high compared to the nominal voltagelevel.

Kappor inom damkonfektion - från grund till modell
Bakgrunden till rapporten var att det företag som medverkat i studien ville utveckla ett grundmönster för damkappor. Syftet med arbetet blev därför att utarbeta ett grundmönster med två ärmtyper som graderas mellan storlek 32-50, samt konstruera en kappmodell från samma grund. Utöver detta skulle även detaljkonstruktioner och specifikationer utformas. Frågeställningarna som styrde arbetet kretsade därför kring hur man på bästa sätt tar fram detta.All konstruktion utfördes i Lectra´s Modaris. För att ta fram grundmönstret jämfördes två arbetssätt för att sedan välja en av de grunder som konstruerats.

Konstruktioner av kvinnligt och manligt i våldtäktsdomar : En kvalitativ textanalys
The purpose of this study is to examine constructions of plaintiff [woman] and the defendant [man] in Swedish rape convictions from 2013. The cases in this study cover acquaintance rape. We also intend to analyze the constructions of the sexes in relations to each other. The study is completed by a qualitative text analysis, with inspiration of a hermeneutic interpretation. The result is presented by four categories: the worthy of protection of the woman, the penalty of the man, the complicity of the woman and credibility.

Barley is one of the most important cereals cultivated in the Nordic countries. Climate change brings warmer and moisture climate which favors fungal diseases. In the cropland barley can be seriously infested with hard fungus attack. Since it is important that the yield bears a high quality it is of great importance to find varieties more resistant to attacks.Pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins are stress proteins induced in the plant in response to infection and abiotic stress (van Loon, 1997). PRs are shown to have antimicrobial activity differing between bacteria, fungi and oomycetes (Tandrup Poulsen, 2001).
