Utvandrarna och friheten : En narratologisk undersökning

The purpose of this essay is to do a narratological analysis of Utvandrarna by Vilhelm Moberg to see how the form affects the theme of freedom and liberation. I used narratology as the method of analysis and my questions for the text regards the significance of the narrator, the use of focalization, the powers, helpers and opponents, the locations and spaces, and how these aspects affect the theme. In my analysis of the novel I found that the narration took place in three levels. This gave the story different perspectives of the theme; an outer perspective, a semi-distant perspective and a more personal perspective. The focalization of the main characters creates sympathies, and the focalization of non-main characters gives the reader an outer perspective on the characters.

Det har inom krigföringen skett en utveckling mot riskfri krigsföring där västliga stater, och då främst USA och Storbritannien är de främsta representanterna. AbstractThis paper will examine the co-operation culture in teacher work teams in a primary school currently undergoing reorganization in the Stockholm region. This inquiry is based on qualita-tive interviews with teachers and work team leaders, and is aiming to answer how teachers co-operate during the reorganization process, to find the factors that affect co-operation. Our results show that the two teams practice communication, leadership and participation very differently. Currently there are clear differences in the work team?s tendency to develop and to work with the reorganization process, pedagogic methods, social and emotional awareness and ideological beliefs.

What goes up must come down - Modelling economic consequences of wind turbine decommissioning

At the time being there is limited experience within turbine decommissioning in Sweden and the economic effects are unknown. Despite this, there are expectations that revenues generated by sales of materials will cover decommissioning costs. The model developed identifies thirteen parameters that vary between different types of turbines and that affect the economic consequences of decommissioning. The three most important parameters are turbine location, tower material, and the scope of decommissioning. Trends in the wind energy industry show that these three factors are developing in a manner that increases decommissioning costs dramatically.

Helhetssyn på rehabilitering vid CI-operation : En systematisk litteraturstudie

Inledning: Helhetssynen på rehabiliteringen efter en CI-operation berörs av många olika aspekter som påverkar livskvaliteten. Vid rehabiliteringen efter att ha opererat in ett cochleaimplantat (CI) är det viktigt att inte bara se till patientens direkta hörselbehov, utan ha en bredare helhetssyn och ta hänsyn till andra behov patienten kan ha. Olika delar i rehabiliteringen efter en CI-operation är teknisk -, medicinsk-, pedagogisk-, psykologisk-, psykosocial-, och samhällelig hörselrehabilitering. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka på vilket sätt rehabiliteringsmetoder vid CI-operation sker med utgångspunkt i en helhetssyn på rehabilitering inom audiologisk forskning, samt undersöka hur livskvaliteten påverkas efter CI-operation. Metod: Examensarbetets syfte och frågeställningar har granskats och besvaras genom en systematisk litteraturstudie.  Resultat: Studier med en helhetssyn på rehabiliteringen som innefattar de sex olika delarna inom hörselrehabilitering saknades. Studiens resultat indikerar att livskvaliteten efter en CI-operation blir avsevärt förbättrad, detta utvärderas med olika självskattningsskalor och rehabiliteringsmetoder.
