Föreliggande studie syftar till att undersöka beslutsfattande, riskbedömningar och skillnader i konsolidering i anslutning till ett medicinskt prioriteringsbeslut (Svenson & Lindholm, 2007). Studien belyser betydelsen av den kognitiva och emotionella komponenten i beslutsfattande (Boyer, 2006) med utgångspunkt från bl.a. Differentiering och Konsolidering, Kognitiv dissonans och Affect heuristic. Dessutom undersöks huruvida det förekommer en könsskillnad mellan hur män och kvinnor fattar beslut och utvärderar risker samt om ångest och prestationsbaserad självkänsla påverkar konsolideringen. Rekryteringen skedde vid Malmö högskola och omfattade 72 studenter.

This master?s thesis attends to a debate in the Swedish daily press concerning the public library which arose after the Swedish Moderate Party?s publication of their cultural political document Kulturen 2.0. This document contains a number of standpoints, of which three directly concern the public library: charges on book loans, libraries on contract and politically balanced purchase policy. In all, 28 articles are examined by means of an idea and ideological analysis. The purpose is to find out what is behind the Conflicts surrounding attitudes about the public library's mission and activity in an era of needs for change.

Trots att världens sammanlagda välstånd ökar, bor mer än fem av jordens dryga sex miljarder invånare i utvecklingsländer där en vanlig inkomst är under två dollar om dagen. Samtidigt ökar också de nya typerna av konflikter, som tar uttryck i inomstatliga sammandrabbningar och terroristaktioner. Många bottnar i ett djupt missnöje och kan spåras tillbaka till fattigdom och resursknapphet. Det är ur ett säkerhetsperspektiv av allra största vikt att kartlägga och komma tillrätta med dessa bakomliggande faktorer. Fattigdomsbekämpning är en central term i detta arbete.

The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The experiences of giving advice in interaction with parents, health professional themselves experienced the power to influence the parents with the advice they gave, while the parents' previous experience and knowledge impacted on how the advice came into practice.

In this text I will work on three situations from my daily work as a pedagogue at preschool. The situations are about how pedagogues at preschool relate to children in difficult situations, e.g. when they pee in their pants or long for their pacifier. Those are situations which occur frequently at preschool, but they are still rarely coming up for discussions. The problem in the situations is difficult to describe which makes the essay a suitable form for me to explore and discuss it.

Med utgångspunkt i de senaste årens uppmärksamhet kring den svenska Polisen och de konflikter som uppstått mellan arbetsgivare och arbetstagare väcktes ett intresse att studera vad som låg bakom dessa problem. Det visade sig att merparten av de problem som uppstått grundade sig i att anställda uppträtt på sätt som inte ansågs gynnande för organisationen och dess förtroende hos allmänheten. Studien ämnar besvara frågor kring hur Polisen som organisation formar sina anställda med utgångspunkt i teorier om identitetsarbete.En kvalitativ undersökning genomfördes med studier av organisatoriska dokument och genom semistrukturerade intervjuer. De intervjuade består av personer verksamma inom den svenska Polisen. Dessutom intervjuades personer från svenska Polisförbundet, det fackförbund som organiserar närmast alla Sveriges yrkesverksamma poliser.I resultatet framkom indikationer på, utifrån de teoretiska begrepp som har valts för studien, att hur individerna formar sina identiteter är relativt individuellt.

Svårigheter att hitta relevant information på internet är ett stort problem som kostar svenskar både tid och pengar. På internet finns komplexa informationsmiljöer med stora mängder data och i dessa miljöer är det särskilt viktigt att användare får stöd i sitt letande. Det finns tidigare forskning inriktad på att kvantitativt undersöka användares informationsletande men en brist på kvalitativ forskning inom området. I denna studie undersöks användarbeteenden kvalitativt genom sex intervjuer och observationer med användare av den komplexa informationsmiljön Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP). För att ta reda på användarnas informationsmål samt hur lätt det är för användare att hitta information i UCDP har gränssnittets upplevda användarnytta, hittbarhet och användbarhet undersökts.

Background: Abortion implies that the pregnancy is interrupted. According to the World Health Organization approximately 46 million induced abortions are carried out each year. Different methods of abortion can be used such as medical and surgical methods. The medical method especially affects a nurse?s experience of the procedure.

Many children and adolescents up to the age eighteen come from other countries alone to Sweden to seek asylum. Sweden receives many unaccompanied children and the number of unaccompanied children is increasing every year. There are various reasons to why the unaccompanied children flee their homeland to come to Sweden. Many of the unaccompanied children come from countries such as Somalia, Afghanistan and Eritrea. The unaccompanied children?s families choose to send their children to Sweden to protect them from armed Conflict and other social or political unrest going on in their homeland. This essay aims to explore how the integration of the newly arrived unaccompanied children works in schools.
