Självkompakterande betong (SKB : förbättrad arbetsmiljö och konstruktion
Självkompakterande betong (SKB) eller som den också kallas vibreringsfri betong upptäcktes och utvecklades i Japan i slutet av 1980- talet. Anledningen till detta utvecklingsarbete var att betong gjutning väldigt kämpigt och tillgången på erfarna betongarbetare började bli låg. I Sverige använde man självkompakterande betong året 1993 som tekniken hämtades hem av CBI Betonginstitutet.Användning av självkompakterande betong leder till många fördelar som skiljer sig från den vanliga betongen avseende arbetsmiljö t.ex. slipper man vibrering och undviker tungt arbete som i konsekvens minskar antal skador på arbetsplatsen. Utöver detta ger SKB förkortad arbetstid, bättre utförande och möjlighet till arbetskraftbesparing.Sedan 1997 har Sverige ökat användning av SKB i platsgjutning medan andra länder som Danmark har gått fram till ca 30 % av sin platsgjutning.

The design addresses the selection ofmaterial, sizing and selection of both building services systems and building technical features suchas load-bearing framework and moisture control. Interior layout is designed for a family of twoadults and one child.A big part of the report is devoted to an in-depth comparison of three different wall constructions ofpassive house standard. The structures that have been compared are a lightweight timber structure, aheavier concrete structure and a sandwich wall of the brand Weber Leca. The report covers variousaspects such as air flow, wall thickness, the risks associated with the construction, U-value, thermalbridges, power consumption, price, and assembly costs.

AbstractThis study is based on qualitative interviews with five-year-old children from a nursery school and two teachers with great experience. The purpose with the interviews is to find out what knowledge these children have about the Right of Common and what the teachers think they need to find this knowledge.The children didn't know what the word Right of Common stands for but when they got more concrete alternatives they had good experiences. The two teachers had different opinions about what is the most important concerning the stays in the nature. Exercise meant a lot for one teacher. To have fun and to use all your senses were more important for the other one.

During pre-slaughter handling of pigs the animals are often subjected to methods that induces stress and are a threat to the wellbeing of the animals, such as mixing of groups, loud noise and transportation. A new law will be implemented in 2006 in Sweden that prohibits mechanical noise exceeding 65 dB in abattoirs. The purpose of the research presented in this paper was to examine the effects of noise and transportation on pig behaviour. The activity and aggressiveness of the pigs were examined with behavioural studies during transportation and during three different noise levels: 55, 75 and 95 dB.
Before the noise treatments took place the groups were mixed and half of them were transported for approximately 2 hours. In the study 432 pigs were used.

The greatest temperature difference isfound at night when the weather is calm and the sky is clear of clouds. There are twomajor causes behind this phenomena and the first one is the use of energy forheating of houses. The heat leaks through the walls of the buildings and warms upthe surrounding mass of air.
